This house is perfect for a large group! Easy to walk into town. Highly recommend!

We stayed over Memorial Day weekend and could not have asked for a better spot. The heated pool and hot tub were amazing, and the house was a very short walk to town. The house is well-kept and beautifully decorated. We hope to stay again soon!

Stayed here with work friends on a team building trip. It was super clean and the pool and hot tub were fantastic. The location allowed everyone to do their own thing and eat wherever they wanted. There was plenty of space for privacy or socializing. It was a wonderful trip.

This property is spectacular. It is spacious, well kept, adorably decorated and homey. The location was absolutely ideal as we were able to walk into town and no one had to drive. It was chilly, so we did not get to the beach - but I know that was in a short distance as well. The heated pool and hot tub were beautiful on a brisk fall weekend. There is plenty of room and bathrooms so everyone had their own space. We would all love to go back! Thank you!

This is a charming, large house with a great layout for a group: big kitchen space for hanging out, as well as a big dining room and two sitting rooms. It even has an office! The bedrooms and bathrooms are nicely appointed, and the location is great. We were there in September, and we really appreciated the hot tub!

The house was gorgeous!! Beautifully and comfortably decorated. Very spacious with fabulous outdoor living area made you feel like you had extra room. We enjoyed every meal outside next to the pool. We also loved how close it was to everything. Great location to walk to town and easy access to see the rest of the Vineyard. Plenty of parking for cars. We look forward to staying again!

My girlfriends and I had the best long weekend at this property. Denise was a lovely, communicative host, and her home is beautiful. Having stayed in Edgartown for many years, I can say that this is a truly prime location — very easily walkable to all of the best restaurants and shops in town, and still a manageable walk to the bay beach (Lighthouse Beach / Fuller St Beach). At the house itself, the pool / outdoor area are absolutely charming and a great space to spend time with a group. The inside of the house was impeccably situated as well. Can’t wait to find another excuse to stay here.

This property exceeded my expectations! It is within close walking distance of all shops and restaurants in edgartown and the property itself was beautiful. We were able to leave our bags on the porch the day we checked out to go downtown and walk around which was extremely convenient and appreciated! I hope to stay here again in the future!

To say we love this house is an understatement! Perfect for our multi generational large extended family. Amazing kitchen, plenty of space for a large group to gather and additional rooms (office and a den) when someone needs some quiet time. One of the best renovations this realtor has seen. We’ve stayed here before and can’t wait ton come back next year!

Perfect location in Edgartown rental in updated historic house with pool and enough rooms to accommodate several areas of activities at one time, i.e. reading, TV watching, game playing, jigsaw puzzle building and eating. Several French doors open to a lovely side porch and large outdoor dining table under a pergola provide more outside living.

This home was perfect for our family gathering and exactly as portrayed in the listing. The house was very clean and well appointed with linen, towels, outdoor furniture, kitchen equipment, etc. There are 2 separate snack/drink refrigerator drawers in the kitchen island that do not work, but otherwise all else in the house was in good working order. The property manager was very responsive regarding check in and had the property open and ready for us when we arrived. We couldn't figure out how to operate one of the TVs and he came right over and showed us what to do. The location is perfect, just 2 short blocks to the main drag in Edgartown and a short walk to the lighthouse beach. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend.

If you cook it has a complete kitchen, several sitting areas, several dining areas depending on what you’re looking for, and many sleeping areas — all in a spacious, beautifully renovated historic home in Edgartown, and just a few short blocks to Main Street!

A beautiful home conveniently located in a lovely Edgartown neighborhood. We were a small group but the house has lots of rooms to handle large groups or families plus the guest suite over the garage. Unfortunately our week was affected by extensive construction on the home next-door literally the other side of the fence every day from 8 AM till 5 PM which made enjoying the outdoor space difficult. It was even loud inside the house. Particularly frustrating because no one mentioned this despite our communications when booking. The house is very nice and well restored but needing maintenance in several areas: the clothes washer was not working properly, the refrigerator drawers in the island did not work at all, the pool heater is so old it would not heat the pool so we were only able to use the hot tub. And also not mentioned in the listing, they charge for propane use if you heat the pool (Maybe this is common for Martha’s Vineyard not sure but surprising given the rental rate). The patio furniture was somewhat falling apart and one of the umbrellas did not even work. Much of the upholstered furniture in The house needs updating, the cushions were quite uncomfortably flat except for the new tv room. And while they were beautifully made up the beds were not very comfortable, The mattresses seem quite old and uneven. Despite with the listing describes the owners garage is not available for use as it contains their vehicle and a pontoon boat and other outdoor equipment. We did have a very nice stay but this house needs some work to bring it back up to par.

Our family so enjoyed our week in Martha’s Vineyard at this particular home. We were here for a beloved niece’s wedding. This lovely home was beyond beautiful! It is quite large, beautifully furnished, immaculate and so close to all the restaurants and shops in Edgartown. We LOVED the pool and hot tub. The big porch out back was so comfortable and we spent most of our time out there. I can’t say enough good things about this home- it truly made our family gathering perfect!

This property was everything we had hoped for. The house had the bed/bath combos we needed to accommodate 7 adults. Having a separate guesthouse was a bonus . The kitchen and adjacent family room were the perfect places for everyone to gather. The outdoor spaces were extensions of the indoors. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub or cooling off in the pool surrounded by the beautiful garden. The location was fantastic-just a quick walk into Edgartown. This beautiful home was the perfect backdrop for our MV vacation. Many thanks!

This home was larger than expected, very comfortable with a large kitchen perfect for preparing meals and to gather. Live the location just steps to town. This home exceeded all expectations.

This was our yearly family trip so we needed a large house to cover all the different sleeping arrangements. This house covered it all. All the adults got the own room with bathroom and the kids had their own room. It has a wonderful kitchen along with 3 different living rooms. Everyone was able to spread out and enjoy themselves. The pool was just right and the back yard was very relaxing being so close to downtown. The house was just as they said it would be and they were very good about taking care of any problem. You are only 2 blocks from town and all the great restaurants, beach and many attractions. If you rented bikes you could ride early to several other beaches. We all agreed we would love to come back again.

This home is gorgeous. The grounds and exterior details are picture perfect. The interior boasts the historic details of an older home with all of the modern updates and conveniences. The location is supreme. Walk to town for shopping in dining, or walk to bus stop to visit other spots on the island. There is plenty of parking in the spacious driveway if you bring a car, but you could easily go without since this home is close to everything. Owner is very easy to work with. We'll be back!!

Doesn't happen every day but isn't it lovely when something exceeds your expectations? Our extended family of ten spent an early winter weekend at 47 Cooke Street. Everyone LOVED this property, including my seven-year old grandson who walked around and then said "This is SOME house!" Three generations fit more than comfortably and every detail was perfect! The short walk to restaurants and shops was delightful. We'll be back!

My extended family gathered at this amazing house in Edgartown for a winter family reunion. The house is well laid out with a variety of comfortable spaces to accommodate the various needs of a large group. The furnishings are lovely, the bedrooms cozy and beds very comfortable. The must have item for us was a large, gourmet kitchen as eating and cooking are paramount to our family gathering. This house has an amazing kitchen that allowed us to gather together, children and adults, to spend time preparing, eating, playing card games, etc in this well appointed, huge gourmet kitchen! A lot of memories were made in the kitchen alone! The location is also fabulous for walking into town. Although it was winter, we were warm and cozy in this wonderful home. All in all this house was a HUGE hit for our family reunion.

In Edgartown for a wedding, this well furnished and up to date property has everything you need for a kicking MV vacation. Walking distance to downtowns shops and restaurants. The house has ample gathering spaces for larger groups both inside and out. Kitchen is well appointed and allowed for great meals at home as well.
