This is a very family friendly rental!! It has a wonderful kitchen for cooking n gathering. The outdoor space is spectacular! Family bonfires sharing stories and reminiscingand somoresThe location is fabulous for boating, kayaking or tubing in river or lakes. Beach is just steps away! Close to town n grocery store. Lots of options for day trips: Mackinaw City, Mackinac Island, City of Petoskey, etc. Watch out for upstairs' bathroom floor tile very SLIPPERY!!

This is our second visit here and the place works out great for our family vacation. Kitchen is well stock as we ate all of our meals in except for one during our stay. Home is located one house away from park and beach, so easy to get to. Plenty of room to sleep for our group of nine.

Wonderful home and location in Indian River! Loved watching the boats and tubing down the River! Very clean and welcoming.

Everything was very nice. We really only slept here and ate breakfast as our family has a home in the area. This was used for extra bedrooms. Very clean, and modern, right on the river and in town. I have had issues with VRBOs canceling on me and right from the start I had interaction with the property and felt good about the reservation. Highly recommend.

We had a great week out on the lake boating and the seawall fit the two boats, 27' & 28' so we didn't have to trailer them in the evening. The home easily fit our friends and family that stayed with us. I'm only giving this 4 stars instead of 5 though because the furniture and the mattresses were so uncomfortable! The furniture has lost all support and kills your back to sit in it for more than 10 minutes. Pretty sad when people were picking a dining room chair over the sofa and recliner and other chair. We brought down the wicker chairs from upstairs because those were more comfortable than the living room furniture. And everyone got up in pain and complaining about how terrible the mattresses were every morning. It does seem like with as much as this house cost for one week, the owners could afford to spend a couple weeks of income on replacing the furniture and mattresses. Even some cheap furniture from Big Lots would be better than what's there.

Our family had a wonderful stay. The house was very clean and well stocked. The ice maker and extra refrigerator in the garage helped greatly with keeping beverages cold and having plenty of ice available for the cooler. The dock upgrades are very nice and we felt completely comfortable keeping our boat tied up all week.

House is located right on the river with easy access to Burt Lake and short walk to Beach/Park. Plenty room indoor and lots of outdoor seating. Rented a pontoon boat for the week and had plenty of room to dock it behind the house. Nice dock area with table and chairs and benches. Would definitely go back again in the future. Had minor issue with some of the bed linens, but it was quickly resolved by the owners.

House was really nice and located in the perfect spot, especially since we brought our boats, the convenience of it being right on the River was great!

So enjoyed our stay with family! Location and home are great for our family. S’mores every night around the campfire which we all looked forward to!!

This was an excellent choice for our family gathering to celebrate my parents’ anniversary. Two families stayed in the house (9 people), while the third family stayed with my parents. All of us were able to gather for meals at this house due to the spacious kitchen and open floor plan (15 people). We cooked our meals here every day and found everything we needed to make large family meals and toast marshmallows over the fire-pit on the patio. The kids played in the grassy back yard, and we docked our pontoon boat right behind the house! We will definitely rent this house again in the future.

We had a great time in this beautiful home. If we had any negative comment at all it would be that the TVs were difficult to operate because they were streaming instead of standard cable. We didn’t have much experience with it. Although we weren’t there to watch rv it would have been nice to have it in the morning with our coffee. Would highly recommend this place!

Excellent location for winter fun. We were within 30min of both Nub’s Nob and Boyne Highlands. Highly recommend Boyne Highlands. We also really enjoyed the groomed cross country ski trails about 10min away. Our teenagers loved the big bedroom with 5 beds.

We absolutely loved our stay here. We had a group of 10 (friends/spouses) and loved that we got to have a common space to hang out. We drove to Mackinac City to spend the day at Mackinac Island, and then came back to make a campfire and spend the night. We are hoping to come back and stay in the summer as well to utilize Burt Lake and go boating!
