This is an excellent house on the south side of Tamarindo Beach. Surfing is great and less crowded than in the north part of the beach. The house has everything you need and the customer service was fantastic.

We stayed 3 days in Tamarindo and loved it! The people were so friendly and helpful! The restaurants were plentiful and tue food was wonderful. Would stay again.

Spent a week here surfing, our first Costa Rica trip. Roger, William and the team were great and helpful getting us oriented and always available for questions and help. House very comfortable, clean, well equipped and i was able to work from the office with good internet. Amazing location right on the beach, good surf break right out the back gate. Walked to both Playa Langosta and Playa Grande for variety. Nearby grocery and all the shops and restaurants of Tamarindo, all walkable. Can't really think of a negative. Highly recommended.

This is a wonderful location. The front of house outside gate is a great spot so lots of people hang out there. Not a real bad thing, just not always a true front row seat to beach! The house has a beautiful ceiling, but there are no walls going to the ceiling, so there is NO privacy in your bedroom are bathroom! You can hear everything that is going on!!! so people should know that!!!

Great house in an ideal location. Close to town so you can walk but away from the hustle and bustle. Very safe neighborhood.

Was everything it said it was and more. Really feel we got the best place. Plenty of amenities from beach chairs to sunblock to A/c to beach

As good as the beachfront location was, the overall service was even better. From the ease of the airport pick up to collecting items on our shopping list was outstanding. We also needed an ice chest on spur of the moment for the fish we caught and Willy was able to get us one. Everyone was extremely impressed with the entire experience of this stay! 10 out of a 10.

This was the last part of our trip in Costa Rica and or stay here was wonderful and relaxing.

Absolutely outstanding! The management team understood our lack of familiarity with the area and helped us with issues before we even knew they were issues. We couldn’t have asked for a better host. Recommend this property, it’s right in the sweet spot of Tamarindo!!

Great location, very clean and relaxing

Location, location, location - literally steps to the Pacific! Nothing like waking up and looking out to the ocean and sitting back and listening to the sound of the waves from the residence. It's also very central to food and shopping - literally in the center of everything, without feeling crowded. Many amenities, and the resources provided by the owner (chairs/paddleboards etc) facilitated an enjoyable stay. Both owner and manager were extremely communicative and provided helpful recommendations.

Our experience with the Casa del Mar hosts was great! Casa Del Mar has the best location on Tamarindo beach. It is within waling distance to all the action in Tamarindo, but far enough away to be peaceful and relaxing.

The location was ideal. We swam in the ocean every day, swam out to the island several times, walked along the beach to get to restaurants and coffee in town, and even caught a few waves right in front of the house. The house itself was the perfect size for my family of four, and more than once the teens declared how much they loved being in this place rather than a hotel in the middle of town.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The location is close enough to walk into Tamarindo, but far enough away from the action to be a peaceful getaway. We spent a lot of time on the beach and surfed out front every day. We saw howler monkeys in the trees above the property. The grounds were well maintained as was the house. We loved the open air feel of the house and it was cool enough at night to sleep well with the windows open so that we could head the many bird sounds that came each morning.

Very cozy house right on the beach with great ocean views. Casa Del Mar has the best location on Tamarindo beach, with all the cooking supplies you’ll need and 2 comfortable beds. Lots of monkey visitors in the trees above the patio & and an iguana too! Thank you Roger & William for arranging our daughters ride from the airport & answering all of our questions! We’ll be back!

The place is just as advertised. Right on the beach, secure and very close to town.

Tamarindo is hopping.

The beach that is right outside the property is wonderful for walking, swimming, surfing and all things ocean. The property is just a short (5-10 minute) walk from a busier part of town but it is not right in the busy section, which was nice. There is a flat shady area just beyond the back gate, between the property and the beach, where people sometimes set up a tent for rentals, conduct surf lessons (the intro part), etc. during the day, but it is far enough from the house itself that it did not bother us at all. William the property manager was responsive to all our questions and put us in touch with a great surf instructor (Miguel). Kathy who did housekeeping was very thorough. Even though I don't usually opt for housekeeping, it was nice here due to the humid climate to have fresh towels. There are AC units in both bedrooms that are small but work very well - we were able to sleep very comfortably. There are lots of gates and keys that you have to use to get in and out, which took a little getting used to, but it seems that is just typical for the area and the house does feel very safe and secure. We did not use the TVs at all so cannot comment on those. But the house has good wifi and the kitchen was well stocked. The only "disappointment" was that we did not see any monkeys from the property - but we learned that if you walk a short way down the beach and turn in along one of the public access roads that go between the beach and the road, there may be some monkeys in those trees. Seems the monkeys don't hang out so close to the beach, but that is one of the best things about the house so no complaints there. One last note - the house has an open ceiling structure so the walls do not go all the way up to the ceiling. Think this allows for better airflow and circulation, but you do lose some privacy in terms of sound. Was no problem for us but might be something to keep in mind depending on who you are traveling with. Overall was happy with this pick and would recommend and stay there again.

Rogers places is better than advertised. It is in prime location and you can walk out the door right onto the beach. In addition, the property manager is available for anything you need. We locked ourselves out one night and within minutes he was there to let us in. Great experience and great house;

I can’t rave enough about my stay at Thus beautiful home. The house was exactly as pictured in listing but even better. The grounds were immaculate. Roger was always immediately responsive to any question that I had regarding my stay no matter how inane my question may have been. The location was absolutely perfect. On the beach and a a 10 minute walk on the beach, passing several restaurants and bars along the way, to town. Loved walking out of back courtyard and being immediately at the beach. We spent our evenings perched in the two chairs that overlooked the back area and had direct view of the pacific. My only complaint is that time seemed to pass too quickly! I highly recommend this property!

Wonderful property and location, staff and owners were very helpful!

Great location! In the quieter part of town, but an easy walk to everything. The property was as described, and was very clean. Easy access to the beach, nice ocean front property. We loved our stay. The screen was broken on the sliding doors so we did get more bugs coming in than we liked, but that was really the only issue. Great host, great communication, and we would stay there again.

I don’t want to say much more to ensure we can rent it again. Roger and team are amazing. House has most smaller items stocked which is always a great touch (some coffee, sugars etc...) we will be back!

The location of the property is one of the best that I have ever experienced. The property manager, William, was very nice and extremely accessible. The town is great and the property itself is very clean and open. The only thing that I would change, if possible, would be to have the option of not having the cleaning crew visit during our stay. Otherwise, it was an excellent experience all the way around
