Our stay at this VRBO was very nice and met all of our needs. It is very close to great hiking at Kanaka Creek Falls and Golden Ears Provincial Park, which have beautiful groomed trails. The bed is very comfortable, which was greatly appreciated after each day of hiking. The location is outside of the urban centre but close enough to grocery stores, pharmacies and restaurants with a short 5 minute drive.

Chris was an excellent landlord. He responded quickly to our requests. The space was as described. It fit us nicely. Chris brought us peaches he had picked. He was available when needed without being intrusive. We were able to store our suitcases and extra stuff in his storage area, which was nice. We would stay here again.

Lovely stay.... Chris had everything we needed and the location was within walking distance to Cliff Falls.

We stayed with Chris for 3 winter months in thos 1 bedroom suite. Small but cozy. Has everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The couple of minor issues we had. Chris got on it right away. He is a kind and considerate host. Lived his two dogs who came to visit us through the fence.

Stayed here while attending the Geo-Woodstock in Abbotsford. Great place!! Only saw Chris at checkin when he gave us the tour of the suite. Very nice suite! Had everything we needed! Great setting! Thanks Chris!!!!

Host Chris has designed a smart daylight basement suite sized for 2, with private entry, on-street parking. Very comfy bed, fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, all new hard-surface flooring, tiled bath. A great location for exploring Scenic Highway 7 towns, hikes, waterfalls, and farms. Cute and friendly dogs, who did not howl when my husband practiced harmonica.

Lovely location and apartment. We were able to stay with our dogs. Owner was wonderful. Will definitely make arrangements to stay again next time we come to town.

I travel to Maple Ridge on a regular basis to visit family and Chris' home is perfect. Perfect location, perfect amenities, very nice. The suite was super clean and the bed was comfy. I will be back.

We stayed 3 days and enjoyed this unit. Nice bedroom for me with a very comfortable bed and my daughter says the pull out couch was good as well.

Suite is comfortable and clean. Well appointed. Hosts are very friendly and accommodating. The view is stunning. We had an amazing walk through Kanaka Creek. Had our dog with us too. Having a separate entrance is great with a dog. Overall had a great stay and would book again.

Little did we know, as we drove "over the river and through the woods" to our Golden Ears View Suite just how amazing the neighborhood, view, and home would be. The subdivision is built into huge hills, with amazing rock retaining walls surrounding 4000-10000 sq ft near-castles. We spend both evenings we were there gaping at the magnificent homes and mountain sunset views. The suite itself is well appointed, with a modest size BR, kitchen, family area, and bath. Not big, but perfect for two (as long as one bathroom is all that's needed). Our host was gracious, helpful and even showed us the picture of the black bear he saw walking down the street while we were ogling his neighborhood. I'll likely never own one of these remarkable houses, but at least now I can say I stayed in one!

Beautiful brand new neighborhood. The Suite had everything we needed to get by for our 5 days of being a tourists prior to boarding our 7 day cruise. Yes, it was a bit of a drive to get to the tourist sites in the Vancouver area, but we didn't mind seeing the area as we drove to different places each day. We're from the Los Angeles, California area, so we're used to traffic and taking time to get where you want to go. We shopped at the local Walmart and Dollar Tree multiple times each while there and we liked that convenience. The floor of the Suite was cold, but we had slippers packed with us so that was not a problem. The small heater they provided took the chill off quickly when we were in the Suite for the evenings. The bed and pillows were comfy, and every room was perfectly clean. Chris was very kind in checking on us to see if we had any questions or concerns. Other than that, we felt that we had privacy and could come and go with ease. We appreciated the laundry being right there in the Suite so we could wash clothes before getting on the cruise. Full size fridge to keep our beverages cold. We didn't cook anything, but there was an oven/stove and microwave if we needed them.I highly recommend this Suite, extremely great value for the price. We couldn't find anything in Vancouver for this price, even a hostel was more expensive. So, it was truly worth the daily drive in exchange for all the conveniences of home. Not to mention the view of the Golden Ears being outstanding! We would stay here again.

Bright, modern, clean, comfy and very well equipped! The Golden Ears Suite became our home between homes, it was just perfect. The bonus –a spectacular view and fabulous walking trails! We highly recommend the Golden Ears Suite for a holiday or extended stay. Thanks Chris - for making our stay so comfortable and so easy. We will miss the morning birdsong
