What a wonderful vacation we had on SSI with a great home to stay in. This home was immaculate, location fantastic, and had everything we could possibly need.
We really enjoyed having our morning coffee on the back porch. The attention to detail that this home has is the best.....even a floor fan on the back porch to help with the heat of August at the beach! We highly recommend!

Pictures don’t do this cute cottage justice!
Checkin was so easy! Prior to us arriving, the owner sent me a message inquiring when we planned on arriving and stated that he would let me know if the cottage was cleaned early, and if so, we would be allowed to check in early.
I noticed On my reservation that it was not listed that I would be bringing my 2 fur babies. William understood that I may have overlooked checking a box when submitting my reservation and stated that it would not be an issue. He sent me a separate bill of $20 for each night that I was able to pay separately.
The house is close to East Beach where we were able to take the pups. Upon coming back to the house, there is an outside shower for us to rinse the pups (and us) off.
Also, the house is close to the Winn Dixie, Redfern Village and the Fishing Pier.
If you have pups, you will appreciate that the backyard is fenced in which was a huge plus for us.
This is a charming home that you will regret if you overlook! We are so happy we have found a place that we can use when we want to go to SSI/Jekyll.

Our family of 5 has rented lots of houses but we unanimously declared this our favorite! This house is small but so well stocked and organized. It had everything we could ever have needed plus more. It was by far the most organized kitchen I have ever seen at a rental. We do a lot of cooking and Willy provided every pot/pan, spice, even aluminum foil! There are coolers, beach chairs, beach umbrella, sand toys, bikes-- all for you to borrow and return. We played games, cards and even put together a puzzle. The house is only an 8 minute easy drive to East Beach, which had plenty of parking and bathrooms. Two grocery stores were within 5 minutes of the house. The street is quiet and we felt completely safe riding the bikes we borrowed from the house. The back porch has plenty of seating, games and lovely lights. Our dog traveled with us and loved the fenced in backyard. I was blown away that the house had doggy bags, bowls, towels etc. in case we forgot anything. The location was quiet but only 10-12 minutes from the island's main attractions and about 30 minutes from Jekyll Island. Truly, if you are headed to St. Simons, this is the house for you. Rent it. You will love it!

This is our second stay in this cottage! We love it! Willy makes sure the cottage is stocked with everything you may need! He also is very attentive to anything you may need or any questions you may have! Fenced in yard is perfect for your fur children and location is amazing not to far from anything. We usually rent a golf cart and everything is a short drive.

Everything was as it was supposed to be. Close to many wonderful restaurants. Very pleasant. Only thing that I didn't care for was the bed in the master bedroom. Extremely hard. Everything else was wonderful and I will recommend to anyone. Will definitely be coming back!!

The house was awesome - a 1940s cottage with modern updates and features just minutes from the beach, restaurants and a grocery store! It was quaint and well cared for. It had everything we could ask for and more. Some of our favorite features included the use of bikes, the fenced yard, the outdoor shower (with hot water!!), a well stocked kitchen, YouTube TV, super soft waffle-design towels, and the hanging chair on the back porch.
St Simon's is a beautiful place to visit. We enjoyed the seafood, exploring the island and surrounding islands, and museums. The beaches were clean and even in June we had no problems finding parking.

This was our family's first time staying in Vrbo, we were so happy that we chose this location. We would definitely stay here again and possibly stay longer the next time.

We had everything we needed, it was as advertised, clean, and location was great for us. If you are traveling with pets this is perfect! Fenced in back yard, safe street for carefree walks with our 2 small dogs. Beds were comfortable, plenty of pillow choices. The owner was very sweet and let us know if there was anything we needed, ask. For us, having a couple of bicycles available to tool around on was the cherry on the top, he had 4! Willy, thank you, great job as a host! St Simons, we r coming back to see your charming self again soon I hope!

This was a perfect location for my son and I to spend a weekend while apartment hunting for him. It was close to everywhere we needed to be. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. Would absolutely stay again.

THE PLACE WAS JUST RIGHT. THE PROBLEMS I HAD WERE, WE TRIED TO RENT IT 11-23-11-27 IT WAS CONFIRMED BUT ACTUALLY WAS CONFIRMED 11-26- BEGINNING FOR 3 NIGHTS WE PAID FOR 3 NIGHTS I TALKED WITH VRBO AND WE AGREED TO STAY 12-19 FOR 3 NIGHTS BUT ACTUALLY WAS CONFIRMED FOR 2 NIGHTS AFTER PAYING FOR 3 I DID NOT LOOK AT THE CONFIRMATION IN DETAIL UNTIL I GOT THE KEY INFO INOTICED THAT YOU HIGHLITED IN THE EMAIL WE STAYED 12-18 FOR 2 NIGHTS WHICH IS NOT CORRECT I WAS UNABLE TO EMAIL THE OWNER BUT HAVE HIS CONTACT INFO NOW I DO WANT TO RENT IT AGAIN

We enjoyed our stay at 19 Stewart Ave. The house was very clean and had everything we needed including for our dog! The large backyard is fenced in and was perfect for our golden retriever! The house is located close to beaches, shopping, and restaurants! Our host Willy was super nice and ready to help if needed! We loved St. Simon and had a great time!

Willy was easy to communicate with, he is very thoughtful and friendly and we greatly enjoyed meeting him during our St. Simon's Island visit. Willy's place is very comfortable and the neighborhood is very peaceful. The home is not far from an island trail that we had a wonderful time exploring using Willy's bikes. We also really enjoyed our beach walks on the island. We look forward to future stays at Willy's home as we find ourselves back at St. Simon's Island.

Our family really enjoyed ourselves! We over packed, because Willy has chairs, boogie boards, coolers, towels, bikes, etc, to make your travels and stay perfect! The house is on the smaller side, but is designed great with an amazing large covered back porch where we spent most of the time! The location is also wonderful! The neighborhood is quiet and in walking distance to Redfern village! Great place!

My husband and I travelled here with our dogs. This house was perfect for us. Plenty of room and the attention to detail was awesome. Doggie poop bags were available and dog dishes and a great fenced yard. The kitchen had all they were needed. This neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. The bed was so comfortable and the television in the bedroom was nice. We would recommend this place. If we ever travel back here, we will rent this house!

We enjoyed our stay and so did Brutus our German Shepherd. Will be coming back to stay again. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Willy our host put our dog leash in the mail we had left it behind and we thank him for that. We had a great time exploring downtown and the island. All in all we had a wonderful time. Everything about this little gem was great! Check in process, cleanliness, communication, outdoor cozy living with beautiful plants around you! Most of all, for us, having a backyard that is safe for our dogs is a big plus! Also, location was perfect! Minutes to restaurants, stores and the beach!!!

Loved this simple home, fully stocked with everything you will need for a relaxing vacation on St. Simon Island. Spices, flavored teas and more. Ten minutes from most island attractions and close to downtown restaurants and shopping. Quiet neighborhood with private fenced in backyard, allowing our dog freedom to roam. Dog toys and dog house also in backyard, plus inside crate if needed. Beach towels, lotions and some kiddie toys on back deck that was our coffee place each morning to enjoy early morning bird songs. Tons of pamphlets, literature and island naturalist resources to read. Willy, the owner was attentive and helpful. Totally recommend this property.

My husband and I--two seniors with e-bikes--spent 5 nights in this cozy house. It was neat, clean, fully equipped, and supplied with thoughtful extras. There was even a dog house in the enclosed back yard. Host Willie was most accommodating; he greeted us shortly after our arrival and helped unload our bikes. The house is well-located in a quiet, leafy neighborhood--only a block from a major bike/pedestrian pathway.

The cottage was perfect for my husband and I. The fenced in yard perfect for our dog. Nice quiet neighborhood. We liked sitting on both the front and back porches with coffee. Walking distance to shops and restaurants and quick drive to the beach and other sites.. The owner was great - very responsive and great to talk with. It was our first time on St Simons and we'll be back.

It was exactly what we were looking for. Small, cozy and just the right distance away from all the things we wanted to do and see. We were there during the recent historic cold snap and the host was very receptive to our needs and stayed in contact to make sure all was well. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone wishing to visit St Simons Island.

Very easy check-in. The owner was very communicative and had the house lit up when we arrived. We didn't get a chance to use the bikes but hope to stay again so we can take advantage of the convenience. Very close to family living at Magnolia Manor, which is a strong selling point. Also part of a larger neighborhood for good walking and walking distance to a nature preserve with a beautiful view of the marsh.

This lovely two-bedroom, one-floor house is ideally situated in a quiet neighborhood within a half-mile of restaurants, shops, and a grocery store (Winn Dixie). Very cozy and dog friendly as it has a large fenced backyard. We brought our own dog crates to keep our dogs contained in the house out of respect for the property owners' request to keep dogs off the furniture, but if you have a small dog, the owners have a small wire crate in the house so you don't have to bring your own crate inside. Off-street parking. The owners are used to dogs since they have a poop-bag dispenser just inside the front door. Note: we brought our own poop bags! The range of pillows on the bed was wonderful! I like a flat soft pillow and there was one on the bed as well as other types of bed pillows. That was really special, since pillows make a big difference in quality of sleep. We will stay here again in a heartbeat.

My husband and I enjoyed our short stay in this cute cottage. Our Westie loved exploring the backyard and we enjoyed the back porch. Probably the best equipped VRBO we’ve ever stayed in! The owner has thought of everything!

A lot of things were included in the kitchen and the bathroom that you just would not expect in a hotel.
If you can think of it, this place pretty much had it.
The back deck/porch is exceptional!
