The location of the property is excellent, the building had a bad smell in hallway 9 where we stayed, and the truth is that the property needs more love, everything needs to be renovated a bit, the beds are not comfortable and you can see that it has old things, there was almost no water, you couldn't use 2 things at the same time because you would run out of water.

Great place for small family. Great beach view and close location to all entertainments. Well furnished with all necessary items. Clean and very easy check in.

The condo was great for a group of 5 The view was wonderful and it was a short walk to the beach. We had a great 1st trip to south padre.

By far the best VRBO rental! The condo is updated, clean and very well stocked with all the kitchen gadgets & dishwares needed for a fantastic beach vacation. While we brought spices, EVOO, sponge, dish soap, paper towels (as stated to do in rental contract) previous guests had left some items so we paid it forward and left ours. Was a nice surprise and we tried new spices! The condo was so comfortable we hated to leave!
The building itself is in good shape and the grounds well maintained. The staff was friendly and we never had issues using the pool or waiting for the elevator. Having private beach access is the best, so nice to not lug everything to the beach when you can return to your condo to get a break from the sun.
The view of the ocean from the living room never got old! It was way too windy & humid to enjoy coffee or wine on the balcony but wasn’t necessary when you can enjoy it from the couch.
Greg was great with communication and very responsive. Will definitely rent again!

There are cracks on 3 of the 4 chairs on the balcony. The place could use some updates but the location and the view were wonderful!

We absolutely loved our visit to South Padre Island. Our condo was perfect for us. The owner was very responsive with our questions. The hair dryer was missing and he immediately had one sent up to us. The view was amazing. We will definitely be back and would choose this condo again!!

The property, room and view were all very accurate, clean, and perfect for our get away from the Midwest. The walks on the beach, dining and shopping were easily accessible on the island. I also appreciated the lovely pool courtyard and hot tub! I highly recommend this condo as it came fully equipped with kitchen items, towels, sheets and more! I look forward to returning to South Padre Island and the Rio Grande Valley with every intention of seeing if THIS condo is available again!

We had a great time with beautiful weather. Right practically on the beach with great view. The place was clean. The only thing we found was that their were some wine drinking glasses that did not get cleaned well in the cabinets. We would stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay! Perfect view of the beach every morning. Also could watch the fireworks from the balcony. There was two teenagers and two little ones and 2 adult. It was just right for us. Pool and hot tub were clean and very nice. Loved that it was gated. Felt very safe. Will definitely go back

Perfect little getaway for our family. The condo had absolutely everything we needed and was super clean. The location was perfect! We could walk to anything and everything in no time!!! The view was absolutely beautiful overlooking the beach! I would definitely return without hesitation!!!

This is our second visit at Mr. Dotson's Condo at the Aquarius. This condo has a breathe taking view, comfortable beds and in is perfectly located. Our kids loved their room and the decor. We are hoping to come back this summer. Thank you for your hospitality.

Coming from FREEZING Colorado, a weekend in this charming condo is just what my family needed! Cozy, clean, and a great view of the beautiful ocean! The staff/residents were friendly and wonderful, the pool was warm, the beach was well kept and everything we dreamed of! Comfy beds, big shower, and even a toy box full of beach toys for the kids. Thank you Greg & Sandy for sharing your little slice of heaven with us!

This condo is very well kept and in a great location. We throughly enjoyed our stay and will probably be making this an annual trip. The room faces east so you can sit on the balcony and watch the sunrise with your cup of coffee.

We loved the storage space available with cabinets in the bedrooms, great closets, and lots of shelf space in the bathroom. Very enjoyable! We want to rent this property again next year! location was very good. the condo was very clean and kitchen had everything needed for cooking. laundry room conveniently works with an app, so you do not need to bother with coins.
i definitely recommend this location as a great stay for a family.

It was okay, just first day was bad. Wasn’t clean so didn’t get into room til 9pm. So my guest was staying later and they got mad, but was there fault. Overall the rest of the stay was good.

Beautiful ocean views from the 9th floor! Secure parking lot and complex with easy access to the beach and walking distance to restaurants, shopping etc
Staff was polite and very helpful. Owner had exceptional communication and very comfotable unit.

Everything you need with an ocean view
This condo was perfect for my family of five. It is on the beach with a beautiful view! The location is stellar, too! You can walk to great restaurants and shopping. Parasailing and banana boat rides are just across the main road as well. The condo was well appointed with plenty of dishes and pots and pans for a meal at home. There were plenty of linens and blankets, and the beds are very comfortable! The hosts were attentive and easy to contact, should you need anything. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

Nice views, dated but clean, minor issues with shower
The photos of the unit were accurate. The condo building and amenities are well kept, though this unit is a bit dated. The shower door (glass) was broken upon our arrival, which was a holiday weekend so we had to deal with that hazard for a couple of days since this is the only place to shower. Owner apologized but didn’t offer us anything for the inconvenience, just blamed the prior guests. The shower door issue should have been identified and repaired before our stay. Water pressure is terrible so I never felt clean after a shower either. Parking was sometimes tricky as well but again we were there during a holiday week so maybe it’s not normally that tight. Fold out couch is not comfortable for adult, but child could sleep comfortably there. Beds were comfortable. Other than these issues, we had a nice stay. Not trying to be negative, just wanting to share our real experience with anyone considering this unit so they know what to expect.

Clean room nice view
The room was great overall clean with a great view. The only complaint we have is that we have 2 family members near the area we haven't seen in 30 years that wanted to grill for a few hours by the pool with us and the property did not offer a visitors band or anything. Over all pretty good. Great location!
