Spent 10 days in heaven at this wonderful studio located in a residential area (very uncrowded beach). Listing is just as described, right on the beautiful and pristine beach in Kailua with a beautiful setup on the lawn to sunbath, enjoy your morning coffee, read or just enjoy the view. Eva is an incredibly caring and gracious host, very helpful with local sites, events and shops. Studio had a well-stocked kitchen, with fridge and hot plate, plenty of towels and beach amenities. Would absolutely recommend; we spent time all over Oahu, but loved returning to our home base beach. Local farmers markets/food truck festivals were a great way to sample many local eats. Each segment of the island has its own vibe, and we didn't have a bad meal anywhere. Stores/restaurants were very kind and happy to help with information. Bring water shoes for your excursions, and the sand in Waikiki was the hottest I'd ever felt, and we live not far from beaches. We went to China Walls and Sunset Beach for the sunset, but sitting on the patio and stargazing while waiting for first light and sunrise was amazing. Was in town for an outrigger competition and the property was perfect for why I come to visit Oahu. Beachfront, really nice accomodations and Eva was the just great. Highly recommend.

We had a great time staying in Eva’s beachside property. The views were incredible, and the location was perfect. We were attending a wedding celebration at the nearby military base and went to other wedding events in Kailua. The home was perfectly located for both. We spent at least a little time everyday at the beach right outside the property. The amenities in the apartment were nice and Eva was so accommodating. The air conditioning takes awhile to cool the room so at times we were hot when we first got home, but once it cooled off it was perfect for getting ready, sleeping, etc. We spent most of our time out and about, but we would recommend this place to anyone interested in staying in this area of Oahu!

Eva goes above and beyond to be sure guests have everything they could possibly need. Wonderful place! It was everything and more!! It was the perfect place, and the only problem, was we had to leave!!! The most beautiful and relaxing vacation home! Thank you for the great place!!

The lanai was a perfect place for your first cup of coffee, or a cocktail at the end of a sun-filled day! Beach access is right out your door & there is secured parking. The room was clean & had all the basic amenities to get you started on your vacation. The location is very convenient to world-famous beaches! Eva was extremely prompt with all communications. Would love to stay here again!

Great location right on the beach!

This was by far the best little spot and we are so glad we found it. Our little family had the most enjoyable stay. Eva is wonderful and we can't wait to come again!

I loved staying here. The location is wonderful—right on the beach and what a view! Eva is a warm and caring hostess. Kailua is a fun “locals” town to stay in. Wish I were still there now. 😄

We had a fantastic stay at Eva and Herman’s pied a terre on their gorgeous beachfront home. Everything was as advertised with all the amenities, some of which weren’t needed- like the air conditioning. Eva and Herman were incredibly welcoming and were very helpful with recommendations. Can’t wait to come back!

Property location is beachfront, which is convenient and great for quick beach visits. We stayed in the upstairs suite which had a comfortable bed, but the urine odor in the bathroom upon entering the apt. on day one was overwhelming! We had to shut that door to keep the smell out of the living area. Maintenance issues with an electrical outlet in the unit and the garage door need to be addressed. A note warning that a $5 charge will be added to the bill every time the window AC is left on when not in the unit felt petty, especially when paying for an entire week's stay. Finally, an impromptu visit from a bug exterminator and the host at our sliding glass door was not appreciated during our stay.

Our stay was wonderful! The views were stunning and the location could not be better - right on the beach. The rental was clean and well appointed and nicely decorated with island vibes! Eva was a pleasure to work with and she was accessible if we needed anything. We hope to return next year - this place can’t be beat!

This property and Mrs Eva provided us a slice of paradise to celebrate our 30th anniversary. The ocean view and breaking waves are incredible. You won’t be disappointed with this place!!!

Could not have been better! Everything was perfect.

Absolutely wonderful location. We chose not to use the A/C so we could hear the waves all night. The view of the ocean and steps to the quiet, gorgeous beach (with view of the Mokes islands) were exactly what we wanted. Eva lives in the house and was always available, offering to help us with anything we needed. She even offered my husband sunglasses when his were lost in the surf. We highly recommend this lovely place.

Eva was there to greet us with her lovely aloha welcome. The unit is right on the beach, where the sunrise and sunset are amazing. The unit is compact, ideal for a couple, and has all the practical needs taken care of. There is a private car space, use of Eva’s lovely garden, and private access to the beach. This property is a little gem on Oahu- would highly recommend if you are looking for somewhere quiet, yet close to all amenities

It was awesome - the view was breathtaking!

Eva and Rose are wonderful hosts. Their place was probably the base of the best vacation I've ever had. Picture just minutes from the beach with incredible water and beach views. The upstairs apartment is one big room with bathroom with loft ceiling that catches the trade wind breezes with the sound of the surf in the background. Picture sitting out on your private small deck with your morning coffee or evening glass of wine overlooking the beach. Kailua and this rental don't get any better for a wonderful laid back vacation.
