The house was immaculate and included everything for a comfortable stay including extras like kitchen supplies, nice bathroom towels, games, kayaks and firewood. The view from the covered deck is majestic and we saw lots of wildlife on the property. The owner, John, was accommodating and quick to respond to questions. We would love to spend another weekend here.

The communication and assistance with the host, John Truxal, was above and beyond! The house was spotlessly clean, perfectly appointed with kitchen items, bathroom towels and more. Better than expected!!! Thank you, John, for a more than perfect "venue" for Pop's 90th birthday weekend! He said that this was the best birthday party of his life - small and personal.

We found this property to be all it was advertised to be, our every expectation was met. The owner was more than helpful. We had a disparate group of 6 adults and 2 small children, all of whom enjoyed the stay. We were hoping for snow during our stay and were lucky that happened which was the frosting on our weekend. We would strongly recommend this property to others.

Tremendous house, perfect location, fantastic stay!

As usual John was a great host and the house was a perfect jump stop for the activity we planned. Plenty of beds, the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and the owners were quick to answer my text when we had a simple question. We have stayed there many times and are already planning to use this house again!

The house was recently updated, the bathrooms and bedrooms were great, the open floor plan of the common areas (kitchen, dining room, living room) is great for groups. This is one of the nicest VRBO rentals we have ever stayed in, and we would stay here again in a heartbeat. Our only suggestion would be to include more beds, however, the basement is very large and can accommodate air mattresses if needed. Thanks for a great stay!

This house was the perfect place for our family to make great memories and continue our weekend family Christmas. We travel up from SC to spend this weekend with our children and grandchildren. It’s a win-win for everyone, we get quality time with them and they will have Santa Christmas at their homes. Thank you, this house was so comfortable and welcoming

This is truly a 5 star property. The house is beautiful and the lake access is easy. The beds are comfortable and the sheets and towels were very clean. The entire property was clean. The owners provide for your every need...tissues and extra toilet paper in every bathroom, night lights in every room, paper towels, a cupboard full of spices, any utensil-plate-pan you would need, even firewood. Because nothing can be perfect I will mention two things...neither are reasons to stay away. We were short 2 towels and the owner immediately offered to send some over. It was not necessary because one of our group had not left their house yet and were able to bring some. We only mentioned it because we felt that for the $300.00 cleaning fee the cleaning service should be more aware. We also wished there were more water crafts. The very nice 2 kayaks and 1 paddle boat were not enough for our family of 14. Totally not the owners fault...the owners association of Treasure Lake does not allow outside water craft or we would have gladly brought our own, licensed, kayaks. That said, the weekend went too fast because we were so comfortable!

We had a fantastic stay with friends for a week on the lake. The house was clean and owner attentive to any possible issues. Great location for the kids to swim and paddle around on the kayaks and paddle boat. We enjoyed fires in the evening and relaxing on the large deck during the day.

The whole family enjoyed the week in the house by Treasure Lake. They had fun fishing, kayaking, and swimming in the lake. The owner was very responsive to some minor issues that we had. We would definitely stay there again and in fact we did stay there previously, 2 years ago.

Really nice relaxing place. We had a problem with the renters before us, left the trash cans full so it was infested with maggots. Other than that the place was well equipped, and clean. Enjoyable week.

The home fit our family perfectly, we all had enough bedrooms and bathrooms to enjoy our time together. Very comfortable, clean and location close to front gate. Kayaks and pedal boat were used by all. Very happy with owners response to an issue that needed attention.

We had a great stay in this lovely home. The covered porch was perfect for rainy days and the kids loved the basement. The fireworks were amazing! We’ll be back!

This house was perfect for our family getaway. Each family had their own private quarters for sleeping and their own bathroom. There were 13 of us and we were all comfortable. There is plenty of seating and plenty of things to do. It’s a great neighborhood to take a walk. The kitchen is very well stocked. The house is clean and well cared for. Even more important; John is very accessible. He promptly answered questions before, during and after our stay. I would definitely rent this home again.

Perfect property for family gatherings. Lake is beautiful and enjoyed watching deer, squirrels, ducks, geese, birds . . . Really enjoyable.

What a beautiful house with everything we needed! We really enjoyed our stay and it was a very easy process. The house was clean, perfect amount of space, and close to all the activities we wanted to do. It was a perfect weekend getaway!

House is beautiful and spotless. There was plenty of room for all 6 of us plus other family members who visited. Plenty of dishes, pots, towels, etc.

This property is well maintained and a great house to accommodate a a large group. This was our second stay and as long as the owner agrees, we’ll return at least yearly.

Ten of us ages 4 to 75 stayed for a week and had a amazing time! The house is large and extremely well furnished with plenty of space for everyone to be together or have a bit of quiet time if they choose. Great view! The kids were overjoyed to kayak and paddle boat and nighttimes were for poker and billiards! Just fantastic!

This home is beautiful and has everything you need. It is very clean, and we always enjoy our time spent there!

We rented this with my wife’s family and had a great time. There was plenty of room in the house and the lake is on a quiet secluded section. Having a little “bay” on the lake allowed us to let the kids put some floats in the water and splash around without having to worry about boaters coming by. The section is still deep enough for a pontoon boat to pull up though. Overall a wonderful time.

Truly enjoyed the layout of this home for a family reunion. Each family has their own bathroom and bedroom area. There was no access to the beaches on Treasure Lake but there was a beautiful state park only 20 minutes away. The grandkids loved fishing off the dock. John was a great host and addressed all our questions quickly. The kids and grandkids marked it as a place to revisit.
