the family who lives here were so accommodating and quick to help. they spoke to us in slow and clear Spanish which we really appreciated because we’re still learning. the kitchen had everything we needed, and the homestay is in a pretty quiet area.

Very nice family! It’s not a Hostel, it’s a Homestay with a beautiful view over the lake and Indian Nose. You get to know the family. Kids are playing around. Very friendly little dog and a cat is there too. Marisa the Host and her Mom are very great people, always friendly and helpful. I loved them, also the kids.

If you are scared of Insects of any kind, then don’t stay downstairs in the private rooms. I assume upstairs in the main house it’s not a big deal. No hot water and low pressure in the bathroom. Nothing in the room to put stuff in or on it, no cabinets.

Everyone was really friendly and helpful. Our room has more facilities than advertised and it had amazing views of the surrounding area.

The location pin on booking.com isn't accurate, but Julio was kind enough to come find us and guide us to the right street. Google "Casa Guillermo Batz SPLL" for the correct location. I think since they seem fairly new to Booking.com, some of the information didn't match up. I think there was also some confusion on the price of the room also, where booking.com stated that our price included the taxes, but then the tax was added on again at the property.
