The floors were swept but needed to be mopped. There was soot buildup on the ceiling near the air vents in the living room and master bedroom. There was also soot buildup on the air vents, especially the main return air grill at the furnace closet. The upper east wall in the master bedroom had significant dust buildup. The balcony and kitchen blinds should be replaced. Slats fall out of the balcony blinds when operated. The kitchen blind is missing slat. The guest bathtub backs up with water. It appears the drain plug mechanism needs to be replaced. There was a warning to not set the air conditioner below 74-degrees to avoid freeze-up of the unit, which makes the bedrooms warm at night, and there are no ceiling fans. The Spectrum TV remotes do not work properly in the living room and the guest bedroom. Also, there are no television-specific remotes for these TVs. The internet seemed very slow, which created some streaming issues. The refrigerator has rust on the side, which is a cosmetic eyesore. The dining room table has been brush-painted and the surface is rough. There is also some peeling along the edges.There is also an electrical breaker issue with the dishwasher.

Amazing getaway, I would go back to this place. Clean, had all essentials, and the location was perfect.

We could see the Rocket Launch from our room. It was an awesome view of the launch. It is a great location for exploring the area, beaches, the Brevard Zoo, Kennedy Space Center and shopping.

It's the little things though: if you provide TP, spend the extra $2 for some that's thicker than see/poke through. An extra $20 and provide pans that are non-stick. Extra $2 for oven mitta that actually work (wife burnt her hand badly because they were so thin - non functioning). Fix the ice maker so we don't have to get bags all week. Spend the $9 for toilet flapper that doesn't leak 24/7. People usually fly in - provide a couple of quality beach chairs and a cooler (you're welcome next guest, we bought those and had to leave them). And finally, might wanna take care of that obvious mold growing on the vent cover in bathroom that I breathed in all week.

This one would be a great room to watch a Shuttle Launch. Good clean room with a nice walk in shower, in case you have some mobility issues.

The location was amazing, the view from the balcony was unbelievable - too bad Artemis didn't launch, and the surf was perfect for the family. The apt had everything we needed. We were able to prepare food, do laundry and enjoy sunrises. We were in such a need to spend time as a family and this place made it happen. We hope to be lucky enough to stay in this unit again.

Over all great stay. Only thing was that the front do would not look after the first few nights of staying. Was not able to contact or get ahold of a manager.

Nice view for everything. Good seats to watch rockets launch. Complex is in such a well spot for walking to the beach and also to other stores if so desired. Beautiful spot to check out.

Loved the location...but some TLC please and I’ll be back... Door locking needs to be updated in your check in process. Had to call to get “educated” on how to lock the unit..After 2 calls, issue resolved, but disrupted my check in. The window fixtures/slats kept falling down on main slider to patio.. just get rid of them...very outdated. Only could open one side of the sliding door to patio. Cushion chair in LR-wrong size and was obviously much smaller than the chair. Couldn’t sit in without discomfort and it was hidden with a pillow placed in chair...tacky. 2nd bedroom window fixture. Could not shut all the way- no pull chord, hence we did not use the room- no privacy..used the need to be updated sleep mattress on the sleeper sofa. Minor TLC needed, but a wonderful beach view with adequate amenities.

We had a great time with our family and it is a great location. One constructive feedback, might be time for a new AC unit. Only being able to have it at 74 made it quite warm. When it is 90+ outside, it will be way hot in there

The condo was super clean, super stocked and in a super location! We were amazed at the view and loved every single minute of our trip-the condo made it so much better!

The location of the property was excellent. The complex itself was well-maintained. The view from the unit was wonderful. The unit we stayed in was very dated. There was a musty smell in the master bedroom. The windows were difficult to open. The unit amenities, beach materials, washer and dryer were good. Overall, we had a good experience at Sandcastles.

Very busy time of year to be at the beach! Cruise ships are starting to be active again and it shows by the number of people in the area. Cocoa Beach pier was really busy. Property is not bad. Disappointed that there is no recycling program. Lots of debris to pick up on the beach. Plastic! Master bed needs to be replaced for sure. Property is right on the beach but unit faces north. Good view of the space coast and the pier. Nice kitchen and washer/dryer. Pool is very warm. One elevator means waiting on busy days. Overall a 7 star out of 10.

The condo was disappointing in that it was less than clean, outdated, and the master bedroom mattress seemed to have a large hole in it. For over $200 per night, I would think that a decent mattress would be the least we could have expected. My husband is 6ft, and he had to sleep in the middle of the bed so as not to fall into the deep hole of the mattress. One very visible and large air vent had a thick layer of dirt/dust. One blanket, that we pulled out of a closet to use with the sofa bed, had blood on it. The area and bathroom rugs were worn and dirty. On the plus side, the kitchen was well-stocked for what we needed. The location was good. Regarding the check-in process, it would be helpful to know parking information. We were not sure where to park upon arrival and had to email to make sure we didn't need a parking pass. With a little TLC, this could be a good VRBO. We do not feel that we got our money's worth and therefore the low rating.

We planned a week long trip at Madeira Beach but due to Red Tide we decided to find a beach on the East coast. We were pleasantly surprised to find such a great, spacious condo with everything we needed. Great location and great beach!
