Thank You for opening Your Home to Us, all in our Group were amazed, some comments were, this is the best place we have stayed. This was the first time Dave and I have stayed any place with a staff and I am pretty sure that goes for the rest of the group, they were all amazing and I felt very comfortable. Arlene and Colroy fixed excellent meals, Colroy's table settings were always set with care and added a flare to mealtime. The first night Dinner on the Beach was very special. Fiona kept our rooms clean and was always pleasant. Robert kept the grounds and beach looking fresh. Howard the Driver was exceptional with his knowledge of area. Thanks for a great experience!

We really enjoyed our time at Afimi. As many have noted, I don't know if we'd have the same feeling if it weren't for the staff. It's clear they have a deep sense of pride for what they do and the care they take of the home and it's guests. We traveled with 5 young children. It was evident that they were used to guest with kids as they hit all the marks we came in worried about. Arlene effortlessly guided us through a weeks worth of meals and the kids enjoyed every meal as well as the adults. Colroy was always there and has a chill and knack for service that makes everyone comfortable. His table settings are unmatched! He closed the house down each night and was up each morning readying coffee. Fiona knew just when to sneak in to make the beds and for turn down each night. The beds were amazing too! Tons of pillows, with the added detail of giving each person different types. I love that touch. We slept well! Howard, the driver, got us where we needed to go and was always looking out for the kids and safety when out and about. My only suggestions are to clean up the games and books and replace with new. There was a huge cabinet full of games and cards but almost everything was unusable for missing parts and pieces. We usually travel with games but forgot this time and we couldn't find any at local stores. Some of the books are evergreen but I think "Top 8 Stocks to buy in 2008" can go along with the many self help technology books from the early 2000's.

This home is a luxury and private Villa on the bay! The bay is beautiful and calm. We were two families with kids all under 4yo so the beach was perfect for us. Some of us stepped on sea urchins in the water but that just comes with the ocean/bay territory. The staff were great and very sweet. Arlene , the chef, is an amazing cook and we were extremely impressed with all of the meals that she prepared for us. If you have baby who still sleeps in a pack n play, the tv room is a bonus room bc it has AC , office doors and black out shades so this Villa acted like 5 bedrooms for us!

What a dream! Afimi is a beautiful home, incredible location, and best of all is the staff. Arlene created amazing dishes combining Jamaican and international foods. Her culinary prowess is spectacular. Colroy was the quintessential host not missing a detail from coffee in the morning to beautifully set tables to anticipating our every need. Fiona maintained a wonderfully clean space and met us each and every day with a smile. Robert always made sure to have a raked beach, a clean pool, and a bucolic setting of flowers and plantlife in the middle of a neighborhood. Stuart was responsive and informative and answered questions before and during our stay. You can enjoy the "Island Red" sunrise or paddle out to view the sea life at the coral reef. Our family of 6 stayed in luxury and comfort due to not only the house, but the fantastic staff. The hardest part is trying to figure out when we will be back!

We just spent a wonderful week at Villa Afimi. The house is spectacular: roomy, comfortable, beautifully appointed with stunning views. The amazing staff, Colroy, Arlene, Fiona and Robert, took great care of us, and were there to make sure we had a first class experience, including special meals on the balcony and on the beach. We felt truly pampered throughout our stay. For a relaxing week in Jamaica, we highly recommend Villa Afimi.

We intended to have a relaxing stay on our Jamaican vacation and Afimi House did not disappoint! We were pampered like royalty by Colroy and Fiona. Arlene served up the most delicious meals. Robert made sure that the pool, beach and lawn were spotless! Our biggest worry on this trip was where we would relax next. Pool? Check. Veranda? Check. Dock? Check. Beach hut? Check. We would absolutely love to come back again! In fact, we never wanted to leave!

We booked our family trip to the Afimi Beach Villa and it did not disappoint! We absolutely loved it. The pictures live up to the hype. It was the perfect amount of space for my family (2 adults and 1 kiddo - age 6) and my sister’s family (2 adults and 2 teens - ages 12 and 16) as well as our mother.. We took advantage of the kayaks, paddle board, the small boat and the pool! We did stay 7 days and the only thing I think I would change would be to do one or two more excursions, which is on us. My sister did take her kids to Doctor’s Cove one afternoon and they loved it. We also went to the Houseboat Grill for dinner and I highly recommend it! Onto the food and the staff - the staff are just amazing and the food was top notch. Since we we’re at the villa so much, Arlene did a lot of work creating exceptional meals for us. I have never had three amazing meals a day while on vacation. From the table set-up to food presentations, to having diverse options and tons of to die for fruit, it was just all out of this world. Arlene is a gold star standard from a culinary perspective and a very genuinely kind woman to boot. She was so gracious about our shift in plans and walking us through all of our food options. Colroy got us going with coffee every morning and was attentive to our requests for transport, Fiona kept the place spotless and handled our laundry and Robert kept the outside gorgeous. We highly recommend it!

We rented the Villa for our family vacation. This is a beautiful property with impecable service. The location is family oriented and perfect if you have small children. The staff and service was one of a kind. The chef prepared very meal to perfection and it was delicious. We will definitely come back!

This vacation was our second stay at the property. Another awesome stay. Due to flight delays, my family arrived a day before me. They felt welcomed by the staff and treated like royalty.

This was our first family vacation with our 14 month old son. Arlene, Colroy, Fiona, and Robert made it a truly unforgettable experience.

This house is beautiful and meticulously cared for. The location is perfect and the pool and beach are stunning. Arlene, Colroy and Fiona are incredible. They all went out of their way to be so hospitable and helpful. Arlene is an incredible chef. We enjoyed all of our meals plus some special desserts. An extra, special touch was how Colroy set stunning tables every night for dinner, never the same one twice. The yard is perfectly maintained by Robert. Fiona keeps everything so clean and fresh. AND she participated in some fun games of ping pong! This was one of our best trips to Jamaica, let alone one of our best vacations. We hope to go back to this house again some day.

We cannot express what a wonderful time we had. The property was beautiful, clean, and exactly as pictured. It was truly better than we imagined. Arlene, Colroy, Fiona, and Robert treated us so well and kept us fed. Arlene’s cooking is amazing. This trip was worth it and we will be back.

We had a wonderful time! Our group consisted of me, my husband, and 2 daughters ages 7 and 8. The staff treated us with kindness and were so very attentive. The food was outstanding, hats off to Arlene. Fiona kept everything pristine, and Colroy attended to our every need. Robert kept the grounds immaculate, which is hard to do with 2 kids running around. We were sad to leave, and can not wait to return. Of note, we left this property and checked into Half Moon Bay, a beautiful resort, but it had nothing on the service and quality we received during our stay. The owners were extremely easy to contact and quick to respond. Please book, you won’t be disappointed!

This is a great place for a large group or family to stay. The house itself has a great layout with everyone getting their own bathrooms, and several commons areas to hang out both inside and out. Between the pool, the beach, Arlene's amazing cooking, and Colroy's rum punch, there isn't much reason to even leave! But if you want to, the staff will help you book any excursion you need and Howard is a great tour guide. We did a day trip to ocho rios and spent a few days at Doctors Cave which is a beach about 15 min away. Both were great.

From the moment we walked out of the airport and were greeted by Howard our driver (who sounds like Morgan Freeman) it was paradise. We arrived at 29 Lagoons and walked into a beautiful home. Colroy welcomed us and got us settled in. The house, the beach, the gardens are spectacular. But to call this beautiful spot home for a week was so much more special because of the amazing people we got to know. Arlene, who makes all food taste like heaven. Colroy, who treats us all like gold (especially as he hands us our martini). Fiona, who with her spectacular smile and wicked ping pong arm keeps the place immaculate. Robert, who keeps the grounds pristine. Howard, who is an unbelievable driver and tour guide. All of this made for the best vacation with our family. 10 stars out of 5.

You might think all 5-star reviews, it can't be true, it's true. AFIMI is truly wonderful and the staff makes it a dream come true. The staff of Arlene, Colroy, Fiona, Robert, and Howard set the tone for a wonderful stay. The listing is exactly what the owners say, and they are also wonderful and easy to work with. We were so impressed with the property and of the staff. There were not many posts about young children, but we found easy accommodations for our 17-month old daughter. The property had a crib and a high-chair which saved us from having to bring our own, and plenty of sand for her on the beach! We could not stop raving about the food from Arlene as many others posted about also. We would suggest having ideas for types of meals, but let her be creative on what to cook because she is phenomenal! And please don't leave without having her rum cake. The one item we would purpose to anyone is have an idea for activities if you plan to leave the house. We got lucky and snagged some last minute fishing and catamaran trips, but being Type A people, we would have rather known what days were activities vs relax days to help better plan meals as that shopping typically occurs on the first full day to reduce the number of trips to the market. Which we would also highly suggest doing - shopping with Arlene at the local market. Really cool experience. Also don't forget to take a tennis lesson with Franco at the community courts! A+ vacation at AFIMI!

The villa is every bit as beautiful as shown in the photos, immaculate, chic, extremely comfortable. The service was impeccable: Conroy head of house saw to our every need, Arlene’s cooked everything we requested deliciously, Fiona had the home and our laundry immaculate at all times, Robert had the beach and grounds pristine. We did retain a driver for the week, as downtown Montego Bay can be tricky and Howard took great care of all of us.

Highly recommend The Lagoons. The house was nicely appointed with an amazing staff that took care of our every need. Arlene, Colroy, Fiona and Robert are fabulous. They made our time in Jamaica memorable and special.

We had an amazing stay at this property. The house is gorgeous, well-appointed and with many common spaces for gathering, as well as areas for private time. We had a multi-generational group and there was something for everyone. The staff was incredible - we were totally spoiled. Every meal was delicious, and every detail attended to (down to the place settings, which varied for every meal). Can't say enough positive things about this property and the people who make it particularly special. We cannot wait to go back!

If you're looking for a five star experience in Jamaica, this is it. The property was outstanding.....from the beach to the pool to the beautiful views, there was nothing we would change. The staff that worked there were the cherry on the top. Always smiling and extremely helpful. And the food was second to none. What an experience!!!

I truly loved the experience and the staff . Arlene is the best chef on the island ( hands down ) . Colroy made sure we felt at home at cared to our every need . Robert kept the grounds beautiful. Felona kept our rooms clean with plenty towels . We were pampered and can’t wait to come back. Stuart and Nicole were quick to respond to any questions we had before and during our stay . If I could give this property a 10 star , I would but it only goes up to 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ . Job well done . We will be back ! My family and I enjoyed our vacation. It was fabulous and very relaxing just what we wanted. Everything you read about the house is on point. The view and outside living was wonderful. Arlene’s food was out of this world and the staff made us feel very welcomed. Nicola and Stuart where very quick to respond to any questions I had. This was our second time visiting this beautiful house. We were really excited about our return. The house provides so many opportunities to do whatever you want. You can sit in the pool or cabana, lay on the beach, take out the kayaks or the Hobie Cat sailboat or relax on the porch or upper deck. At night the ping pong table and dart board had some fun times. There is plenty of room to do things alone, yet many areas big enough for all 8 of us to do things together. During the day we would open the doors and windows and there was a nice breeze all day, it was never too hot. At night the bedroom windows were closed and individual A/C units cooled the rooms. The house is complimented by an outstanding staff that are the same from our previous trip. Colroy does a wonderful job taking care us. From coffee out early in the morning to serving all of the meals and helping with the daily needs for our family he did it all. He helped arrange a day where the guys went deep-sea fishing and the girls had a spa day at the house (awesome). Arlene is an excellent chef. The menu is outstanding as we try to eat only Jamaican dishes. Every meal was like eating at a fine dining restaurant. We only had 2 lunches away from the house. Family favorites are oxtail stew, curried goat, pumpkin soup (had it twice), lobster and fresh barracuda (from fishing trip). She also did an excellent job as one person in our party has severe food allergies and she was able to accommodate the dishes so they could enjoy. Fiona does a wonderful job keeping the bedrooms and house clean. Her doing the laundry was such a great extra as coming home with clean clothes is so nice. Robert keeps the outside of the house looking beautiful. The gardens and beach are always clean and he was great helping people with the beach equipment (kayaks and boat). The staff are so friendly and great to talk with. For our family, the staff is a much a reason we come back to this spot as is the great house. We can't wait to be back for another visit

Afimi Villa was the perfect location/venue for our multi-generational family holiday, where ages ranged from 84 to 4 years old! The villa is amazingly beautiful inside and out; the photos within the listing truly capture the elegance and charm of the secluded beach location. The villa is spacious and welcoming allowing everyone in the family to relax together when we wanted to, but find peace and serenity when desired. Colroy, Arlene, Fiona and Robbie were warm and welcoming to us; attentive and supportive to our needs without being intrusive, and really helped make our stay and celebrating my parent’s wedding anniversary,memorable for everyone.

Where shall i begin? First and foremost, i would like to state that Colroy, Arline, Fiona, Robert and Howard are the BEST !!!! I have never been to Jamaica and coming here for my honeymoon (along with a few of our wedding party) was the best decision we have made. The villa is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!!! Everyone was so attentive, welcoming and very accommodating. The food was amazing (by Arline), the house was kept immaculate (by Fiona and Robert) the drinks were flowing (by Colroy) and lets not forget our driver, who kept us entertained (Howard). Our communication with Stuart was very quick and he responsive to all of our questions. I am beyond grateful and thankful that they all made our trip so fulfilling and worthwhile. We are already thinking of our next date to come back and can not wait to see everyone.

Where do I begin ? From the moment the front door opened, we knew we had made the right choice for our first Jamaican vacation !! We were welcomed by wonderful staff that made sure our stay was more than amazing. Arlene is a great cook and I’m so glad we chose to eat “at home” all week. My son (22) even requested “Arlene’s cookbook” (which doesn’t exist, but should !!! ) She’s amazing! Colroy was always attentive, informative and made sure to keep drinks in hand ! Fiona and Robert kept the house picture perfect inside and out. Should you need a driver , ask for Howard 😉, he was wonderful! This property has it all ! The pictures on VRBO are accurate, and once you step inside …you will know why you chose Afimi. Truly the most relaxing vacation we’ve ever had!!!!
