The house was perfect for our large family. Everyone had space for themselves and the common areas were big enough for all of us. Lots of games, which we took advantage of, and the kitchen was well stocked. Would absolutely recommend this house.

This was our second time at this house. We love everything about it. Could have used another big pot We love the location. Beds were comfortable. There were eight of us. The large table was great for eating breakfast

We enjoyed Tweetsie house for our daughter's graduation weekend from App State. The home is a perfect location just outside of Boone, but close enough to easily get to Blowing Rock or Boone for outings. Our family fit comfortably and the main floor bedroom was ideal for one set of grandparents. The house is equipped with all you will need to cook and serve a large group. We enjoyed our stay very much... a perfect spot for a wonderful celebration!

Tweetsie House was ideal for our two set of grandparents, two adult child and partners, and a 2-year old! Three levels provided privacy and the open living room and kitchen gave us all time to relax together. The kitchen was well-stocked with pots, pans and utensils; the beds had nice linens and were very comfortable; and the large deck and grill had a fabulous view. Blowing Rock and Boone are both just a 15-ish minute drive - and Tweetsie Railroad just eight-ish minutes!! We were lucky enough to see the last dustings of snow and have beautiful skies!! I highly recommend Tweetsie House!!

We had a wonderful time at the Tweetsie House. We travelled with three families. All of the adults had a king size bed and the children had plenty of room. We especially enjoyed the hot tub after skiing!

Tweetsie House was perfect for our fall family gathering. The little cousins had a blast at the house with the fire pit, hot tub and plenty of space to play inside with their new souvenirs from Tweetsie Railroad. The location was great, close to the sites we visited. Mir was a great host. Thanks so much!

This is my 2nd time staying at this house. It’s just the best location for either Boone or Blowing Rock, blue ridge parkway etc.. anything in the High Country. It’s very well appointed with everything you need and lots of labels to help you know what is what. The grill is brand new from my last time and works like a charm. We grilled 2 nights. We did not use the hot tub but there is one. The location is simply the best as you feel in the mtns (with lots of leaf color and wildlife) but the parking is nice and flat and spacious and you can get down the mtn in 5 minutes. And once down, you’re within minutes of either Blowing Rock or Boone. It’s a big house with 5 beds/4 baths so it’s perfect for a big family or 2 families or like us 5 women friends. This is a jewel. Mir (the host) is very responsive but we’ve rarely needed to contact her bc it’s all been worked out for you and easy to follow. I’m hoping we can make this an annual event!
