We both enjoyed our stay very much! The design of the Tree House was amazing!!! It was beautiful and private and it had everything that we needed. The owner (an artist) lives next door and she was so informative and helpful. She was a book of knowledge and had great stories, so much fun and also very creative. We loved staying in the valley so close to the village. Gorgeous area and delicious food at the restaurants. Rustica was our favorite. A highlight was the hike of Point Lobos along the coast; a "must do". We would love to come back to the unique Tree House again! This exactly what we expected. It is a wonderful little studio that is very eclectic and art-forward. If you are looking for a place to unplug and unwind in a place that feels like it’s miles away from anywhere yet close to everything, this is your stay. The host was very helpful and commutative, and while they were onsite, they left us alone to enjoy the retreat.

Conveniently close to town in Carmel valley and a brief drive to the ocean. Just what we needed. A cute shabby chic vacation getaway with a rustic feel.

Great experience. Quiet place to find solitude and just enjoy your surroundings. Less than 30 minutes to Carmel and less than 5 minutes to Carmel Village. The host is very helpful and knows the area very well having lived there for over 40 years. I would stay again for sure.

We loved our stay at Desiree’s treehouse. The place was just as described in the listing. The view was amazing. We loved just sipping wine or coffee on the porch. Desiree was very communicative and was happy to answer any questions about the place or the area in general. She gave great suggestions and was super helpful.

We absolutely loved the treehouse! The location was amazing - everything was perfect. Very comfortable, plenty of space, and the surrounding landscape was just so beautiful. Would definitely recommend this place - it does not disappoint.

This is an awesome, cozy, and whimsical place… perfect for those interested in a special experience. The entire property is a paradise. Be sure to get a tour of the owner’s artist studio and house before leaving. Her work is amazing. We would definitely come back.

My husband and I were lucky enough to stay in this Artists paradise. From the beautiful views of our balcony and the closeness of the Pacific Coast Highway, the trip was amazing and relaxing. Desiree was a gracious host and the rental was as beautiful as the pictures.

Desiree is very knowledgeable about the Carmel area and communicates promptly and well. She's also a very friendly and interesting person. Her Treehouse is comfortable and a great place for 2 or 3 people to use as "home base" when visiting the area.

Beautiful property. Has everything you need in a quiet and serene location. Host was delightful, responsive, and helpful. Squirrels and birds were plentiful and we also saw some deer.

Desiree was a great host! My husband I stayed in the middle of a rain storm so we didn't get to enjoy the patio as much as we would have liked. It has a wonderful view. The bed is comfy, the place has great lighting and is decently stocked. Quiet and a 3-minute ride to the downtown and every fun restaurant, winery, etc. Thank you, Desiree for letting us enjoy your darling place and for the fun chit chat! :-) Restaurant recommendations: La Rustica and Corkscrew Cafe.

We were in town for the AT&T Pro-Am golf tournament at Pebble Beach and decided to stay in Carmel Valley. We found this great little place to stay and totally had a great time.
