We really enjoyed staying here. Was surprised the fence did not go all the way around the backyard, but would definitely stay here again!

We love to stay in cabin and enjoyed ski and snowboard nearby Northstar resorts ski. All so good for bedrooms, kitchen and shower for us. We put recycles of water bottles it is not sure of garbages. You could post of recycled of garbages. Thanks

Clunky getting into the property- no after hours assistance had me moments from sleeping in my truck- property management company communicated, followed up and discounted the rate for the mistake. The cabin is great- definitly well worn and old but well appointed and clean. Septic back up on the last day.. property management again stepped up to deal however it meant no shower for me on my final day there.

Great experience and location. No frills. Plenty of towels and entertainment options. Would stay again.

Has all you need for a quick trip to Tahoe

My wife, mother-in-law, infant daughter and puppy all stayed at this cabin. It is a wonderful rustic place. The location is great and we hiked from the cabin and also walked to nice restaurants, bars and shops. I will say that the backyard isn't fully fenced in, but that was okay with our dog because weren't going to let him go running wild in the snow anyway.

We loved that the house was within walking distance of Kings Beach. It had everything we needed including plenty of towels and washer/dryer. You don’t get much cross-ventilation from the windows but small fans are provided.

The entire cabin is very dark, good for sleeping but also dark during the day. The carpet is not clean and they have covered it with a rug that doesn’t fit. This makes it difficult to get in and out of the door. There are some child safety issues. There is a large wall unit that is not attached to the wall. Also the blinds have long cords, these would be easy Walmart fixes. Although there is a yard, it is not fenced as advertised and there is a unsightly garbage pile next door. A gallon of paint and some T:LC would make this a very convenient and comfortable cabin.

We had such a great time. Nice clean small place. Walking distance to kings beach! Even left our computers at the house and the rental staff was very helpful!!

No hand soap, shampoo, sugar... for that much, I would had expected to have those essentials. I realize it was last minute, but the place needs some updating for that price. We loved the garage! Thank you

This property is about 5 blocks from the Lake and 5 blocks from mountain biking and hiking trails. It is prime location for active vacationers! An outdoor deck would have been perfect, but chairs in the yard make do. The game selection is outstanding and the garage was perfect for the toys we brought!

The only bathroom in the house had a shower that was not working. The bathmat and towels had not been washed after the last occupant. It took 2 days for the management company to schedule a plumber, who had to replace the shower head and a few valves. There was a heavy storm so the delay was understandable. What was very disappointing was the attitude of the manager we spoke to at Century 21: she was defensive, seemed to blame the plumbing problem on us ("you must have turned off the heat", unlikely in 25deg weather!) and never offered an apology or an accommodation for the condition of the house. Our request for a late checkout was immediately denied of course. I did not bother to even suggest some form of monetary compensation, but I did tell the folks at Century 21 that I would be writing this up. There were some other minor inconveniences that were not mentioned in the VRBO description. Garage has no automatic door opener. No cable/local TV. No dishwasher. On the plus side, the washer/dryer is conveniently located and the bedrooms are a good size with large closets.

It was as expected and much better. Rooms where very well kept and amenities were sufficient for our cozy stay in wintery Tahoe. Just a quarter mile from Big Blue Tahoe and very close to modern amenities as well. Diamond Peak ski area was just 20mins away. A great place, would love to go back.

We had a great summer vacation. The rental home was close to shops, the lake, and groceries, everything was within walking distance. Everything in the home was clean and ready to go. My family and I had a very good experience with the rental home. I would rent it again in a heartbeat. Thank you Stephanie at Tahoe North Rentals.

Over the course of 72 hours we had the plumber twice, the gas utility man and an electrician all visit during our vacation. This was obviously pretty disruptive and not conducive to relaxing. We paid to stay in a house with no gas, no hot water and problematic electrical outlets. It's pretty surprising it was rented out in this condition in the first place. But even beyond those larger issues there were several smaller ones. This house is hot and extremely difficult to cool down. There is no outside space beyond an empty dirt yard with timber and nails in a pile. We slept with windows open and no covers even though it was 70 outside. Several of the windows didn't open and the others were difficult to get open and dirty. The house was dark and some of the appliances didn't work (but that could be related to the electrical problems). There are some cute aspects to this cabin. Someone bought a lot of kitsch vintage kitchen items. The beds were newer and comfortable. These things would have been charming had the bones of the place been solid and functional. Our family has rented cabins in Kings Beach for the last 15 years, and we have had many at this price point so know what to expect. The myriad problems and decrepitude of this cabin do not warrant any price point. To be fair, we brought these issues to the management and they did make some restitution. But we still won't be back.
