The property is huge and very nice. The view is beautiful. The pool is nice, although working the heating controls is tricky and complicated. My only complaint would be that its a beach house with NO beach chairs. Renting them is an option but its very pricey. It was cheaper to buy chairs from Publix and use them. Overall, we loved it and would totally come back!

The house and the resort were beautiful. Had a little problem with the pool. It did not seem clean even after the owner came and looked at it. The beach was great and especially enjoyed having cabanas from Sandy's. The kids loved the resort pool just across the street.

There were some issues with pool which got cleared up after a few days but other than that everything was simply great.

Everything is outstanding, wow what a house on the beach. Ina prior review that we had read it said the elevator was noisy. We heard no noises except when using it of course

Property is wonderful! Spacious and full of everything you might need. Management responsive (private pool heater set too high, adjusted immediately) and professional. Neighborhood is beautiful and feels very resort-like with pool grill and beach bar down the street. Would highly recommend and would return!

Amazing! We could not have picked a better location. There was some confusion with the spa temperature...and it took some attention. But we thoroughly enjoyed the location, the heated pool/spa, the big beautiful home. We watched the dolphins play every morning about mid-morning from the 3rd story balcony. I would HIGHLY recommend. The elevator was so helpful for luggage and groceries, plus we had a couple of elderly that enjoyed the ride instead of the steps.

When your family group ranges from 73 years old to 4 months old and includes 7 children the age of 7 and below you have to be able to take care the needs in a wide range of ages.This house had it all from double laundry facilities, three refrigerators and two dishwashers. The pool was the perfect size for children with floaters to the hot tub to allow the seniors to soak and watch your kids and their kids having a great time splashing happily all at the same time.The kitchen is completely outfitted with everything you will need to prepare and serve meals for 16.A private access to the beach was particularly nice in a time where social distancing is so important.We can’t wait to gather our family again and enjoy another trip to this house in the future.

Great property. Spacious and clean.

When we arrived we had received the wrong door code and had to call to get the correct one. Once inside, the elevator was broken. Took until 7 that night to get it fixed after carrying luggage and supplies for 13 people up two flights of stairs. With a handicapped wife in a wheelchair, I had checked just a few days before check in to make sure it was in working order and told it was! The elevator pump kicks on and off about every 30 minutes during the night waking people up in the lower floor rooms. Kitchen hood exhaust doesn't work. The kitchen toasters didn't work. Only one garage is usable. The other one is full of construction material. Several of the bathroom toilets run all the time. Several of the outdoor siding doors will not lock.

The large upper floor area was great for the whole family to get together. The Beach was great and right out the back pool area and the community pools within walking distance was very convenient and the children enjoyed the kids area immensely.

We loved the house but it needs some upkeep. Air conditioner on 2nd floor soaked carpet in 2nd floor bedroom. Shower didn't work in one of the second floor bathrooms. We called maintenance several times never came except to fix air conditioner. Beautiful views from the 3rd floor balcony needs updating appliances in kitchen. Coffee pot. And a electric can opener. Alot of broken things in the house especially in the bathrooms

We have stayed in a couple of places in Ocesn Hammock but loved this one the best. Beautiful views and great functional house with lots of amenities.

When we decided to bring our kids and grandkids to Florida over Christmas we wanted to rent a place that had a pool/hot tub and was ocean front. We knew renting an oceanfront home would come with premium rent but my grandkids wanted to be able to walk in the sand and play in the ocean. We looked at the SeaGem and reviewed the photos and saw that it had both a pool/hot tub and ocean access. When we got to the place late Thursday we settled in and went to bed. When we got up on Friday and the kids wanted to jump into the pool it was freezing cold. The pool/hot tub heater was not turned on and did not work. We placed a call into Vacation Rental Pros (the management company) and were told we would get a call back right away for someone to come out and fix the pool/spa heater. We waited and waited and did not receive a call back. We tried to call back several times and finally on Monday (4 days into our 7 day rental) the pool guy came out. He said "someone should have come out to check the pool and turn it on before you guys arrived." Since our pool heater was not working on Friday we decided to go out on the beach. We walked down the walk way towards the beach and got to the end and found out that the steps had been washed away from hurricane that came through two months earlier in October. The association steps were also gone so there was no easy and safe way to get down to the beach for my grandkids or mother (the drop was 7-8 feet). When I called vacation rental pros about this I did not get a return call either (shocker)! I emailed them and asked why we were not informed we would not have access to the ocean when we rented an ocean front property and showed a walkway to the ocean in it's pictures. They emailed back and said they were sorry they did not tell us we had no access to the beach. I finally got somone on the phone to discuss this and was transferred to four different people from three different departments and no one would give me an answer. I said, I understand things like hurricanes happen but you can't mislead people into thinking they would have access to the ocean when they don't. We booked the SeaGem in November so they obviously knew then that there was no access to the beach and did not tell us. This is an example of bait and switch and I am not happy about it. I asked for monetary consideration since we paid for oceanfront property with access to the ocean and did not get a response.

Family get together of 16 people from all around the country. We fit great into the home and overall very nice. The house could use some minor cosmetic repairs and TLC (fixing broken cabinet hinges, trim work, inspect shower doors, etc.) but otherwise perfect location and beach/pool access and kids loved it. Had to make several maintenance calls throughout the stay for broken fridge, elevator, pool heater, but all minor issues and did not deter from having a great time.

Could not have been better. Not a single problem the entire trip. Perfect.

A lovely spacious home with fabulous view of the ocean. Customer service was very helpful. Some contradictory info (number of cars that can park in garages) and rules (who puts out the trash). Overall great house and holiday. Downsides: one oven barely working, no sound insulation between floors making a couple of the second floor bedrooms noisy from the kitchen and dining areas on the top floor, and my grandson's swimming mask disappeared on Wednesday night from the house pool area. Only thing that would keep us from coming back is the over-strict (even for an HOA) HOA rules.

We had 14 family members stay at Sea Gem for a 50th birthday celebration and it was fantastic! The location and condition for the house were both excellent! Enough space for everyone to relax and enjoy the house,pool, and beautiful beach!!

Nice house and overall an excellent stay. Pots & pans in the house are lacking----need to be replaced.

Beyond impressed by two things: The house layout/functionality and VRPros customer service. The house layout was awesome! We had a big group there and everyone commented on how efficient and wonderful the layout worked. The layout and amenities aligned so it was a wonderful stay for everyone. Customer service always quickly responded with any questions I had - no matter how small or last minute. This made me comfortable to stay because I knew I had this great resource at my finger tips. Thanks again for being the backdrop of a great experience for us!

Wonderful! The place was exceptional!

This house lives even bigger than it is! We had a wonderful time! The only thing I would add is another refrig in the pantry upstairs so there are two. With a house that sleeps 24 you need 2. But we made it work. Thanks for a great house!

Our family group of 13 was very comfortable at the Sea Gem. It exceeded our expectations! We also really appreciated the e-mails from Vacation Rental Pros to remind us of trash pickup days and what we were expected to do when leaving the property at the end of our vacation. Thanks for the wonderful experience!!

We had a mini-family reunion and fit everyone comfortably with plenty of sleeping space and common space for everyone. We were pleasantly surprised with the extra beach toys available for the kids. The kitchen was well stocked with amble utensils and dinnerware.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sea Gem this past week. Good WiFi and the "best" hot water. A couple of things that need some help. 1 - We were always out of ice. The kitchen fridge ice maker hardly worked at all. We had to purchase bags of ice every day. Recommend installing an ice maker in the house. 2 - Also, the kitchen fridge freezer drawer appears to be off the slide. 3 - We ran into a lot of spiders. You may want to have a pest control guy take a look. 4 - More dish towels (we bought some and left them at the house) and some beach chairs would be a nice touch. All that said, we had a great time and plan to be back next year. Thanks, Rich Entlich
