This was our second stay at this beautiful house! Can't wait to stay there again Next Year!

Perfect for our family to get together and enjoy a long weekend in the mountains. The cabin was equipped with everything we needed. Our first time using VBRO, but not our last! We hope to use this same property again!

Great mountain cabin for friends to celebrate NYE 2020. Convenient to Blowing Rock. Lots of beds to friends and kids. Main living room a little small but cozy.

High up in the beautiful mountains of NC. It would be an understatement to say there was plenty of room for all 10 of us. Beautiful peaceful home and close to downtown everything. Wonderful experience!

We had a wonderful family time at Mt Sinai. We enjoyed the view. The cabin was beautiful and very well kept. The necessary home items was appreciated as the crock pot, we cooked chili on cool rainy day. It rained 3 out of the 4 days we were there. So the big porch was wonderful so we could sit outside and enjoy the view even in the rain. Thank you very much and we will do this again. The Tanner Family.

It was 3 couples and my small dog. Each of the couple's had a own floor with bedroom and bathroom. Nice porch to hang out and fire place to gather. Dishes and kitchen well stuffed. Thank you. Oh yes great location.

We had a great time. Lots of room and very well stocked with household items.

First the pros: there are a lot of beds and you could fit a lot of people in here! (We had just a small group, though.) It's centrally located, about 5 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway and 12 minutes from Boone restaurants and grocery stores. The hosts certainly seemed well intentioned and provided dishwasher detergent, soap and a fresh sponge. Thank you! The cons: I'm sorry to write that it felt damp and musty. The cabinets and tile floors were sticky. The headline of the property was "Newly Renovated!" But in the middle of the listing, it says the basement. You might skip over this if reading quickly. Along that same lines, the description read: "Enjoy an afternoon spent rocking on the covered porch, while overlooking rolling hills featuring cows and a red barn. This is a serene view you won’t want to leave." You cannot see the said hills or cows. There are of trees all along the front and back of the house and are quite thick. Trees are nice in their own way. Just don't expect expansive views (or light) from the porch. Also, it was hard to find a place to store groceries or luggage. Kitchen cabinets and drawer were jam packed and surfaces elsewhere had tchotchkes on them. Overall, I would recommend this place, but just know what you're getting.

Close to everything and it provided space for us to gather & spaces for privacy/quiet time. Would have received 5 stars had ac worked properly. Luckily the weather was mild. Would definitely stay again.

Mt. Sinai cabin is very beautiful and clean as advertised. We visited here from Orlando, FL during Christmas week with family and friends. All of us enjoyed the stay and had enough room for everyone. The location is awesome and very close to all major attractions especially the Apalachiean Ski Mountain. We enjoyed the camp fire in the firepit outside. We love to visti here again. Nice property in convenient location. Lots of beds and bathrooms. This cabin has 2 common areas for gathering and spending time together. It would have worked better for us, if there was a larger space for everyone to hang out. The kitchen is small but adequate . We did lots of cooking and could have used more space. Overall it is a good house for lots of family to get together.

Nice cabin, finished basement ideal for a large family plus first floor master suite and two bedrooms on the second floor worked quite well for us, children and grandchildren. Well furnished kitchen. Very clean and comfortable furnishings.

We rented this house for my daughter for her and her bridesmaids for her wedding. It was beautiful and so much space for sleeping, relaxing much more. So beautiful!!

Mount Sinai is extraordinary. My granddaughter graduated from ASU on the weekend of our stay. As a gift, she asked that all her family stay together to celebrate her accomplishment, so we had parents, grandparents, a sister, a cousin, an uncle and aunts...a crowd. The accommodations were perfect and everything in the description of the property is certainly accurate. The linens were exceptional and plentiful; the kitchen definitely well-equipped. The property is very clean and well-maintained. We loved the deck and the wonderful porch swing in the evening. The cabin is "in the mountains" and of course the Parkway is beautiful, but Mount Sinai is convenient to town and ASU. Absolutely no complaints...just thankful for a wonderful stay and for excellent communication with both property owner and manager.

Went snow tubing at Hawksnest with the family. Had a great time.

This beautiful home is exactly what I was hoping for when I reserved this for our stay in the Blowing Rock/ Boone area!! The house has plenty of room perfect for relaxing and spending time with our family!! Every attention to detail is apparent in every aspect of this home, it truly was our home away from home!! It is conveniently located to Blowing Rock and Boone so we had plenty of shopping and restaurants to choose from! My only regret it that we couldn't stay longer!! We look forward to returning in the future to make more memories with our friends and family!!! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!!

Beautiful cabin and stay for Christmas in Boone. The first 2 days it snowed and while the roads leading to the cabin are steep and curving, they did an excellent job of treating the roads and keeping the driveway dry. We had no issues with ice on the roads. I think our one concern were the stairs in the house: they are steep and slippery. I would recommend keeping older adults on the main floor as there were some slips on the stairs. However, this was a wonderful cabin and was perfectly decorated for Christmas. We were 13 minutes from Publix and just a short drive to Boone and Blowing Rock so family could explore around. All in all, this was an excellent Christmas in very nice cabin. Thank you all!!

The property was all it was represented to be and we were very comfortable. We arrived at 4 PM on a Friday after the area had received 20 inches of snow earlier in the week. Had checked and been told the roads were clear and all would be well for our arrival. The ROADS were clear but snow had been plowed across the end of the driveway by those clearing the roads. As well, the driveway was impassable. Quickly called and making a long story short, the driveway was plowed at 5 PM as darkness fell while we went off and secured a take out dinner. The plowman also cleared the path, the steps, and porch right to the door. We greatly appreciated the availabity and quick response of the owner and agent. Securing alternate lodging would have been tricky as it was graduation weekend at nearby Appalachian State University.

We book the cabin online and any help we needed was given in a timely manner. The only negative experience we encountered was our CPS took us in with a lot of turns, narrow roads, and knew that we would not know how to get back out, We arrive a few minutes early and met John (the care taker of the property), He was finishing up getting the cabin ready, I discussed with him my concern with getting back out to Boone, and he gave us directions that were easy to follow and we realized that we were close to Tweetsie Railroad, and Boone. He was very polite, pleasent to meet, very helpful with the few questions we had, and even gave me his cell number and told me that if I needed anything to give him a call.The cabin was very clean, well equiped, and very spacous.The cabin was in a very peaceful location and conviently located to places we wanted to visit during our stay. I would recomend to anyone.

Cabin was well equipped for our group. Plenty of seating and fridge space for eating and preparing meals for larger groups. Location was very convenient for our outings to Blowing Rock, Boone, Tweetsie, Moses Cone Park, etc. Only difficulty was that the house number was a little hard to see initially from the main road and some navigation programs were better able to pinpoint the house than others. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This is a great cabin, we truly enjoyed our stay. Lots of seating for everyone in a large group; living room, porch, and basement all had lots of space. Comfortable bedroom and bathroom layout.
