Loved spending time at the river house, it was lovely drinking tea by the river in the morning and using the bikes to go explore during the day. The house is so close to downtown and wineries made it very convenient to get around. Highly recommend!

Not only is this a fantastic home with all the accommodations you have in your own home but so much more. The kitchen has everything you need, the grills outside so like new. The beds are all very comfy and there is so much room for 4 couples and even a few kids. The river is so peaceful and serene. Town is just a quick drive and the peach trees are so beautiful. Hope to go back again someday!

The Palisade River house was superb! The little touches like the welcome basket and new fire pit were very appreciated. The location is fantastic- we enjoyed the serenity of the backyard by the river while also being so close to town. The rooms were spacious and the communication with our hosts was always very prompt. The house was very clean and we loved the updated kitchen, especially the wine fridge! Highly recommend!

The place was exactly as described. Very cozy and roomy. The kitchen was fully stocked, and everything needed to cook meals. Even picked peached and made a wonderful peach cobbler. Location is ideal. Host were excellent, very responsive and communicated throughout our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the Palisade River House for our girls weekend! The home is well appointed with more than everything you could possibly need for a getaway. We enjoyed using the bikes to ride to wineries and into town for breakfast and loved relaxing in the yard above the river. We can’t wait to return again!

Our family of 7 stayed at TPRH and the accommodations were perfect. We loved the theater room and popcorn machine! We used the bikes to cycle to town several times and take a ride along part of the fruit and wine byway. There were plenty of dishes for us to cook all of our meals there and the black stone grill was amazing! The kitchen pantry and bathrooms were nicely stocked and that was much appreciated! The owner also left us a lovely bottle of wine and a box to fill with peaches from their orchard! The river was high so we couldn’t take the canoes out, which we understood. The area by the river would have been nice to hang out together around a fire, but the metal fire pit was rusted and corroded out, so hat area needs a little TLC and doesn’t look like the photos in the listing any more. With all that being said, we would definitely recommend TPRH.

The Palisade River house was an amazing place to stay. The perfect house for a girls weekend and we loved the walking distance to Main Street. We had everything we needed for the weekend and have already recommended this place to other friends. Bill and Kristin were speedy to respond to any of our questions.

My girlfriends and I took an amazing get away in Palisade. This house was perfect for yoga on the grass, BBQ at night and close to town to bike in and truly enjoy a little R&R.. The house was very well kept and clean. Beds were comfortable!

This property was right on the river. Our family enjoyed the nearby wineries, restraunts, alpaca farm, river rafting, fishing, community bike cruise and friendly neighbors. The house was prefect. We enjoyed movies in the theater downstairs (we liked that there was no TV in the livingroom), watching the sunrise/sunsets on the riverbank and barbecuing on the griddle and BBQ outside. It was a vacation our family will cherish.

The palisade river house was FANTASTIC! The listing was very accurate and you can tell the owners go above and beyond for their guests! They had tons of suggestions of things to do and even if you don’t leave the property there is a ton to do! It was the perfect location for my girls trip! We used Pali-Tours to do winery tastings and used Palisade Pedicab to get around town. I could not recommend these two services enough! But when not out on the town we had a great time hanging at the house! This is a must stay in Palisade! 10/10 will book again!!

My friends and I have been going to Palisade every summer for years and this is by far our favorite house to stay at. This was our 3rd time staying at the Palisade River House and it is just the perfect house to relax at. The house and property are beautiful. There’s plenty of room for a large group. We enjoyed relaxing by the river and using the theater room. The updated kitchen is lovely and we really appreciated the welcome basket. The house is also a very short walk to town which was very convenient. I cannot recommend this house enough!

My friends and I had a great time at the river house! It was the perfect size and layout, and riding bikes to the wineries was a blast!

Very comfortable home! Right on the Colorado River. Spent downtime in the home theater! Grilled steaks on the deck while enjoying a glass of wine Highly recommend.

Our group of (8) adults had an absolute blast at this house! Everything was as advertised and better than expected. The location is spectacular! Easy walk to the center of town but bikes on-site with a full tool shed with pumps and any other adjustment tools needed if you decide to venture out a little further, which we did with ease. The fire pit and riverside hang out area was really cool and morning coffee on the upper tier watching the sun come up was wonderful. The kitchen is extremely well stocked. Plenty of coffee and filters and anything else you could need. (But if not, the store is walking distance in town). Best part (although not at the time) my wife forgot her iPad, I left behind some readers etc…. We reached out and got confirmation that we had indeed left the iPad. I had no idea I miss placed my readers until the package showed up with quite a few things that were left behind. 🤣🤦🏼 This kind of service is not commonplace anymore so thank you thank you thank you!!! The house is super cool and we really liked hanging out on the one rainy afternoon we had. Turned on the canoe lights and enjoyed some wine. So much fun! We’ve been to Palisade a few times but never with a group. This will be our “go to” from here on out! We want to try and canoe up to the distillery next time! My self, my husband, our two married children and their spouses, plus two toddlers stayed at this home for a long weekend. There was was plenty of room for everyone, ample kitchen space and a lovely theater room to relax in. We enjoyed grilling dogs and burgers on the deck as well as playing games at the dining table. My favorite part of our stay was the big lush backyard, covered patio, and the view of the river. The hosts were wonderful and provided everything we needed. It was a restful paradise. We will definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the River House - the bikes, the check in touches, well appointed, great movie night theater, welcome wine, and great location close to everything!

What a great rental! We enjoyed coffee overlooking the river, took advantage of the cruisers and rode to the distillery and even enjoyed the theater after a long day. The property was well stocked for all our needs and very comfortably housed six adults with plenty of room for more. We will be renting here again!

This rental property is amazing! The photos do not do it justice! There is so much space. We were in town for my grandmas birthday and wine tours. The patio is amazing and orchard was lovely. The kitchen and living room area was very spacious and the basement was huge as well. The hosts were very communicative and so nice. Book here! You can walk to town for lunch/dinner/shopping. It is .4 miles into town.

We had such a fun time at this property. The peach orchard was attended to by our kiddos who filled the box with peaches. The chairs overlooking the river were perfect for stargazing during the meteor shower. Super close to town, definitely a nice little bike ride. Didn’t have time to try the canoes but next time we will! Super sweet owners and the house has all you need with a fun movie room for the kids.

3 couples stayed for a long weekend and we could not have asked for a better time. Thank you for having a beautiful house and providing a memorable experience.

The Palisades River house was perfect for our family gathering. We had 8 adults for the weekend and had plenty of room to be together and apart. The house was close enough to restaurants and brewery’s that we could walk, we enjoyed an afternoon sitting by the river and we picked done peaches to take home. There is a big, family size table for us to eat at and play games. If we are ever in this area again, I would certainly stay here again.

We spent 5days and 4 nights in the area. The house was perfect for our needs. The view was awesome as was the area. It’s perfectly situated for day trips to the Grand Mesa as well as Moab and the Colorado Monument. The house was well stocked and had plenty of space. It was a bit warm but it was also quite warm outside so that certainly played in to it. The owners were very communicative and responded immediately to any questions we had. I’d recommend this house if you are looking to travel to the area with a group.

This worked well for our group of 6 friends - 2 of us per bathroom and lots of bedrooms. We enjoyed hanging out and visiting in the living room and outside looking over the river. The movie room was fun too!

Great location near town. River access but, river beach area could use some refurb. Couple items mentioned to owner that need attention that were fixed after leaving. Wonderful to have bikes! Owners were attentive, and responsive. Quiet neighborhood, so have to be in by 10pm.

Our group of friends rented the River House for a girls’ weekend and it did not disappoint! The location was perfect and the house was well stocked. We look forward to coming back in the future and I would definitely recommend this property to my friends and family!
