I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a lovely home but when we arrived the yard was littered with trash left by the cleaning staff and scattered by animals. The house smelled like a wet dog on the inside, the icemaker didn't work, and the light switch on the golf cart was broken. The sheets on the master bed were stained with ink marks and caused a rash until re-washed in hot water.
Further, the pricing info provided by VRBO was different than what the management company requested. After a long weekend, the customer service department responded and was able to correct golf cart and icemakers issues, so the rest of the week wasn't a total loss.

Reviewer Comments: This almost new home is on a quiet cul-de-sac in the village of Osceola Hills The home is clean and bright inside and uncluttered and has a large lanai that gets the morning sun and is cool in the hotter afternoons. The garage is also over-sized with plenty of room for kayaks, bikes etc. that you might want to bring with you for your visit. It was close to Colony and Rohan Regional Rec Centers as well as the Sarasota Driving Range and several golf courses. 10 minutes to Brownwood, 15 to Sumter, but I liked being away from the crowds during winter season. It is also just a few blocks through the neighborhood to the neighborhood pool and the Morse Blvd. Cart Path, so I always felt safe not having to drive the golf cart on the road very much. I hardly saw or heard any of the neighbors near the lanai, so it was very private in the back. Downhome Properties was helpful with any needs that I had during my 3.5 month stay.
