I can sum up this place and our stay with one word…..

It was everything we hoped to experience for our 43rd wedding anniversary. Solitary and private - but not isolated
Beautiful interior that is built as an invitation to relax, decor and furniture wonderful.
The breeze coming into our bedroom each night was like a tropical lullaby and the occasional rainfall added to the music.
The outside yard and landscaping- well it felt like we were alone in a gentle jungle Dozens of flower varieties. Birdsong. Shaded and cool all
day.
Cute little hot tub which we took advantage of a few nights under the scudding clouds and moon and palm trees was wonderful
Location was perfect. Minutes away from Hanalei
and Princeville, botanical gardens, and eateries.
We walked to Quarry Beach several times to watch the sun go down in quiet reverence
Bruce very was cordial and helpful, a low key landlord ready to help but astute enough to give us all the space we needed
If you want an experience and not a condo, an adventure not a crowded resort ….this is the place. Authentic and real and one of a kind

Absolutely amazing. The owners are great. The property is beautiful. Its an oasis within itself. A cute little beach within minutes where you can swim in the ocean or in a cool pristine river. Well worth the stay.

We had a great relaxing time in this private cabin hideaway! So much better than a hotel room in one of those “resorts”. If you like relaxing in your own private place, then this is for you.
Only negative was the weather, (a Kona low, bringing flooding rains) which kept us off the beaches for a few days.

Lovely private “cabin” with hot tub that was so appreciated after a couple of hiking days. The pick up and drop off at the airport ensured a smooth check in and departure.

check-in was a breeze, the cottage is well stocked with everything you need and in a great location. It was quiet and peaceful. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again!

The bungalow has everything you could ever need. Its secluded and quiet (except for the ever present Kauai roosters) and private. You can walk to the most spectacular secluded beach, where you can surf big waves and there's a place for kids to play in the gentle water. Bruce was a lovely host and his property and farm are glorious. I highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at Bruce’s farm! Photos don’t do it justice. We loved being situated in Kilauea for all of our activities. Bruce was a helpful and communicative host. Would definitely return!

Bruce has done an amazing job of creating an oasis on the farm. Twin Hearts is tucked away and feels surprisingly private. The setting, the location, the whole vibe makes for a wonderful stay!

Amazing little place that gives the feeling of being secluded in tropical garden yet is close to many activities. Short walk to local beach for those days you want to take it easy and stay close to home. Easy access to Princeville and beaches on the north shore. Host is very welcoming and has a wealth of knowledge about the island.

My husband, infant son and myself booked a last minute trip to the island and were lucky enough to swoop up an opening on Bruce and Cyndee’s calendar. Communication was great, and Bruce offered us a rental which was perfect for our stay (and a hot commodity given rates and availability on Kauai). He also personally shuttled us to and from Lihue for a fee which was both informative and convenient. The property is gorgeous as many have stated. Thoughtfully done, and matches the overall vibe of the island with proper amenities to boot. In the home, we enjoyed the gecko visitors and were definitely loved by the bugs (but that was all expected for the climate). We do appreciate the low-toxic grounds! It is a short distance to markets and restaurants, and a little drive to more touristy spots. The beach/lagoon down the street was perfect for us. Bruce had a ton of other great recommendations too. The space was overall excellent and worked well for our small family. Anyone lucky enough to stay at the cottage will love the local feel and aesthetic. Highly recommend.

This is a wonderful property for a couple or small family. We were surrounded by natural beauty - trees, flowers, wildlife… there is an amazing beach with a neat little lagoon just a 15 minute walk or 3 minute drive away. It’s super close to a lot of cool things on the North side of the island (hiking, beaches, dining, shopping, even a national wildlife refuge). Great first experience on Kauai
This is a wonderful property for a couple or small family. We were surrounded by natural beauty - trees, flowers, wildlife… there is an amazing beach with a neat little lagoon just a 15 minute walk or 3 minute drive away. Private Farmstay Retreat
We stayed here 3 weeks and used it as a writer’s retreat and as a base from which to go snorkeling and sight seeing .
Anyone visiting Kauai and living in rural lodgings needs to get used to roosters crowing at 4:30 am, geckos inside and out , lawns being mowed, and mosquitos. We did but it took some time. There is no a/c but there was usually a lovely breeze and the cottage is well-shaded. Loved sitting in the hot tub while looking at the amazing star-filled night sky . The cottage really has everything you need for a great vacation, including great hosts !

The photos in this listing don't do justice to the beauty of the place. The cabin is just beautifully appointed. Amazing woodwork and furnishings. It's private, while on the property of a wonderful organic family farm. We enjoyed the hot tub, the porch, walks to the beach and the sounds of birds as well as the cheers of the weekly softball game. The town is wondeful and we ate out a couple of times (felt Covid safe) and cooked on the grill and a little two-burner stove. Comfy, rejuvenating. Couldn't have been better.

We had a great time staying at this cottage! It was very quiet and peaceful, surrounded by trees and plants; a great place to return to after a busy day exploring the island! There was plenty of space, and it was nice to have the hot tub to relax in outside as well!
The location is great on the North Coast, only a 5 minute drive away from the nearest town which has a grocery store, coffee shops, and restaurants. Also near lots of great beaches.
I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Kauai!

We had a great time staying at this cottage! It was very quiet and peaceful, surrounded by trees and plants; a great place to return to after a busy day exploring the island! There was plenty of space, and it was nice to have the hot tub to relax in outside as well!
The location is great on the North Coast, only a 5 minute drive away from the nearest town which has a grocery store, coffee shops, and restaurants. Also near lots of great beaches.
I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Kauai!

They were amazing.
Every Friday evening they played softball nearby, and it was fun to see/hear that. They finished at dark, so it wasn’t intrusive at all. We have stayed all around the island, and this is the best location for summer. It rains, but that is short-lived and cools everything down.
The place is “organic”. This means no pesticides. That means you will have to deal with things like ants and geckos. If you can’t deal with that, don’t stay here. It’s really not a big deal though, and we thoroughly recommend this location. We will be back, assuming Bruce and Cyndee will have us. Mahalo.

It was so relaxing to stay there and wish we could of stayed longer but we had to come back early due to COVID-19. We hope to return very soon.

A private little slice of heaven
Peaceful, quiet and has all the necessities you need. We took advantage of the kayak, boogie boards, hot tub and snorkel gear. It saved us money and the hassle of renting that stuff. Also a nice location to explore the island. I’d stay here again in a heart beat.

The location was great and the house perfect for a couple getting away. It was nice and quiet as we hoped. The amenities were comprehensive and everything needed was in place.

Charming cabin - felt like living in the Rain Forest
Very charming cabin - gorgeous view at the trees from inside through the almost panoramic windows layout. We loved all the decorations and shades, it all felt like living in the rain forest.
The owner left a basket of gorgeous perfectly ripe fruit for us (we only realized towards the end of the stay that they were real ! lol), and he came for a chat to give us hints on navigating through the island. We could also buy super organic and fresh produce from the owner's farm , left by the gate with honesty box (so nice an laid back).
There were many cooling fans inside the cabin, but no air conditioning - so if that's important to you then be aware.
We had a great time, and we played with the sweet kitty called curly living outside. And the beach was just 15 minutes walking distance .

Just awesome!
This house is as beautiful as it gets. It's obvious that Bruce and Cyndee take extra good care of it and pay attention to every little detail. There was nothing that wasn't provided and thought out. It's private and within walking distance to a beautiful beach. Thank you to Bruce and Cyndee for carving out a little piece of paradise for others.

Amazing!
This place was amazing! Loved the location. Very tropical and well maintained grounds. Place was clean and very relaxing. Loved the beach down the street. Hot tub came in very handy after our hikes in the canyon. Highly recommend renting this place. It was perfect for our 25th Anniversary!
