This property was perfect for our family. The upper floor bedroom was the absolute best place to sleep. The sound of the ocean was fantastic and the cool night breeze was incredible.

We had a great stay at condo A– 302. Plenty of room for everybody and the views were amazing. Really enjoyed the huge trees in the front facing Pacific Street and the ocean views from the back deck. It was a little hot and muggy, but when you opened up the windows, there was a nice breeze that cooled off the condo. The condo needs some upgrades and repairs, but was very comfortable. Great place for a family vacation.

I took four male seniors on their senior trip. They wanted to surf, and this was Perfect! It was one of the easiest VRBOs to stay at. It was simple—simple—simple. Do not look further. Thanks, management team; you were amazing.

Clean condo on the beach. The facility is nice with great landscaping. We tried to check in 40 minutes early due to our early flight arrival and we had stopped for groceries so had a car full of items that needed refrigerated. I texted the day before asking if we could check in early and they didn’t respond. When I arrived at the gate the security staff were rude and not helpful when I asked if we could check in early. When I walked up to the counter he just looked at me with no welcome or greeting. When I asked about early check in he said, check in is at 3. They made us wait in our car till promptly at 3 even though we knew there was no one in our room from the night before because the facility had already tried to text us to add that night to our stay because it was vacant. We tried to do laundry but you have to use a card swiper to purchase a gift card to run the machines or download an app, but there was no cell service in the laundry area to do either payment option. You had to go to another building to buy laundry soap. It took us almost an hour to figure that out. The rooftop patio was quiet but it does overlook all the solar panels, but you can see the ocean over the solar panels.

Our condo (A302) was clean and ready for us to move in for a week. The beds were comfortable and the view from the upstairs balcony was where we could see the ocean. I would like to make a few suggestions though. It would have been very helpful to have a supply of baggies, plastic wrap and aluminum foil. We took advantage of eating in most mornings and cooked steak on the grills one evening, which worked well, but needed more containers to store our leftovers. It may be a small gesture, but would have been helpful for us. Also, there was only one steak knife for our steak dinner party, which made it awkward! We would definitely recommend this site to others!

From the moment you step into Lanai Lookout, the ocean views capture your heart through the expansive windows of the primary bedroom and its private balcony. The place was clean and well-appointed. We loved all the facilities, especially the heated pool, table tennis, fitness center, sauna, and barbecue area. The beachfront is just a step away. We had a lovely stay ans can wholeheartedly recommend this property.

The location of the condo was the best part of the rental. The condo itself was ok. It has a great view. Unfortunately, I wasn't satisfied with the communication from the property manager. I had tried several times during the morning of our arrival to contact them to let them know I had not received check-in instructions and simply got a "we sent the instructions already" response, followed by "we sent it again" over the span of several hours after our plane had landed. I did finally find the instructions, but a simple phone call would have been a quick and easy way to serve me, the customer. Also, unlike many other rentals I've stayed at there was very little to cook with so if you are planning on cooking for yourself, you may want to get salt, cooking oil, and other essentials. There weren't enough towels for a family of 6 for a condo that has a pool and hot tub in my opinion.

We stayed in December and had no problems with ants. It was a very clean and comfortable place to stay. The only issue we had was that the hot tub for our building was under repair. We could’ve crossed the street to the other set of buildings and use theirs, but didn’t want to walk that far back in wet suits (it was chilly weather). Not a huge deal though. The views of the ocean from the master bedroom were fantastic. Although you can’t see the ocean from main floor balcony, you have a pretty view of the gardens below. Also, we couldn’t figure out how to make the upstairs TV work and the management had someone come over very quickly to help us. The TV worked fine, we just aren’t great with technology.

This was a great condo for our family of six. Upstairs upstairs master suite for mom and dad with a private deck looking out onto the ocean and downstairs bedroom that slept all four kids. Nice open floor pan. Great property with swimming pools, hot tubs, workout room, and sauna.

Overall we loved our stay. The upstairs views are amazing. The only thing I'd add is that if you are staying longer then a few days with a full house, bring additional towels. There are 6 shower towels and 6 beach towels. Things in San Diego take forever to dry, so having extra would have been helpful.

Really enjoyed the location. Accommodations were ok. Very old complex but they tried to make it nice. Was totally surprised that there was no air conditioning. We were lucky that the weather was 70 degrees while we were there, if it had been any hotter it would have been miserable.

The condo was quiet, clean, easy access to beach, garage, pool, grill - you name it! After a day at the beach, we visited Seaworld, Sesame Place and San Diego Zoo. I have 4 very happy grandkids!

Pros: The condo was very clean. Bed were comfortable which is a plus. Lots of room with 6 of us. Balcony had perfect views. The grounds, pool and spa were ideal after a long day at the beach. Misti who I worked with was so prefect and helpful. A great company and easy to work with. Easy check in and check out process. Cons: All glass ware was dirty. I think the guests before us made smoothies in every mug, glass, wine glass and the dishwasher did not fully clean them. Thar was gross as it was dried and I ended up soaking and cleaning all glass ware. Blind in master bedroom are cheap long white blinds and do not black out morning sun. Although it was nice waking up to the sunrise every morning it was hard to go back to sleep as it was so bright. Last smallIssue is the check out time at 10 am. Most people leave on a Sunday and waking up, cooking breakfast and packing, I think 11 would be more appropriate. Otherwise a p

Great location-property is great for families with small pool at this building and larger pool across the street. Easy beach access. Living room is comfortable. Kitchen cupboards could use replacing and carpet throughout should be replaced. Front door lock should be updated-it’s hard to lock w key. View from patio upstairs is great and generally good condition.

Excellent location, very clean. Carpets are probably due for an update soon as well as kitchen cabinets due for a coat of paint or replacement. Outstanding views from the three balconies! The one negative was a foul smell in the condo that wasn't present in two other units when we visited with friends. Not sure what the source of the smell was but it was present for the entire week. Overall, we highly recommend makemyvacation and will definitely be back!

The unit we stayed in was clean. The property is well maintained. The location is great. It was very convenient for us as we were visiting family that lives at Pendleton. Our ONLY issues were the difficulty using the laundry room in our building. It’s down on the lower level and our signal on our phone was no good. The machines needed to connect to the phone through an app because we couldn’t get the cards to work. That and there was no response when using the Hospitality APP to make a request. Make sure you go into the office if you have a question, issue or request.

Excellent location, fabulous view. The unit has lots of space with a great layout. The kitchen was complete and great (even a dishwasher). The unit has more of a dated appearance but we loved it and found it very comfortable and clean. Check in/out was perfect. We didn't need anything from management but we always felt they cared and would help us immediately. Great for kids. We would love to come back to this unit!

This was a great unit, 5 star, perfect for most but it might not be right for everyone. This unit is in the North Coast Village 'A' complex, there are many units available in this resort complex on the beach. Everything in the unit was nice and comfortable. Why it might not be perfect for everyone: The 'master bedroom' on the second floor has no door and a tight winding staircase -- it has the ocean view, there is no ocean view from the first floor. The ground floor bedroom has a door, and is designated the 'kids' room but was a bit loud from street noise. The parking garage was nice, assigned space and secure with a gate. There is an elevator from the garage to the 3rd floor -- which is necessary for getting your groceries to the unit. Fitness center was nice, especially for the winter months when the days are short. Overall, I loved NCV, this was a very nice unit, but I didn't realize the view was only from the upstairs bedroom, which defeated the reason why I rented an 'ocean view' unit -- but hey for many this might be perfect!

Two decks for sunrise and sunset viewing! That can’t be beat. NCV is a great location. We walk to the harbor, Parlor Donuts, and of course, Handels Ice Cream. The beach is across the street. The condo provided beach chairs and beach towels. We loved the bathroom heater timer switch. Furniture was comfortable. The lighting, however, was very poor. Kitchen and dining room need updated fixtures. Too dark. I always wash the tile floors because for some reason the cleaning people do a poor job on floors. The bathroom vanity area still has carpeting in both bathrooms. Please remodel this. I had to haul the vacuum upstairs every day.

Perfect family vacation spot close to the beach!
Everything was convenient- we loved how close it was to the beach, loved the 2 pools and that we were able to bbq outside for dinner while the kids swam. All the beds were comfortable, we all had a great time!

Amazing Family Vacation Spot!
This unit is an amazing find. First off North Coast Village is a great complex right on the beach with a pool! There was plenty of room for our group of six. The views from the decks were breathtaking. The unit had everything we needed including chairs, boogie boards, and even a tent. The unit is steps away from the beach. We hope to be able to rent the unit again in the future and would highly recommend it to anyone!
