We stayed for two nights, would have loved more! A quaint setting with trees and lovely grounds to walk our dog around. Every detail was accounted for by the hosts down to the linens, kitchen spices, and all we could ask for! Dave and Karen are super nice and very available if we had needed anything. The reviews are correct on this property!

The cottage was roomy and spotless. Beautiful view of the garden and meadow from the comfortable deck. Kitchen was fully equipped with all we needed. Dave made checkin easy by meeting us on arrival. And Karen came by to say Hi. They are truly the best. We will be back!

The Hideaway cottage is absolutely wonderful! Even better than described. We spent 2 great weeks at the cottage enjoying some Monsoon weather, exploring the area and relaxing. There were so many extra special touches that made the Cottage so welcoming. Beautiful property, great outdoor living space as well as very comfortable indoor space. We are already planning our next trip here in a few months. Thank you Dave and Karen - Superhosts for sure!

Our stay at Dave and Karen‘s place was amazing. We live in Tucson and just wanted to get away to a little bit cooler weather. The cottage was so well supplied, clean, and super cozy. The surrounding grounds are beautiful. We would definitely stay again!?

We were in town for a softball tournament and decided to stay here rather than hotel since we have 2 children. The home was clean and cozy. We enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend.

We have stayed here several times. It is private yet within walking distance to grocery stores and several restaurants. Karen and Dave are very welcoming and responsive. They spend a lot of time tending the property/gardens and keeping the hummingbird feeders filled. Always an enjoyable stay!

Very clean cottage in good area. Shaded so keeps it cool inside. Well stocked with everything you need, and nice porch and patio for relaxing in the evening. Didn’t realize when I booked that there are 4 rentals right next to each other, but privacy wasn’t an issue. Nice to be able to bike and hike right from the door.

We stayed at this adorable place for only three nights but it will be our home away from home from now on when in Prescott. The place is on a 1.6 acre well loved and tended property which includes three other cabins so a family of several could consider it for a family reunion easily. The hosts think of everything and each small touch just says love and pride. It is right in town and we would not have believed that we could feel so secluded and away from the world but they have achieved it with their property. Thank you to two lovely people. We will be back.

The owners go all out. There was nothing to be needed in the cabin. If you forget a tooth brush, well there is a new one there. All the soap and cleaning stuff you need. The appliances all work great and the home itself you can tell is well cared for. Quiet at night.. great TV and internet available. Only thing i can say is that one of the two beds was a little short.. probably fine for a kid or a shorter adult (im 6') but the main bed was fine. You get to park right utside the home.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was very charming. There was a garden area in front of the cottage with a creek running through. The hosts met us to check in and gave us some recommendations for tourist activities and restaurants. The location was only a mile from the historic downtown.

The house we stayed in was spacious, but a the same time cozy. We really appreciated the many bird books and books on Arizona history. The kitchen was set up well for the cooking we did. We will always stay at this place when in town.

2nd time staying....didnt think it could be any better than last time give it was awesome....but once again, amazing kind welcoming people. Cottage is immaculate. The housekeeper is lovely. The owners are lovely. Cant wait to go again.

Karen and Dave are terrific hosts. We didn’t really have much need for interaction with them but they always made themselves available and are very friendly. We are more city folk, rather than country folk, so the cottage was not really what we were looking for in terms of overall environment. The cottage is tucked back in a wooded acreage which offers lots of wildlife and outdoor surroundings. So if that’s what you are looking for, you will find it here. The queen size bed was comfortable; and the kitchen is well stocked with spices, condiments and cooking supplies. A water filter/pitcher was provided, as well as a great guide book for things to do in the area and restaurant recommendations. There was even a very considerate welcoming gift.

Return visit for us. Lovely outdoor setting with plenty of blooms and birds. Kitchen is fully equipped. Our coffee maker even had a coffee bean grinder, which is a plus for my hubby! Dave and Karen responded quickly to any needs that we had. It is convenient to grocery and lovely Italian restaurant. An enjoyable walk for those that enjoy walking.

My husband & I really enjoyed this property. It was clean, bright & comfortable & was extremely well supplied. It was a pleasure dealing with Karen & Dave & it was obvious that they take great pride in their property. A welcoming gift was left for us which we enjoyed & very much appreciated. We would not hesitate to recommend this property & would happily stay here again if we were return to Prescott. This was a a beautiful and well styled 2 bedroom house that was so much more than expected. Dave and his wife were wonderful hosts and helped us in every way. I can’t thank them enough. We were looking for a location somewhat near Sedona, AZ. Prescott is conveniently located near Sedona, Grand Canyon, Phoenix and Flagstaff.
Our stay at Prescott hideaway was great. The hosts are awesome, good communication and always around the property. There is everything you need in the rental property, it was clean and welcoming. We appreciate the little touch like fresh flowers in vases inside and outside as well. It’s a quiet location within a nice neighborhood.
