Clean property and size was perfect for our family. Beds were comfortable and the house sure stayed cool! We enjoyed the pool. We enjoyed our stay overall. No doubt in renting again.

Location, sleeping room and 3 bathrooms were perfect for our large group. The living room furniture was very used, stained and uncomfortable. WI-FI was horrible, tried to work a couples hours in the morning but had to go to Starbucks. We tried to reset and called customer service. Also had a bug problem, ants and black small bug and found a cockroach ran across the clean dishes.

Reviewer Comments: Got a call from the management company prior to our check-in letting us know the owners had scheduled a bug treatment company to come in at 9am our first morning and that children and dogs needed to be kept away from the chemicals for at least at hour. I told them at 9am that wasn't possible so they rescheduled for later that day. That first morning we found out why they hired a bug company, the house has a cockroach infestation which is probably the real reason you can't leave food as there isn't actually any Texas state law against it that I'm aware of. Each morning of our stay we found roaches in the kitchen and killed them. Not too big a deal but it was definitely gross! The weather sucked but that's no ones fault. We went to the "heated" pool on a chilly day only to find that the kids pool area was NOT heated by any stretch of the imagination and the pool itself was barely lukewarm, even chilly below the first 4 inches of water. The kids played in it but it definitely wasn't warm water. The layout of the house was nice, plenty of beds and space. Appreciated the cots and sleeping pads and loved the location to town and the beach! Overall a lovely little townhouse that needs their bug problem fixed and pool warmed up a bit more.

This is a nice place and suitable for a crowd but not with the current WiFi setup. There was no WiFi upstairs at all. Cooking was easy and furniture was good in the unit, but kids and family were disappointed in the WiFi.

The room set up was perfect for our family. It seemed to be an older place, but clean and well taken care of. Pool area was nice, but cold. Management was quick to come and turn in the heater. It didn’t heat up very much before we had to leave. Easy check in and check out. Just wish there was a hot tub.

Perfect property that met our needs. About a 5 minute drive to the beach and short drive to grocery stores and restaurants. We had 8 in our group - my husband and I, my mom, and our three young adult children and their significant others. The older adults stayed downstairs while the young adults stayed upstairs. The stairs are kind of steep, so it was tough on older knees. We had plenty of room and enough beds for everyone. Having three bathrooms was great for our group and had plenty of towels. We enjoyed the full kitchen and dining area, as we stayed in most nights for meals. The kitchen had everything we needed which was a big plus. We did not use the back patio as it was not private and too close to the property adjacent to us as they were usually taking up too much space and smoking outside. The pool area was nice but was crowded most of the time so we did not get to enjoy it. But we spent most of our time at the beach or exploring the island. Overall, this place fit our needs and our budget and we would definitely stay here again.

The condo was amazing, our family and two other families stayed and we had a great time. The place was clean, well furnished and close to the beach. The pool was the best feature, our kids did not want to leave.

The condo is neat and clean. The pool was awesome for the kiddos and adults. It is a little difficult to find with GPS The first time but other than that no complaints. We would love to stay here again.

Unit was very clean, but ice maker dispenser had black mold on it (where ice came out). Upstairs shower water pressure was very low. We experienced about an hour delay because cleaning crew had dead bolted entry door (from inside). Padre Escapes was prompt and courteous to respond. Would suggest being careful around platform beds if you have children as frames stick out and are easy to bump into. location is convenient to beach and restaurants.

Just as advertised. Pool was great. Distance to beach was just around the corner. If I had any questions the staff was available on text or phone to answer anything I needed. Will definitely recommend and will stay again. Thanks for a vacation that provided far less stress than staying anywhere else.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was very close to the beach. The place has 2 floors, 1 bedroom on the bottom and 2 bedrooms on second floor. The entire place was roomy for 6 adults and 6 kids. This place did not let us check in until after 6p.

There were many issues that we encountered.
The issue we had with the place was that it smelled of cigarette smoke. It was very uncomfortable for us to try to relax in the living room area with the strong smell. Also, whenever we walked into the place, that is the first thing we smelled.
The other issue we had was that there were no shampoo and conditioner provided. There were body soaps. We tried contacting the host but no reply for the 2 days we stayed. They stopped contacting us as soon soon as they told us we can check in the place at 6p. We understand when we checked in it was after hours, but what about the next day.
While we were looking for extra bedding and blankets, there were several black bags inside the closets. We counted 6 big black bags in total in three closets. The bags were labeled with some tags and we thought they were clean laundry. Upon opening we realized the black bags were dirty laundry. Why have dirty laundry left behind for the next guest? Why did it take up to 6p to finish cleaning if they can’t take out the dirty laundry. We were nervous about the other laundry in the closet after we discovered the dirty laundry.

Overall the place was adequate for a 2 night stay. We liked that the place was big enough for us. We liked that there are 3 bathrooms, except we had to buy three times the amount of shampoo and conditioner. We did not go the common area as we were cautious with the virus. The kitchen was well equipped with some pots and pans, but no seasoning if you are planning to cook. The dining table was big enough for 6 people and there were enough plates and cups.

We had a great weekend with family at this rental. Very spacious and had everything we needed.
