We stayed in April with 6 adults ranging in age from 50 to 80. This is a great home for multiple couples and would also have lots of room for kids & teens. The pool area and lanai are fantastic and we spent a lot of our time out there. The bedrooms are arranged so there is lots of space and privacy between parties. One bedroom is really an in-law suite with kitchen and dining room. There are 2 living room areas. air hockey in the garage. So whether your family wants to spend every minute together or spread out and have some quiet time, this is the perfect house for you. The neighborhood is quiet and I enjoyed morning walks in it. It is also a great location. We even rented a boat and kept it at the dock. Super fun stay! Chris was very responsive to questions and the house was very well appointed with thoughtful touches everywhere.

Our family group is us, grandparents, our 2 Daughters, 2 SIL’s, 3 eating machine grandsons, and dainty granddaughter. There were perfect accommodations for all! Space galore, 3 refrigerators we packed full. Outdoor space amazing, pool temp, boating on the river. Would do again in a heartbeat.

Wonderful home right on the river. Close to groceries and restaurants. Pool was fabulous. Neighborhood was quiet and wonderful to walk in. Great location for pets. Kayaking the many canals and inlets was the highlight of our trip. Always able to find manatees and many birds. Even saw 2 alligators. Home was clean and well stocked with kitchen supplies, bathroom essentials, even shampoo and body wash. Owner answered all messages promptly and handled our concerns in a timely manner. Would highly recommend this property for short or long stay. We stayed one month.

Our family of 14 had a wonderful stay and time. The home was very clean and fit all of our needs. We experienced some rain but that was ok for the house had games to play for kids and adults. As well as bumper pool and air hockey kept them entertained. Definitely would go back again. Thank you Chris, for always responding quickly to our questions.

We had a group of 12 - 6 adults and 6 kids. This house was absolutely perfect for our crew! The bunk room was great for our boys and the mother-in-law suite was perfect for our teen girls to have some privacy. The pool and screened in patio were wonderful, and we used that space often. We used the paddle boards and kayaks and explored the area. The house was clean and the owner responded to issues promptly! Overall, very pleased with our stay. We swam with the manatees, but felt that Crystal River didn’t have a ton of other activities.

Nice place that is in a good location. Lacked a couple things, but nothing that bothered us. Some light switches need to be fixed. Had issues with the pool heater but owner got that handled asap. Overall nice place for our family

Over the years, I have rented several homes in Crystal River, I have never been so pleased as I was this past visit. Chris, the owner is readily available to answer questions prior to our stay as well as during our stay. He goes the extra mile to make sure our needs were met. The house is fantastic for a group of friends or family. Each bedroom is well designed and the shared living space is simply perfect. The kitchen is outfitted with everything we needed, new appliances and granite counter tops. Outdoors you will find a fleet of kayaks, a great barbecue station, a fire pit and plenty of outdoor waterfront seating. The screened in heated pool is fabulous! This is truly a 5 start stay on Crystal River!

This house is amazing! We had 12 adults and1 child. There was plenty of room for everyone. The pool was warm, the view cannot be beat. We used the provided kayaks and paddle boards to swim with the manatees. The fishing was great from the dock. Huge TVs, two refrigerators, great heating and AC,{yes we used both}. The dining room table was large enough to seat all of us. I just can;t say enough good things about this house. This was our second stay, we will be back again. Our extended family enjoyed vacationing in this spacious home on the water with a dock. Lots of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy themselves. The kids used the pool every day. The location is central to Nature Coast area activities including viewing/snorkeling with manatees, air boat rides, Weekee Wachi mermaids, kayaking from the house, beach and birdwatching. Recently renovated with all new appliances. The fire pit was also a nice touch.

We booked this VRBO early this year to share a an early Christmas gift with family. It is in a great location on the water which our fishermen loved but we did have major problems with noseeum bugs. We notified Chris of the bugs along with an issue with slow drainage in the kitchen sink, a completely stopped up bathroom sink, holes in the walls, the pool light and one of the lights on the patio didn’t work, and a rear door handle with no catch mechanism so we had to lock it to keep it closed. The very next day, Chris had citronella candles, bracelets and bug spray delivered to the property. It was then we learned the home was damaged in a hurricane in August and we were the first occupants after the home had been redone. Had we been made aware of that fact when it happened we may have considered other options. We did enjoy some family time at the house but it was difficult for the kids to swim in the pool at night without any lights, the interior of the pool is very dark. Everyone was disappointed that the air hockey table described in the listing wasn’t there and all 9 of us were eaten up with bug bites and the screened in patio doors had gaps in them. It was also difficult to have a 14 month old crawling around when there were numerous holes in the walls, most with electrical wiring in them. Chris was nice but the house really needed to be finished before rented. The last day there was a leak in the master bath sink that soaked the towels under the vanity.

This gorgeous house was perfect with plenty of space!! If you are looking for a house for a gathering, this is definitely the place! The pictures don’t do it justice! We all had a fabulous time and even booked this house again for next year. I highly recommend booking and the owner had great communication too!

This was our 4th year staying in this house. We have had so much fun here and made lots of great memories. Best rental house in Crystal River.

The house is perfect for our large group. Very spacious and plenty of bathrooms. We didn’t have the best weather to go scalloping so we were at the house much more than intended and it was very fun, between swimming in the pool, fishing off the dock, and playing cards inside during the storm. Upon checking in we thought we didn’t have hot water so we reached out to the property manager who was nice, respinsive and got someone out to help in minutes and addressed the concern. Also the A/C worked very well and house was equipped with all the kitchen items you need to cook for a large group. We will be rebooking this house in the future.

The property was large and spacious. The description is accurate and did not disappoint. We were not crowded. There was plenty of room to spread out. There was plenty of everything needed: dishes, towels, ect. We will plan to come back next year!

We love this property. If you ever want to sell it call me. We enjoy the house but the location on the river is perfect. We love to sit outside and watch the Sunrise with Coffee and watch the boats go by. This is Perfect.

Love this place right on the river. The new outside deck with firepit and walkway to the dock was awesome!! All the beds are comfortable in spacious rooms. We will definitely come back to fish and stay at this house!

The house is perfectly laid out for large groups. Our family of 11, plus 2 dogs, was kept entertained and comfortable the entire time. We were able to see manatees, dolphins and turtles all from the dock. Our family didn't want to leave! It was the perfect place to celebrate our son and our niece graduating. From the large pool, card games, jenga, watching the local wildlife, pool table and air hockey table, kayaks and paddle boards, the entire family was able to find something to do. The private docks, made it easy for docking our boat and heading out on the water for amazing views and fishing. Thank you Chris for helping us make this trip so memorable!!

Ideal property for family holidays. Fully equipped with everything you could need. Great pool. Supermarket and restaurants just a short ride away. Chris the property host was very helpful. We loved our visit to Homosassa Springs to see the Manatees and a Backcountry air boat ride to see dolphins. Perfect!

This was a great house to rent while in Crystal River. It was beautiful, spacious, on the water, great location, had everything you would need while staying there. If you are looking for a great place for a large family or friends this, is it. We rented a pontoon boat one day as we do every year we go, and it was nice to dock up at the house grab our stuff and go. The same when we were done for the day, we dropped everything off and drove the boat back to the marina which is only about a mile up the street. All great things and we are already planning to rent the house again next time we decide to go to Crystal River.

The house has all the amenities you can ask for and is very well-maintained. The house had more space than we even needed an could easily accommodate multiple families. The view is absolutely amazing and we enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the water. The pool is large and the perfect temperature for night swims. We brought a boat and kept it at the dock for easy access. For anyone thinking of bringing a boat, be aware that this is not an idle zone and the wakes from passing boats can be an issue if you don't tie your boat up correctly. It's not a big problem but something to keep in mind. Chris was a wonderful host and I would definitely stay here again.

First time VRBO user. Loved this house and the location. Didn’t want to leave and next time I want to stay for two weeks. Communication with the owner and the property manager was outstanding.

We had four generations of family with us on this trip and the home worked perfectly for us. Everyone had their own bathroom and the extra large dining room table meant we could all sit and eat together. The pool was so warm and we went down 10 minutes down the road to Fort Island beach to watch the sunsets. ALL the beds were very comfortable and having three thermostats in the home meant everyone was very comfortable in the evenings. Would definitely stay here again and again and again.

Had a wonderful stay at the Manatee Manor. Beautiful views of the river and the heated pool was well used. The unit was spacious for a group of 8, with 4 private bedrooms and a backup bunk room. Plenty of furniture inside and out. The owner was responsive to our needs. Thank you Chris.

I own a kayak tour company and we stay at VRBO properties 6 to 8 times a year from 3 days to 8 days at a time. This home is one of the nicest we have stayed at over the years. The location is perfect for paddling right from the back yard. The floor plan allows for socializing but also has room to spread out. The kitchen is better equipped than most of the houses we stay at and this might be the only place we have ever rented that had enough towels and washcloths. The only negative that we had was the cleaning crew was a bit lax after the last quest. When I let the owner know he immediately offered to send them back.. Prompt response to concerns is always a major plus when renting. We will be back again.

We have found an incredible home located on Crystal River. We could not have been happier. Our host, Chris was easy to reach and very accommodating. The bedrooms were beautiful and fit the online description, no surprises at all! As you enter the home, you feel the expanse as you look out towards a beautiful pool and yard. Chris made special additions such as a cosy area to enjoy a fire at night, a fantastic addition. The home was perfect for a larger group of friends or family. While we were busy recreating each day, the grounds offered well maintained kayaks and paddle boards as well as a beautiful dock. Without any hesitation, I would highly recommend a stay at this incredible home on the river!
