Quit possibly the cookest VRBO I have ever stayed in! We’ll done!

Our daughter got married in the gardens in Shelbyville. We rented this fabulous loft for our immediate family, including both of our 90+ year old mother’s. It was perfect for the entire family. The space is amazing and the decor impeccable. The one thing I was concerned about for our mothers was the climb to the loft. But they took the stairs in stride. Thank you Ben and Melinda for sharing your beautiful loft with us.

This property was awesome and very convenient for us to meet during the day. We loved the layout and openness. Cool patio and gathering area!

This place is better in person. Usually the picture hype up a place, but the pictures didn't do it justice. It is perfect for a large group. We had a great time and will definitely use this place again!

This place was amazing, from the moment you step into the loft, you recognize the space and the cleanliness, you could imagine it to be any better. The downtown location is perfect, it's quiet and full of shops to enjoy. Even driving back and forth to Louisville was fine because once we got back to the loft we got to enjoy our friends and family. We had a blast and will be back!

Easy to access, great open spaces for large group, interesting decor, excellent amenities like theatre room and sauna in master bedroom. High ceilings, old beams, and giant windows make an immediate impression on entry. Would stay again if I was in the area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Urban Loft! It was beautiful and spacious. This property sets a high bar. The owners were also very helpful. We highly recommend the property.

Beautiful property (and huge!) with a ton of historic charm. This was a great location for our group on our three days of the bourbon trail. Shelbyville is a good location if you plan on going to Frankfort and Bardstown while on your trip. Managers were easy to communicate with and timely in their responses.

The expansive property perfectly accommodated our party. The home is beautiful and full of character. The hosts were easy to communicate with, helped us coordinate a chef and transportation for a bourbon tour. We would stay here again and we highly recommend.

House is beautiful and easily accommodated our group of 11. Hosts were great to work with and went above and beyond. Only minor knock is don't expect a lot to do in Shelbyville proper, it's a small town, but we completely enjoyed the house and hosts

We were a group of 3 families (7 adults (1 child carer) and 5 kids) and we couldn’t be happier with how the space accommodated us all! There was one additional bed in a a loft space we did not use. The space was clean, all on one level (after the single flight of stairs up) and had something for everyone! The town is friendly with two pretty great restaurants (possibly more but we only tried 2) and convenient to distilleries and attractions in nearby cities/towns. We would definitely stay there again.

We did a Bourbon Trail birthday trip with friends and family. This place was even better than in the pictures, I know hard to believe! There was enough space for the couple to spread out to have their own space and also great gathering areas for all of us to hangout in the front of the loft! The owners were also highly responsive and very helpful! Would highly recommend this loft if you are looking for a place to stay in the area.

This loft is amazing! The windows and high ceilings were stunning. Each of our five couples had private rooms, and were able to share in the large common spaces. We grilled using the outdoor living area and made use of the expansive, well stocked kitchen. We watched the World Series on the three TV's in the game room and enjoyed the bar in that room as well. The eclectic décor and unique floor plan helped make our stay a one of a kind experience. Thank you to Ben and Melinda for providing this wonderful loft! We truly enjoyed our stay.

Five couples stayed here for two nights. We enjoyed the decor, comfy beds, steam shower, and beautiful windows. We enjoyed the creativity of the renovation of the interior. Access is by a narrow door and up a tall stairwell. We walked to a nearby restaurant for dinner and found the town and residents charming. We all agreed this is the most memorable Vrbo we’ve stayed in and we felt very privileged to be able to experience this property. We hope to return next year!

I can't recommend this vrbo enough, it was beautiful, so much character and unique aspects of the place. It's definitely an experience and a great getaway. There were 10 guys and we all had plenty of space and never felt on top of each other.

We had a lovely time and really enjoyed the space. This made our trip extra special. We ate at the Mexican restaurant across the street and really enjoyed that too.

Great location amazing building

We had a team of five from our non-profit staying here together to work for a few days. Not only is the large dining table great for team work, and the sofas great for hanging around, there are also 3 different outdoor seating areas two of which are covered and screened in, making them additional ideal places to gather around a table to work or eat. It is also nice to walk Main Street in Shelbyville. Kitchen is well-equipped and we were able to cook our meals. There are three different coffee makers, only request for future visits is to add an electric kettle so that tea drinkers can also keep their chosen caffeine flowing easily. Great space. Great host. Highly recommend.

Wow. This is the best VRBO property I’ve ever stayed at. Exceeded expectations. My husband and I have stayed in lovely places coast to coast, but this one takes the cake! It was comfortable and stylish, a destination in itself. It is lovingly appointed with wonderful surprises like the theater room, game room, kids play room, and steam shower in the master. We came for a family gathering and spanned 3 generations and it suited us all so well. We will be back!

This is a luxury residence, with so many creature comfort ammendities and fantastic decorations. We had 12 people in our party, and not once did it feel over crowded. Also, if you do plan on doing a bourbon tour and you have reservations at several distilleries, rent out their limousine service. They can accommodate 15 people, and the driver was fantastic. 10 / 10 would do it again. When we come back to KY, this residence is on speed dial. Thank you again for hosting us!

Beautiful property, a little different with personal belongings being left. Bathroom rugs were unwashed & fridge was dirty, but I would stay again. It was a very neat place to stay definitely unique & different but spacious with a very cool decorating style

Very large, spacious doesn't even really describe it that well...very comfortable for 12 people, we each had our own separate space if needed. The outdoor area could use some help, but really it was so nice inside for our purposes! Interesting decor and of course the location is top notch for bourbon trails.

We had an amazing long weekend while staying at this beautiful Shelbyville loft. It’s located right on Main Street with easy walking to a coffee shop, Mexican restaraunt, candy shop and great stores. The loft itself was beautifully decorated with an eye to maintaining the historic and architectural aspects. There was plenty of space for all of us to enjoy from the movie room to the game room. We will plan on going back again!

Each couple had plenty of space with their own rooms and the loft was so incredibly stunning that we all couldn’t stop talking about how gorgeous it was.While we weren’t able to go on the bourbon trail because of COVID restrictions, the loft was so spacious we were able to have the best time and made our own trail tasting throughout the house. On top of an amazing time with friends, Melinda and Ben were so amazing to communicate with. Melinda would answer my text messages instantly and made me feel so comfortable with our visit. And to top it off, they secretly worked with my boyfriend (now fiancé!) to pull of the best surprise proposal on their gorgeous patio!!This will be a trip that we will never forget and the loft as well as the owners were just the icing on the cake. We will DEFINITELY be going back and we will be telling all our friends that it’s the only place to stay on the bourbon trail!

We had 4 couples staying here to celebrate a 50th birthday. Plenty of space for all in this spacious loft filled with historical touches. Ben and Melinda were super quick to respond to questions and gave some great recommendations for restaurants nearby that are walkable to eat in or get takeout from. We did the transportation option to visit some distilleries and that was great (I don’t know if they have multiple drivers but ask for Steve!) A lot is closed down right now but we still had a great time.

Celebrated my husband’s 40th birthday with friends and it was the perfect layout-open floor plan, large kitchen and man cave! The property was unique, and decor was on point! The owners were super friendly and very helpful. They gave great recommendations on local eateries and even stopped by to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. It’s a great property!
