Very wide open house

We traveled for family vacation. House was very spacious and well equipped.

Pretty good lil house had plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed our stay there. Just need some touch up on some stuff an a new Grill. We didn't use it bc it was full of junk. Some of the TV's in bedrooms we couldn't watch bc everything wasn't there. For the most everything was good deal.

We needed a large house for family fourth celebration and this fit the bill. Large yard for playing catch and cookouts. Very convenient to grocery. I would come again Debbie

Older Home with all the comfort for a large group. All the amenities for a simplicity stay without the hassles of traffic nearby. Close enough for the beach without the hoopla!! We enjoyed our stay. 7 stated with ease and comfort..

We just wanted to hide away somewhere warm this Thanksgiving with our close family. And Birds and Blooms was perfect that! With the nice long yard the kids age 6-16 could play without worry and us adults could sit and visit outside. We used the beach toys on our multiple visits to the beach! And cooked a fabulous Thanksgiving dinner in the kitchen. If we ever want to hide away in Long Beach again this is the place we will hide away at!!

I will start with check in: PM was slow to respond. House was very non-handicapped accessible. Bathrooms were old and out dated, main bathtub had a missing handle on the cold water. Both had child size toilets and not set up with an handicap accessories. Towels were old and worn. I use better towels to wash my cars! Though stated, there were no instructions on how to operate the TVs in the house and several of the remotes had dead batteries . We never figured out how to watch local TV to monitor the hurricane coming to the coast. The bedrooms were at best poor, The beds were old and worn out, Linens were also old and thin. Curtains were not enough to keep the lights from the businesses next door out at night. In one of the bedrooms the ceiling fan was missing one of the chains so it was fan with light on or no fan at all. The kitchen was only used to make coffee in the morning but everything seemed to work. There were burned out bulbs through out the house and switches everywhere, some that didn't seem to turn anything on or off. Front porch light was burned out. On the good side, there were no bugs but there was a big green lizard in the dining room on the window above the AC unit that had one of the grills missing. The main AC unit worked well. Kitchen was stocked with coffee supplies. Bottom line, the house was livable but not what was expected for the price charged. Would not stay there again.

It was awesome, everything was neat. Clean, it wasn’t hard at all to find, I definitely recommend this house for a get away! You won’t regret it.

We had a little family gathering from Kansas, Arkansas, and northeastern Mississippi. Day one we visited the Institute for Marine Mammal Studies, and saw dolphins, sea lions, tropical birds, manta rays, snakes, and alligators, and went on the Dolphin Cruise. Day two we spent at the beach and went to the Outlet Malls. We had wanted to go to Ship Island and visit Fort Massachusetts, but we were disappointed to find the island closed for repairs that week. The property was very serviceable, and fit in well with the title of the property, Birds and Blooms. I would describe the property as leaning more to the"natural" vibe than the "well groomed," as the grass hadn't been freshly mowed. That didn't cause me a problem. They didn't have a grill available as we had expected, but the renters before us had damaged it so I understand. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

This home is exactly that. It feels like home. It is an older country style home with plenty of comfortable indoor couches, cozy beds, seemingly endless hot water and spacious yard for kids to play. The location is 5 minutes from the interstate, beaches and popular dining. There is also plenty of beach toys, chairs and 2 umbrellas you can use. The floor is uneven but that is the charm of an older home. The temperature is comfortable witha central AC and has a few window units to use if needed. I would gladly stay here again.

Very clean property had everything you needed inside and out great location very quiet definitely will stay again

Only problem we had, was could not locate remotes for the tv's, but had plenty to do, and the kids all have phones to watch videos on, so not a real problem.House is old, but very cute. Plenty of room for all our group. and for family in the area to hang out and visit with us. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your cute house.

I was surprised at the size of the house. The pictures don't do it justice. It was bigger than I expected. We came down to spend the weekend with my son while he is in tech school and the house was perfect for our time. We enjoyed a lot of time outside on the patio. There were movies and a few games to play. We added a few to the pile as well. If you are looking for a quiet, roomy place to spend quality time with the family, this is it!PS. I HIGHLY recommend the model train museum!!!

You just feel like your at home there in Birds & Blooms Retreat. The house had everything you needed & more. It's very quiet there, my husband was on the patio a lot & enjoyed seeing the squirrel's playing each morning before we left to go out. House is so decorated really pretty, plenty of room for the three of us. Quicker access to the casino's we visit while there too. Nancy & Mollie were so nice thru the rental process & while there. Enjoyed everything & hope to come back next year, Joyce, Tony, & Jeremy Priest, Sheridan, Ark.

We were a large party. All age groups. Home is older but has everything we needed. Loved the yard!! Played badminton, volleyball, dodgeball. We had a blast!!

We loved our stay. The house was big enough for everyone to have space. The property was very clean and everything was perfect.

It is a nice house that is convenient to the beach and downtown. It has a great porch for eating outside and a nice side yard for the kids to play in. Also close to outlet malls and other beaches.

Helped tremendous being able to have the whole family in one place.

This home was older and off the path from the beach some, but that was no issue once we got to the house. The manager and owner were super nice and accommodating. Even allowed us to check in early since we made it to town early that day. The beds were all so comfortable, except one... It was quit noisy as well. Definitely not a deal breaker. We will definitely seek out this house for our next gulf trip. Thank you!!

We loved the house, was very close to the beach and stores. Would definitely recommend to friends. Look forward to another stay.

Place was fantastic. Nice living area and patio.

Very accommodating for 11 people. Large yard space for kids games. Weather wasn't very accommodating though. Would have liked to visit the beach more.
