I cannot say enough good things about this property! It was spotless, unbelievably well-equipped with anything you need throughout your stay, plenty of space for multiple families without feeling crowded and of course, a prime spot right on the river. Thank you, Christie and family, for sharing your beautiful home with us - we hope to be back soon!

Great location for boating the chain of lakes. Our family, adult children and grandkids were very comfortable with the accommodations. The house is nicely furnished and the yard and grounds are lovely. The owner was quick to respond to questions. We really enjoyed our time there only wish we would have taken a day or two to just enjoy the house, yard and neighborhood.

This was our second time staying at Apple Blossom cottage on Indian River and you just can’t beat the location, the views of the river, this beautiful and comfortable home!
We were able to tie up our boat right in front for easy access and enjoyed cruising the lakes & rivers!

This place is perfect for us. Dock holds our 30 foot boat! 6 adults and room for more! (3 couples). Cable tv and internet! Close to town and so much more great things!

Had a wonderful time at the apple blossom cottage. it was just perfect for my family and I. lots of room , laid out well, the best stocked kitchen I've ever rented from. beautifully decorated. Nice, nice sea wall to pull up 2 at the end of a wonderful day on a lot of water. The only reason I would reluctantly give it a 4 star instead of 5 is because the Mold smell in the garage would sometimes come through into the house. But not a real huge problem. I would recommend to anyone. Your sure to make wonderful memories.

We planned a trip to Indian River with 4 other couples and enjoyed every single second. We have a 21 ft Malibu surf boat and our other friends brought a pontoon and we had room to leave both boats in the water. The location is perfect super close to Burt Lake. The neighbors were fantastic and house was SOOOOO clean. Big kitchen and beautiful rooms. I totally recommend this house and we will be booking again!!!

We had a wonderful stay at the Apple Blossom house. Very well equipped, clean, comfortable beds, plenty of space and a great spot to dock our 22ft. boat. We hope to return!

We had a great time at this cottage. We always enjoy the River and we were able to dock our boat right in front of the cottage. The home was in great shape and had plenty of space for our family. We had plenty of space for our group. We were able to go for a boat ride every day. We would highly recommend this property.

This was our second time at this property and plan on going back next year. The home is clean and beautifully decorated. Christie the owner is awesome and so easy to work with. We all had an amazing time.

We have stayed at this property five or so years ago. We revisited this past week with my husband’s family. We have had some health scares over the past few years and really needed a Woodruff family vacation. We were so pleased to spend time at the Apple Blossom Cottage! Made many memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you doesn’t seem like enough!

We loved staying right on Indian River and having access to Burt & Mullet Lake as well as neighboring rivers like Crooked and Cheboygan! Pure Michigan at its best!
After a fun-filled day boating, we came “home” to a beautiful, comfortable place to relax and watch other boaters as they drifted past!
The cute town of Indian River was easy to walk to and we enjoyed the shops & restaurants close by. But no need to buy supplies as this cottage came well stocked!
We look forward to another stay at Apple Blossom cottage soon!

Indian river 2022
We’ve been coming to Indian river for the last 3 years, we’ve always stayed on the river. This was a great place.

Great location, beautiful home!!
Everything about this home is pure perfection! The location is as good as it gets. The home is well stocked with everything you will need. The home owners are slowly updating the place beautifully, but the remnants of the past are so good. Every room in the house feels like its own private wing. Beds and pillows are fantastic! We've stayed twice and cant wait for the next time! We love your home and are so very thankful you share it! Thanks Christie for being such wonderful host!!

Clean, fully equipped (streaming large screen TV with surround sound; fully equipped kitchen, including spices, etc.) Great location - minutes to Burt Lake (West side of the Straits Highway bridge), minutes walk to "downtown", and easy access to Mullett Lake. Great host -- responsive, helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.

We love this place. We come up to fish and having the dock out in front of the house is great. We can get to Burt or Mullet Lake. The place and location is beautiful. Sit out by the river and watch the boats and scenery is great. We'll be back

Lovely, family friendly home
Perfect location for a family vacation. Well furnished, equipped home with multiple decks on the Indian River. Beautiful dock provided a perfect spot to boat watch as well as tie off your boat or launch you kayaks- nice yard for children to play

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Apple Blossom Cottage. We had direct access to the river which enhanced our fun for the week. This house was in a perfect location, where we could access the grocery store, the restaurants, Big Bear Adventures, and ice cream stores. Defiantly would stay here again! Thanks again!
