We really enjoyed the house and grounds. The outdoor space is wonderful, with the infinity pool and hot tub. We used both daily. The rooms are comfortable with good beds and linens. The kitchen is large and a great place to hang out. The only disappointment was that the piano was badly out of tune and not usable due to that. This property is remote, about 40 minutes to Asheville. It would make a great corporate retreat of family reunion.

We had an amazing week at Mt Airy Farm! It is the perfect place to reconnect with family members while relaxing, enjoying the pool and the gorgeous views. We also used the tennis court and fire pit and spent some time exploring Asheville. Such a special place-our whole family loved staying there!

We stayed here for a week and hosted a “reception” (more like pool party with catered food/cake) for family after our wedding ceremony at Pretty Place in Cleveland, SC. The property was amazing overall, the infinity pool and hot tub was where we spent the bulk of our stay. When we arrived, we found full trash cans. Based on the initial communication I received about who to contact, I reached out to Mark (manager) about when those cans would be emptied so we could continue to move trash out. I never did hear back from him, so I contacted Cole, who immediately got back to me and removed those trash bins and brought around empty ones for us to use. Overall the house was very clean, well stocked with linens and lots of general house products such as toilet paper, paper towels, etc. Only thing we found lacking is that there seemed to be some lacking general upkeep such as lights not working. We couldn’t get the direct tv to work, but honestly that was fine. We were plenty happy to be outside for the entirety of our stay. The view is immaculate and the pool/hot tub are incredible, but again only one pool light works ;) The outdoor furniture is different than showed in pictures, what’s there now by the pool does not have cushions. Overall the property is beautiful, clean, and worked wonderfully to meet the purpose that we dreamed of for our wedding for our family. We throughly enjoyed the time we spent here!

We had a great time at Mount Airy. The area is beautiful. I would recommend it as a wonderful family vacation destination. There are some things that I would address. The pool was great, sad that the infinity part of the pool didn’t work. We were looking forward to that. There were some very loose bricks around the pool that made it a hazard. We had to avoid them. The on property people came over and we did explain our concerns over some in house concerns but when we tried to reach them , we never got a response. Also there is no way to get out of the sun. Umbrellas by the pool would have been helpful.

The home is beautiful and very large. Infinity pool was amazing, we enjoyed water play, swimming and the hot tub. Wrap around decks (3 levels) with beautiful Mountain View’s from the decks & windows. We had a catered dinner one night, the kitchen is large & a chef’s dream. Granddaughters enjoyed playing on the grand piano. We grilled on the deck & had s’mores at the outdoor fireplace. Master suite is huge, beautiful shower and tub & private deck. Everyone enjoyed the home & surroundings very much! We got beautiful photos & will have wonderful memories of our week! It was so luxurious with places people could be by themselves plus large rooms for family gatherings!

We had a gathering of 8 adults and our 6 grandkids ( all under age 6) the last week August . Our adult kids wanted to vacation in the mountains instead of our usual beach trip and this vacation did not disappoint! The many highlights of this home for our families were the great expansive kitchen with everything we needed for food and beverage prep, the large porches & furniture for gathering, the scenic infinity pool , the picturesque landscape and a master bedroom with enormous closets big enough to house 2 port- a cribs. Our weather was fantastic so most of the time we were on the porch, pool or perusing the land. We fished, hiked, rode bikes, played Pickleball on the property’s tennis courts. We all had so much fun at Mt. Airy Farm that we only went to Asheville one day- visiting 2 parks and breweries. This venue is ideal for weddings/receptions but also works for gathering multiple couples and kids. The blender was on its last leg but otherwise the kitchen is well equipped. The pool makes beautiful memories and scenic pictures. A fence would detract so we made sure to watch the small children carefully and insist they wear flotation devices. The hot tub in the pool and the shallow areas were perfect for those learning to swim. We never had any problems and never needed the property manager or caretaker but their contact info was provided in a nice notebook with details about the pool and the house. We all agreed this house is a keeper & we plan to return.

We hosted our wedding at Mt Airy Farm. It was an incredible venue, breathtaking views and plenty of space for guests. We had our immediate family staying in the house and it was very comfortable for everyone. The house has a ton of amenities, from pots/pans to the sauna and hot tub. Cole was very responsive to all my questions, as was Nicole before staying at the house. Can't recommend this house more, we will be staying again!

The house was beyond amazing! The views are breathtaking and the caretakers on-site are extremely helpful. Not only do they answer your questions quickly and efficiently, they make sure your stay is comfortable. My husband and I got married here and everyone talked about how amazing the house and views were. It surpassed all of my expectations. Needless to say we will be coming back!

This home provided the perfect setting for our family gathering who were attending a wedding in Asheville. The large spacious living room, dining area and kitchen provided for a perfect venue to entertain guests. Of course the amenities, like the hot tube, sauna and tennis court were a big hit with all of our family. And, the master bedroom was incredible. Communication with the hosts was excellent. Our questions were answered promptly by Nicole and she was also very helpful providing some catering options for a small reception we held at the house after the wedding. And Cole, the on site caregiver of the property, was extremely helpful and responded quickly to all our questions and requests. And, be prepared to take a lot of photos. The views were stunning. Our stay at Mount Airy Farm provided a lifetime of memories and we hope to return for another family gathering.

Fantastic property! Spacious place for our family of 11 and sometimes as many as 20 for meals. The kids loved the hot tub and pool (even in October)! Lots of room for everyone to eat together or sit and talk on the porch or living room. Beautiful views of the mountains. The longer we stayed, the more we loved the house and grounds.

Our pickle ball loving group of 12 adults loved our stay! Views from every window were beautiful. Pictures and description of propriety are representative of what it looks like. We enjoyed preparing our meals together in the large kitchen and dining area. We spent many evenings on the patio and laughing by the outdoor fireplace. The hot tub and infinity pool providing lots of hours of relaxation after playing pickleball and when we returned from our hikes! Lots to do in the area. Only negative - patio furniture and cushions need immediate attention and refreshing. House could use some deep cleaning and minor repairs but wouldn’t prevent us from renting this property again. Anytime we had an issue the property managers were easily accessible and accommodating. Stay here, you’ll love it.

Stunning mountain views from front and back of property. Accommodated 50 guests comfortably for ceremony, reception, and welcome party. The caretakers live in a separate guest house on the property and were very helpful with anything we needed (thank you). Staying for 4 nights gave us time to relax and enjoy the pool and spa after the wedding. If you're looking for a mountain wedding venue, look no further!

The infinity pool hot tub situation is THE BOMB. This house was incredible, beautiful kitchen, INSANE master bathroom aka a spa. 11/10 would love to stay here again.

We stayed the whole first week of February for our wedding. The place has a beautiful scenery. This property is a place where your family or friends wants to relax, enjoy the view, and able to enjoy the other amenities. However, there are some few downside during our stay especially on our wedding day, which something that should’ve been taking care of in the first place, before we arrived. Cole, the care taker was a little helpful at first and the manager, Mark was able to handle the situation. We definitely wants to come back to this property and we just hope in our next visit it won’t happy again.

We had our wedding weekened here, the house was perfect, beautiful kitchen, great sized bedrooms, enough bathrooms (which is always a problem). You can't beat these views. The property left you speechless! Cole was fantastic getting us fire wood so we could enjoy the huge fire place outside. We talked about making this a yearly trip; we would recommended time and time again.

My husband and I got married here this weekend and had the absolute time of our lives! The property is stunning, the pool and deck area is amazing, and the inside is so beautiful. The master suite was a dream to get ready with my bridesmaids and the beds were so comfy! Any questions we had were quickly answered and the check in/check out process was simple. We absolutely plan on returning in the future with our family and friends. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Mt. Airy Farm is exceptional! The views are simply magnificent -- from the back and front of the property! We all spent hours just enjoying them! And there is so much to do! The infinity pool and spa is spectacular! The tennis court is so nice -- and the basketball goals were an added treat! We spent most nights enjoying the large outdoor fireplace, roasting marshmellows and making s'mores. Our toddler really liked the basement toy area and the adults liked the ping pong table. The master suite is insanely huge, but we all enjoyed showering there -- the views are just so amazing! The property even has a little kitty, and we fed her often! The trip into Asheville was a quick 20 minutes. But we only ventured there a couple of times, not wanting to leave Mt. Airy Farm! Kristin was terrific answering all questions. And the new caretaker was kind enough to show us the property. We would love to return to Mt. Airy Farm!

We got married here in August, and everything about the house, the property, and the view was absolutely perfect! Kristin was always very responsive and helpful, the house was spotless and well-kept, and that pool cannot be beat. All around an amazing experience, and everyone wants to come back for another friends trip in the future.

The must awesome pool we have ever seen! The infinite pool had unbelievable views sunrise, afternoon and sunset! The tennis courts were put to good use also!

This property is beautiful. The pool is unprecedented...the absolute most beautiful setting for a pool ever. The infinity pool fits so nicely into the beautiful setting it is in. There are a few minor issues...the cell phone coverage is sketchy. Some of the girls thought the home could use a bit of a facelift when it comes to decorations, lighting, and rugs; but all things considered I would highly recommend the property!! It is absolutely beautiful and the caretakers were very kind and tried to be as helpful as possible!

Yes, the location was terrific. We enjoyed the time immensely and the staff was attentive. That said, here are some notes: (1) the house needs a DEEP CLEANING desperately. Elizabeth is good but it is too much for her to deep clean. (2) Several aspects of repair are required on all three floors. (3) Carpet and drapes in a few places need replacement. (4) Some furniture is in disrepair. (5) Shower in bathroom off the kitchen needs to be replaced (6) Shades do not work in the master suite upstairs. Would help with morning sun (7) Control for the pool and hot tub is difficult to use and make sure heat is off. Thank you. Dr. Meyers

We loved our little getaway! The estate was so beautiful, and we felt so relaxed and happy. Although the pool was cold, the weather worked in our favor and kids enjoyed every moment spent in the pool!The only thing I would recommend is sharing this place with others so that they can also enjoy the beauty of this estate!
