My family and I had a great time in this house. It was 30 of us and this house had plenty of room for all of us.

The property was nice, we had a great time and a great work out climbing the stairs. Wifi wasn’t too great but luckily we were there for the beach and pool. Highly recommend, big cozy house for a large group. The house had, napkins, toilet paper, detergent, dish soap and a sponge to clean dishes wish. There was also a dishwasher with soap.

First off, let me qualify my review by saying, I normally only give a review if the property is exceptional or if it was a disaster. This property was neither. But, due to the large amount I paid to stay here, it warrents my honest review. Our week stay (Saturday-Friday) was over $10,000. This property housed all 22 of us with plenty of room. Our group consisted of 9 adults and 13 children, ages 16-6 years old. One teen slept on a futon in an out-of-the-way hallway on the 3rd floor. All others slept in bedrooms. The property is interesting, it's a large old house that has probably been modified a few times. Quite frankly, it is in need of a makeover. This home has been used heavily and it shows. There are signs of use and abuse everywhere. Kitchen cabinet doors are broken, doors to bedrooms don't open as thy should, tile is broken and duck-taped in place, refrigerator door handles are misaligned, furniture is old and very tired looking. The place is functional, especially for a large group, but that is all. I definitely expected more for what I paid. One great aspect was the air-conditioning. The property has two units, as it should. Once we figured that out and reset the thermostats to a comfortable temperature, we were able to handle staying in this broken down old home. The supposedly well-stocked kitchen is a miss mash of whatever is working and leftover. Nothing matches, several different plates, bowls, pots with lids that don't fit, etc. No, I would not return!

There was plenty of space plus extra for the 10 of us that stayed. It was like being on vacation with a group of people but also having enough space to have your own time your spouse! SPI was very prompt and responsive to any questions/concerns we had. We had a great time and would stay at this property again!

We had a great time at this rental. Great location and within walking distance to everything. The pool and hot tub were a big hit. The pool table was also great. Nice big kitchen which was well stocked. The only problem was the water had to be turned off part of a day because of a city issue. We celebrated two birthdays and our 50th wedding anniversary. Perfect place for our whole family. Thank you for a very memorable vacation with our family.

Plenty of room for my team of five. This is a very nice property close to both beach and bay. Easy check in/out, just wish we could check in early. Otherwise, property is close to several stores and restaurants, all within walking distance. There is also a bus on the island but we didn't use it. Beds were comfy, a/c was perfect, and kitchen was adequate with plenty of utensils. We did not have any issues during our visit and SPI rentals was very commincative from booking, arrival, and check out. I'd definitely recommend this property for any group outing.

Booked for a family vacation (15 people) and everyone was able to have their own space. Third floor bunks room was a little hotter than the rest though. Other than that kitchen was big enough for half the family to be doing things and still move around. Will definitely book again if have that many people.

We had a group of 21 people who stayed at this house. There was plenty of room and the house was clean and well equipped. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms were larger than they looked in the pictures. We loved using the pool and hot tub in the evenings after long days of doing things around the island. We enjoyed our stay very much and I would recommend this house to anyone.

We were celebrating my husband's 40th birthday. We did have a nice time. The location was great! A few things that need work was housekeeping and items for the house. Definitely should invest in plastic cups for a house that has an amazing pool. Glad we had the chance to stay at this VRBO / SPI property.

We like to visit island once a while with a group of friends, we stay this house because it has enough rooms for every family, even the teens, got their own rooms! Of course, rooms are very comfortable and clean. Especially, the location of this house closes to the restaurants that we usually like to go, very convenient!! Fortunately, we are so blessed to enjoy after long pandemic!!

While the house had the required space needed for all family members, with large bedrooms, the house and patio furniture were not at all clean. Everything outside had to be cleaned by me/us before using. The kitchen drawers were equally unclean and consequently we did not use ANY of them. The cloth furniture was full of spots and stains. We were grateful there was no carpeting, and actually, we would have not stayed had there been. The pools flirtation system left a lot to be desired as well as the way the pool heat/hot tub worked. You could either run the heat through one or the other, not both at the same time. With ages from 81 down to 12 there were some members of the family that never got in due to the temperature being too cold. Also the water was very cloudy, giving thought to its sanitation. On the plus side I can say when we called about the pool someone came over quickly to show us how to alternate between the pool and hot tub, not an ideal situation. Also when we used the BBQ management was called and quickly came with a stick lighter to get the propane lit. I'm really shocked that you could charge me a cleaning fee when we probably left the place cleaner than when we found it. For that amount of rent all of the interior cloth couches and chairs need a deep cleaning or replacement and all the patio furniture, with the exception of the table & chair set should be replaced. Everyone in the family noted how much smaller the pool looked in person than online. We loved the island, this was our second trip, but sadly if choosing again we would not stay at that location. Clearly the pictures online were taken when everything was brand new, with a wide angle lens, and not the way it REALLY looks.

Amazing location and next to everything and walk-able for the entire trip. You rely do not need a car. You can walk to the beach, restaurants and entertainment. The pool is heated so even when it was cold the kids had something to do. The pool table and Foosball table helped on days it was too windy to go outside for the kids. Large bar area with fridge helped keep us organized and out of the kitchen for drinks.

We had a great time. The place is awesome and we could walk to the beach. We were located on the bay side but not a far walk to the ocean side. Great food every where we went. Weather was a little on the chilly side so we didn't get to use the pool as much as we wanted but we found lots of fun places to hang. Rode horses on the beach and there was a lot of good music everywhere. Great memories ❤️

We took a Christmas vacation with extended family, total of 15 of us. The house had plenty of room for everyone, lots of sleeping space and lounge space. My parents were supposed to have joined us and I ended up thankful they didn’t. There are a lot of stairs that would not have been easy on them. None of the bedrooms have a bathroom attached (minus one off the kitchen but it had bunkbeds in it) so it wasn’t an ideal set up for the older family members. Kids enjoyed the pool but the hot tub never really got hot. The house was in a great location, we could easily walk to the beach or restaurants. We did have a few concerns and the property manager answered quickly and came to assist. My cons would be that the house just wasn’t very welcoming. Other vrbo’s and beach rentals we’ve stayed at have had some beach items that people could use. For example: beach chairs, toy, etc. That’s always a bonus. There were no board games or lounge blankets. Other houses have left little welcome folders telling about the best places to eat and shop, and fun beaches etc. Just those minor homey details that we didn’t realize how much we’ve appreciated until we stayed at a house that didn’t have them. Still, overall a great experience!

My wife & I rented this home for our wedding party and it was even better than we expected! The four bathrooms and extra space made getting ready for the wedding so much easier. The bridal party had plenty of room for hair and makeup and we even used the large balcony and pool area for group photos before the ceremony. Booking this property made things a lot easier on us and took the stress away from the day so we could just enjoy it. Would definitely recommend this house for any large group that would like to avoid cramped up hotel rooms or small condos. Great rental house for our family reunion. Each one of my siblings were able to have their own room and the nieces and nephews claimed the bedrooms with the bunk beds. The kitchen is spacious and had everything we needed to cook meals for our big family! The dining table was large enough for family game night and close to the pool so it was easy for us to keep an eye on kids going in and out. The second living room upstairs was a huge bonus we didn't know we needed, it gave the kids somewhere indoors to hangout and watch their own movies together so the adults could relax downstairs. Highly recommend this house & SPI Rentals! Great staff and top notch service! So many great memories were made here and we can't wait to come back for our 2022 reunion.

We had a great time in this home. We had 15 people. It was clean. One of the king bedroom's matress was on up side down, too hard to sleep on. The pool & hot tub was fine. The kitchen was another story. This place is set up for more people than we had. But the fridge was too small. We had to buy ice chests to keep some stuff in. The ice maker did not work so we had to buy ice. There items you would expect to find in a kitchen that were not there. But there were 3 can openers & only one worked. I would return to this property but would like to see a few changes in the kitchen like a bigger fridge or a second fridge.

This house has good structure and great potential but it's in need of some upgrades. The mattresses are hard as the floor. I have never rented or slept in anything so awful. All of my guest are now complaining about back problem and no one got a good night sleep. I typically like to rent houses on the level of my own home and this house was a disappointment. Put some money into upgrading the bathroom sinks, sink faucets and showers and purchase better quality mattresses for each bedroom. At least the guest would not dread going to sleep. The microwave in the kitchen had been rusted out and they didn't bother replacing it before my stay. The Kitchen sink faucet knob was broken and needs to be replaced. The jets in the spa barely work.

House is very spacious and there are enough bedrooms and bathrooms for a large family. Pictures are pretty accurate. Location is nice and pool is a bonus. We rented golf carts to travel the island. Had a blast. Beach is nice. Pool was awesome. Cons - the bathrooms smelled like pee even after a shower. House could use a deep cleaning. 2nd floor has two couches that have the queen-size pull out mattresses. No cushion at all. We wanted to use it so the kids can have one night to sleep together in one room. Didn't happen though cause you could feel the springs. Overall, we really enjoyed the time we spent together here. We have been renting this house for the last 5 years. Over those years we have seen various improvements (New A/C, Stove, patio furniture, etc). With a house this size and the amount of tenants it sees, it is not uncommon to experience some issues. This last trip the dishwasher was not working and no hot water in the kitchen sink. In addition the hot tub was not heating. In every instance when we reach out to SPI and they are VERY reactive and have someone address it immediately. In both instances they were very minor: hot water valve to sink/dishwasher was turned off (who knows why) and hot tub was just a setting adjustment. Despite the minor inconveniences over the years, there is NO BETTER place to host large gatherings on the island! I would suggest a "punch": list that confirms the house is 100% ready for the next tenant. Think home inspection :-) Finally, I suspect the "bedbug" concerns are really just mosquito bites. This past weekend they were relentless :-( Next year, we plan on bringing fogger and such to try and minimize them. I can state we DID NOT experience a bed bug issue.

Overall the property was very nice we enjoyed our time there but they got bed bugs in a lot of their bedrooms. Few of my family members got bites all over. Really upset about that they did not inspect before renting the property.

First off, I've stayed in many VRBO's across many countries and I can tell you that this property was the dirtiest I've seen. From the moment we arrived to fly covered overflowing trash bins greeting us in the driveway to the parting gifts of bed bug bites we got all it all at this place. You'd think in the middle of the Delta case ramp up that cleanliness would be priority from rental agencies but these folks must have missed the message. I'll give a quick list of pros and cons. I'll get the pros out of the way first: 1: Pool was very clean 2: Lots of separate bedrooms with many beds 3: We found a open bag of gummy bears in the couch cushions 4: A/C worked good CONS: 1: Hair everywhere 2: Kitchen cabinets had food smeared on outside 3: Black mildew on most A/C vents 4: Small roaches everywhere on kitchen counters 5: A/C Return air almost plugged off with dust 6: Mildew in showers 7: Bed bugs 8: Living room furniture had all kinds of stains on the fabric (gross) In summary, if you're looking to immerse yourself and your guests to a 3rd world experience I highly recommend this place. However, if you're looking for a clean destination that's up to most peoples standards I'd keep searching because this isn't it. And I won't even mention what I paid for this 3 day experience.

My extended family of 15 people stayed at the house. The house is very large with 4 bathrooms. The only ground floor bath is accessed through a bedroom. I like a firm mattress and the beds were comfortable. Kitchen sink was stained but fully equipped with dishes, pots and pans and two coffeemakers. There were no coffee filters, oil, salt and pepper or spices which are often left by prior guests but not in this case. Plenty of bath towels but few washcloths and no kitchen towels. When we arrived some light bulbs were out, grass was overgrown with dog poop. Owner responded promptly and sent people over that day to address. Pool area has a number of chairs and a large shaded area which was much appreciated. It was a 5 minute drive or 10-15 min walk to the gulf beaches. Near restaurants,grocery and shops We had a great time!

I had this awesome property rented in 2020 when the brunt of COVID hit. After losing an immediate family member to COVID, the gracious owner, with the assistance of SPI Rentals, provided us a credit for 2021 with just a 3 week notice. Stayed there last week (7/30 - 8/2). The property was clean, beautiful, and the service SPI rental provided when our BBQ propane tank was empty was fast and professional. Highly recommend the place. This house was excellent and fit our needs perfectly! We had several families come together from across the US [siblings, cousins and their kiddos]. Having 3 stories to the house was perfect, because it let those with little babies/napping kiddos get some sleep on the third floor, while also letting the older kiddos and adults have fun at the pool or congregate downstairs. It was about a 10 min walk from the closest beach access. Some of the family walked, and others drove to beach access parking. This was also located a quick 5-10 min walk to some great coffee/taco spots as well as a party harbor area with some nice restaurants and bars. The only downsides are an early check out [10 am], but that seems fairly common on the island, The SPI team was quick to respond during the reservation process and very helpful. I would definitely recommend this house and the SPI team!

This was our 2nd time staying at this house and once again is was awesome. To our luck it was in d 60s that weekend but w d heated pool we had no problems w d weather! We had a small issue but it was immediately taken care of, but will definately be getting this home once again!!

The property was excellent and centrally located. The pool was wonderful and the home was well maintained and equipped.

WE just returned from a wonderful 6 day stay and could not have been happier! We were travelling with six teenage boys (5 seniors) and six parents. The boys had the entire 2nd floor and everyone had an actual bed to themselves plus a hang out room. Second floor bath has the double sink/vanity outside and the toilet and shower together. Parents took over the third floor - two big bathrooms! The entire place is bigger than I expected - photos make it look very big but the drone video makes it look way smaller than it really is. Pleasantly surprised! The location is great - short walk to the beach and to some great bars/restaurants (Tom & Jerrys, Tequila Sunset, Lobo del Mar, Longboards) plus the grocery store and liquor store are about two short blocks. Plus an cute amusement park with thrill rides and go carts. Pretty much anything previously mentioned as a complaint was fixed - clean & plenty of everything - silverware, towels etc. Hot tub was great once you figure it out. HIGHLY responsive staff at the office even for little things- brought us a new pool cue and balls for the foosball table right away. Dryer might need to be replaced but they came over right away to look at it. All and all this was the PERFECT place for us and we would highly recommend it!

The house was perfect for my group of 17. We got to enjoy the grill by the pool. The hot tub wasn't getting as warm as we would like but when we asked about it they hopped right on it. Great service

House has plenty of space, great amenities, and great location. Hot tub gets nice and hot. Heated pool was great to have after a day at the beach. Check out was very simple.

We had plenty of room for our family of 15 plus an infant. Kids enjoyed the pool.
