Unit had some minor maintenance issues, but nothing that effected our stay. Water dispenser on refrigerator was slow and the ice maker didn't work. However an ice making machine was provided. Management company responded quickly when notified. Due to the high tide we had no beach, but it was a short walk/drive to get to sand and surf. The beach was very nice and clean. The location was close to everything and parking was good. Only wish we had known to bring firewood for the firepit. We love Oceanside and Beachfront Only has always provided us with wonderful accommodations.

There were steps down to the water through the large boulders but then there was smaller rocks probably for erosion control so no sand for the kids to play in. WE walked to the pier area and had a blast in the sand and water. The Tin Fish has excellent fish tacos and hamburgers. REally enjoyed this trip. The Beach Front Only experience was excellent.

High hard waves that slapped ragged rocks. No beach area whatsoever. We worried the whole time that the younger ones would end up in the water because with how violent the waves were they would have been hurt or dead We had birds in the attic that we listened to 24/7. We calmed the 2nd day talked to a live person. But no one responded. Parking had 2 places for cars. We had to parallel park on the driveway. Pray we didn’t get towed. Also checking time is 400 pm. Not a minute earlier. Door lock didn’t work. Waited 45 minutes for someone to come out and he was nice but said it always has problems. (Y aren’t they fixing ). Checkout time is 1000 am so if u rent it plan on getting a full day less than what they say.

The yard was not clean, there were very loud construction noises from next door and we didn’t receive any help or understanding when we were blocked in the garage by a car. Really wish the customer service was as good as the unit itself

There is a large, well stocked kitchen. We had called ahead asking if there was a crock pot and were told no, so we brought our own. There was a crock pot. Upon arrival on Thursday, I called with some issues-no screen on living room sliding door (many missing screens, but the living room was critical-we had to choose between the cool breeze with bugs or stuffy and warm without bugs);the master bedroom had no TV despite all photos showing one. Our three generation family group, in a 4 bedroom unit, expected and needs more than one TV. With my daily texts and phone calls, on the 6th day of our 8 day stay, an additional TV was finally provided. We never got a screen door for the living room slider. The carpeting in the living room was filthy, stained and loose, although the pictures show nice wood flooring. The air conditioning consists of small wall units on timers. It appears that a remodel is pending (permit posted on garage) and they have apparently decided to not repair/replace anything. I was told repeatedly when I called that someone would call me back but that never happened. Texting seems to be their preferred method of communication. This unit is run down and lacking maintenance.

Down sides for such a big house very small bathrooms,the master bedroom had a horrible smell of maybe "MOLD", stained dirty carpet, dishwasher was falling forward, patio furniture very weather and ripped. This property needs some TLC. Over all the family had a great time but the price is not worth the property.

Old stained carpet not shown in listing, duct taped threshold, uncomfortable bed, understocked kitchen, dishwasher that falls forward when loaded, torn and damaged screen door, partially obstructed views, poorly labeled shared space. Choose a different property unless this one is significantly less and priced to reflect its condition. Set back on lot so north and south views are limited.

Reviewer Comments: This is my 3rd stay with beachfront in the last 6 months and while we live the locations, the main issue with this home was it shows hardwood floors but it was carpeted. It had a musky old smell in the house from the carpet and was really surprised the pictures showed differently. Beach + water + carpet and lots of food traffic does not make for a good combination.

Kitchen was large and great set up for whole family to hang out at kitchen. Only suggestion is that there should be more kitchen stuff (plates cookeware etc. to accommodate the up to 12 guests). Location is great; near dining, coffee house, markets, and Pier! Property manger was fantastic. Responded promptly and when had issue with sending paper work to be signed only a couple of hours before check in, they were responsive as well. However we were not informed of the removal of some of the sleeping accomodations and that caused some issues. Had problems with the locks on the doors and garage, and the downstairs kitchen sink did not drain nor did the garbage disposal work properly. it was never resolved. It was difficult to communicate with the manager. The electrical breakers kept tripping - we had to figure it out ourselves. Not enough linens for the number of beds (blankets, too). Everything else was in working order and it's a wonderful facility.

The living room and common space was old nasty carpet, the grill and fireplace were out of gas, the fridge was not cold, among other things. The maintenance guy gave us dry ice to keep the fridge over night which ruined all things that we brought to prepare for dinner. We had a great time with friends nonetheless.

PREVIOUSLY EVERYTHING WAS GREAT BUT THIS TIME IN THE UNIT BELOW OUR FAMILY DISCOVERED A BED FULL OF LIVE TERMITES. WE IMMEDIATELY CALLED THE OFFICE AND SENT A PICTURE TO THEM OF A BAG OF THEM THAT WE COLLECTED. IN ADDITION THE WINDOW SILLS WERE ALIVE WITH THEM AND OTHER AREAS IN THE UNIT. THIS WAS VERY DISTURBING AND IT TURNED OUT THAT THE OFFICE WAS NOT SYMPATHETIC AND WAS SLOW TO RESPOND.

The place was very nice although the pictures gave the impression that it was more modern than it actually was. We also thought we could walk straight out to the beach, but we had a small rock wall that took extra maneuvering, (my husband slipped and fell) and when the tide was high we had no beach (sand) The kids managed just fine, mom and friends enjoyed the jacuzzi. Overall we had a very nice time, there was plenty of space for everyone. It was very quiet at night, just the beautiful sound of the ocean waves.

The view is absolutely incredible. the location is good. Our only concern was of the condition of the backyard beach area. It wasn't well maintained at all. Sandy area & turf areas were overgrown with weeds, steps to get down to the beach area are half missing and it's not a very safe climb up or down on those rocks without those steps. Had a small garage door issue. But they got it fixed in 1 day. Thank You

Most of our time was spent enjoying the view and loved being right on the water. There was never enough beach to walk, but walking to the pier was enjoyable. We ate in all our meals. We loved the huge table, using one end for games and puzzles. A few suggestions, the ocean facing windows could have been cleaner. Also we had heavy rains the last day and the steps had the rain run off and were quite treacherous. An overhang or a railing would have been an asset.

We had 4 couples and it worked out great! Each had their own room. Kitchen and Family Room area were great to all hang out. Small beach area out front during low-tide, but plenty of room down there to throw football or frisbee. Short walk to other beaches. Big, well supplied kitchen made for great dinners.

An amazing huge dining room table with plenty of room and nooks to sleep in! The house was clean and well maintained, although you do need to bring ALL the beach toys you would want. The twin trundle left a little to be desired as it was a small pad on hard wood, but the other beds were decently comfy. The “beach” and the yard left a little to be desired. We were only able to play on our “beach” one afternoon, otherwise the water went right up to the stairs and the rocks. The “backyard” space looked like it needed some TLC with its rock hard dirt and growth on the edges of the turf. Reaching the staff was easy after our trip when one of our party lost their wallet, but challenging after hours when we had an issue.

Great location and beachfront is quick to resolve any issues that may arise. Easy check in and check out.
