This older home is lovely. The location couldn’t be better. Only issue was creaky floors upstairs - in spite of that we’d go back. Niagara on the Lake is a fairy tale place!

We have been coming to NOTL for 25 years- this was the best cottage we had. Three huge bedrooms, All with dedicated bath. Nice common spaces, well-appointed kitchen. Lovely garden, bathrooms very modern

This small community felt like home. Very clean and beautiful town. Away from the hustle and bustle but close to everything we needed.

We absolutely loved our stay at this wonderful cottage! We could not have asked for more. We were three friends staying in the Niagara region for 4 days and we each had our own room plus bathroom which felt pretty luxurious. The cottage is stunning (which multiple passersby pointed out to us as we sat on the pretty porch). The location can't be beat - steps from downtown - with beautiful trees surrounding it, and a lovely front yard and back garden, It's about a 20-minute drive to Niagara Falls and less than that to nearby wineries. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and we'd rent this place again in a heartbeat!!

We had such a lovely weekend. It was the perfect spot. Easy access to shops, wineries. Bedrooms were spacious and an added benefit for us to each have our own bathrooms. Everything we needed. Would highly recommend and I know we will be back!

Superb location, generous individual space for 3 couples...3 bedrooms/3bathrooms was perfect. Walking distance to all the shops/restaurants on Queen Street & of course within 5-15 minutes from all the wineries. The house is equiped with just about everything you could ask for.

Perfect location a few steps from Queen Street. Front porch for people watching and seeing the horse and carriages go by.

We had a wonderful time at this location. The front porch was a highlight, and we enjoyed sitting out there for a cup of coffee in the morning and some local wine in the evening.

Our stay was excellent. Location was ideal - we were able to walk to all the theaters and restaurants. All the flowers on the property are beautiful.
But there were 2 maintenance issues: Front porch steps are rotting away and must be repaired/replaced immediately. And a minor item - the inside doorknob on the downstairs bedroom fell off. I shoved it back on but didn't have a screwdriver to tighten the screw.
Lovely place. We would go back.

Convenient location, nice amenities, like start up code, laundry soap, etc. warm upstairs ceiling fans or any fan would be nice. Outside garden and back porch would be super nice if taken care of. All in all we had a nice time.

The property is in a fantastic location. Literally steps from all the action on Queens St, and a 5 minute walk down to the golf course on the lake.
The home looks just like the photos and the two story bedroom separation worked well for two couples to have privacy when sleeping & getting ready.
All the amenities came in handy and everything worked well in the home.
We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, and have already recommended it to friends.

Loved being able to walk to dinner and shopping and easy access to drive to wineries. Lighting is a little dim and fridge is small but the beds are comfortable, house is well organized and the service was amazing.

The house was clean and everything was as promised. Instructions for check in and check out were sent in advance and were clear. The wifi stopped working one day and despite it not being urgent or an emergency, Jason was there in a few minutes to get it back up and running. Would gladly stay there again and recommend to friends and family.

We loved the space and location. It is an old home so there are quirks (interior doors don’t stay closed, windows are hard to keep open, there is a strong musty smell), but overall a great place.

We four sisters had our annual gathering at this perfect cottage on Gate Street. The large front porch was ideal for morning coffee as well as for sharing stories over a glass of wine in the evening. The property was immaculate and roomy with a beautiful, well appointed kitchen. You will love it!

Perfect location for exploring and relaxing
Lovely house in the centre of Niagara on the Lake. Beautiful location to relax and close enough for touring Niagara Falls and the local area. Being able to walk to restaurants for dinner was added bonus.

Wonderful vacation home
We had a wonderful time staying at Gate Street Cottage. The location is literally steps from all the fun shops and restaurants on Queen Street. The property was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. We had a lot of fun playing games at the table and hanging on on the front porch. Niagara on the Lake is beautiful and there is so much to do.

Amazing Property
Beautiful cottage, great location and I be the garden just gets more beautiful as the season goes on! We loved watching the horse and carriages go by the front and really enjoyed the squirrels and birds in the back.

Perfect location
The house is in a perfect location for a stay in NOTL. It is steps from Queen St and all the shops/restaurants downtown. The area was very quiet and the house was spacious.

Great location, property, and amenities. Clean and kitchen was very well equipped. Beds were comfortable. Christmas tree was a wonderful touch. Perfect stay for three couples. Just one tiny complaint is with the water pressure of the showers. Looks like they went with the larger shower heads for a nice look but the water just dribbles out, especially the one on the main floor. It feels wrong to complain about since everything else was perfect.

NOTL Getaway
Double master suites facilitated a super comfortable stay with friends. Quiet escape, around the corner from everything. Great location for walking.

Great for a group
Loved this house! It was very comfy and great for a small group to hang out and relax. Having a bathroom attached to each bedroom was a huge bonus. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.
