Dan & Steph were awesome hosts! The house is well equipped with all beach needs and perfect happy hour porch sitting! Perfect location between beach and town. Everyone will enjoy their stay at Porchtauk!

The owners are extremely responsive, the house has everything one needs including items for infants. The house is very clean, the location couldn't be better, walking distance to the beach and close to town. WE LOVED IT!!! There is nothing I would change about it, and the house certainly made our vacation terrific. We had six people, 2 toddlers, and it was absolutely perfect!! And the kitchen is perfectly stocked with everything!!! We are planning to rent it again next summer for sure!!! Like I said, there is nothing I would change about it. Perfect in every way!!!

PorchTauk lived up to its great expectations. A warm and sophisticated house, super well appointed, with ample room to stay yet intimate, with generous offerings from towel to toys to basement games - close to beach and town - in an awesome neighborhood. And of course - the pièce de résistance – the porch. Where we taulked and lounged and read and taulked some more. Wonderful hosts to boot. (I feel like we would be friends.) Super generous with so much helpful information and a sense of humor. We will be back - thank you for a great kickoff to summer and memories that will last a lifetime!

Daniel was an amazing host, very accessible and gave us great insider tips for enjoying the area. The house is a perfect beach house, with an open dining living area and 5 good sized bedrooms. The basement provides another well laid out hang out area, and our kids loved the ping pong action. There are lots of beach chairs, towels, imbrellas and everythung was easy to find. We especially loved the porch, and all had our favorite spots there. We ate most of our meals outside and loved hearing the waves and watching birds, bunnies and deer. There aee ither houses nearby, but the porch and side yard feel very private. My son would like to live here. So would I!

The house is very well kept and filled with everything you need for a beach vacation. The owner was always available when I had a question. We left with amazing memories. Kathi

We had an amazing stay in Montauk with our family friends and just loved everything about this house. Not only was the house wonderful, but the owner, Dan was great to deal with. The house was beautiful (even better in person than the photos) and fully stocked with everything we needed for a great Montauk vacation. Plenty of beach towels, chairs, coolers and a great kitchen. We loved the porch, outdoor space and especially the close proximity to the beach. We will definitely be back again!

Dan and Steph were spot on and always available for our questions and concerns. Dan’s responses were prompt and he was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. The house is extremely comfortable and the porch was magnificent as we spent all our time outside whether it was eating or lounging about. The hammock and outdoor shower were the best. Porchtauk was also well appointed and served our every need. All I can say is just come, relax and enjoy. You won’t be disappointed. My family highly recommends Porchtauk for a memorable Montauk vacation.

It's impossible to truly describe how much our family loved our stay at PorchTauk. Our extended family has been going to Montauk for the last 50 years and we decided to switch from staying at the local hotels to a home for convenience - and PorchTauk certainly did not disappoint. With 4 generations traveling for the week, there was something for everyone to keep busy and happy - beach toys for the little ones, the beautiful patio for the parents, and an incredible kitchen for our 80 yr old grandmother. Dan and Stephanie have thought of every detail - when they say, 'don't bring much with you' they really mean it! Beach &bath towels, bed sheets, beach chairs/umbrellas - it's all there! The bedrooms and bathrooms are perfectly sized. Most of the families we came with have 1-2 infants/toddlers, and the rooms could easily fit a family of four when needed. The master bedroom/bathroom was stunning - if you're lucky enough to pull the long straw for that bedroom...enjoy it! Also, the outdoor shower was a life saver for those who don't mind showering outside. You feel like you're in a sauna! The walk to the beach is peaceful and quiet. To note for those who aren't familiar with Montauk parking: homeowners only get 1 pass for their beach so if you want to bring a lot of gear to the beach with you, be sure to plan accordingly. It might take a few trips! Now: the beach. Because our family arrived early (before check in) we fought the crowds at the public beach on the first day. After that, we were worried for the rest of the week. Well, the private beach was the exact opposite - there were a handful of other families there, but we essentially had the whole beach to ourselves. It was absolute perfection. Getting to and from town was extremely easy. Many of us took the opportunity to take a long walk into town for dinners/shopping. It was a little bumpy for a stroller, but nothing beats the view of walking on Old Montauk Highway into town. We keep referring to last week's vacation as perfect and the biggest reason for that is because of PorchTauk. We never wanted to leave and hope to be back soon!

We rented Porch Tauk for a summer holiday reunion with our kids/spouses and 6 grandchildren. The location was great and the house was lovely. The house had plenty of room and everything you would need from babies to adults. The beach pass and all the beach necessities available were terrific! Dan responded quickly to any question and was a great help. We had a wonderful experience at this property and would highly recommend it.

What a beautiful home! I was lucky enough to snag this home for my wedding weekend. It was going to be a magical weekend no matter what, but this house truly made it that much more special. The details in the home were wonderful. The space was perfect for my family and for my bridesmaids to hang, get ready and take pictures. Dan was great to work with. We had open communication and worked together to make the weekend perfect. Every person who stepped in the home thought it was amazing. I wouldn't be surprised if others would be renting next. And that porch was so relaxing!! Perfect weekend! Thank you again for letting us experience this magical time in our lives at your home. We are so grateful for working with such great people with such a beautiful place.

We loved this home! The rooms were beautifully and comfortably decorated with thoughtful details throughout. It was clear that the owners took great care and pride in their home. We would love the opportunity to stay here again in the future.

We had a family gathering for a special occasion and this home fit our needs perfectly. The owners, Dan & Stephanie, were very helpful and there were lots of amenities, (even booster seats). A bottle of wine was left for us upon arrival. Great place, great location, great space, and very kid friendly! A terrific home to spend with friends and fam while enjoying Montauk!

Our family was in Montauk for our son's wedding and wanted a place close to town. What a pleasant surprise when we pulled up to this jewel of a house. Located right off of the Old Montauk Highway, a couple of miles from town and blocks from a private beach we immediately felt at home. Not only is the layout of the house conducive to family gatherings but the detail of each room makes you feel like you're in something very special. Every room was clean and well maintained. Owners Dan and Stephenie have thought it all out and we lacked for nothing. We spent a great day on the secluded beach and enjoyed some good family gossip with wine on the porch that evening. I couldn't recommend this property more and plan a repeat family visit even without a wedding.

We had a great time staying at this lovely house. We were four adults and two children and this house suited us perfectly. We all had our own bedrooms and the bathrooms were new. The house was very comfortable and very well equipped. Hither Hills is a very nice area and very close to the private beach. We hope to return again next season.

This house had it all. Great set up from the beautiful wrap around porch and deck - great for sitting outside at night (and easy access to the kitchen) to the comfortable hammock and great outdoor shower. The master bedroom was a dream - can see the stars at night through the skylight. Every room was better than the pictures show. House was an easy 10 minute walk to the beach in a quieter part of town so no crazy crowds - felt like we had the beach to ourselves. Also parking pass made bringing beach gear down very easy. The house has everything you could possibly need for the beach - chairs, umbrellas, boogey boards, bocce, toys for kids, stroller and fishing pole. The owners were very nice and extremely accommodating. This house is perfect for families, especially those with young kids. Our three year old daughter loved the "starfish" house and we cant wait to return next summer!
