Would highly recommend it for family stay

Small and clean property. We missed one night stay due to flight cancel and no refund or offer from the host. that is only concern for me. Everything ok other than that.

We were very impressed with Home Sweet City. It was as advertised. Clean and well stocked. It was easy to find and convenient to the Metro, restaurants and the grocery store. The host was very responsive and reached out to check on us during our stay. We’ll definitely look at this place on our next visit to DC!

This basement apartment is comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. The location in Chevy Chase right by Rock Creek Park is excellent for families with young children. I wasn’t sure about street parking, but the spot in front of the house was always available so we had no issues there. Overall, this stay exceeded our expectations!

It was a perfect-sized place for my daughter and me to stay as we toured DC. The neighborhood was quiet and safe and we hardly ever heard the upstairs neighbors. Our only trouble was figuring out how to get the key out of the lock box and open the door as the porch light was out. The owner said he would fix it that weekend so I'm sure it is all taken care of for the next guests.

Was everything we hoped for in D.C. area, easy to get to train stations and everything we needed close by. Communication with owners was great. Will definitely stay again if back in area

This place was great for the two of us. It’s a little small but you know that going in. Had pretty much everything we needed for a weekend stay.

We rented the property for the use of our adult children and their children while they visited us in D.C. They could not have been happier with the choice of a place to stay. They loved the location in a neighborhood setting close to the park and easy access to the rest of the city. They apartment was perfect for them and they were very happy with the accommodations. The Home Sweet City team was great to work with. They responded quickly to all questions and needs from booking the property to keeping the temperature in the unit just right. They are friendly and professional.

We loved being so close to Rock Creek Park, but also the proximity to major thoroughfares for the DC/MD/VA area.
