Great location, very close to main street deland. Minutes to daytona beach, ormond beach, etc. Home nicely appointed. Great wifi and tv service, rooms comfortable. Beds nice too. Kitchen had most of the items needed to cook but a couple of the pans were a bit tired and could maybe be replaced. Quiet street. Nice area to walk around as well. Staying again!

The house was perfect for our needs. It is an old house so of course there were minor issues, but I would definitely stay there again. The owners were very easy to contact and quick to reply. Plenty of parking on the gravel driveway and side parking area. Owner made access to the shed for us to use which was awesome. It is within walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants. The property is motorcycle friendly, but one neighborhood not so much. All in all a great place to stay. Can't beat the price for the size, location and cleanliness of the property.

Charming, spacious, very clean home, close to downtown- walking distance, great host- this served as our home for an 80th birthday weekend celebration with siblings gathered from around the country - the off street spacious parking was a huge plus for all of us -coming from various places and times. The property is as depicted. the neighborhood is spotted with older in need of attention homes and some newly renovated, The location is very convenient to the main street, but sits back so it is very peaceful. Lots of amenities! Very well stocked and very very clean. Chris is very responsive--would definitely recommend this host/property and would stay again.

This property was perfect for our purposes. My daughter was married in New Smyrna Beach, and we rented this place to serve as our wedding headquarters. It was large enough that we were able to spread out so each one had his or her own space to work, baking wedding cakes, flower arranging, and everything else we had to do to prepare for the big day. The house was pleasant, the neighborhood peaceful, and our stay wonderful. The town was pleasant too, but we were unable to do much exploring because of wedding prep. But I would definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises.

We enjoyed our stay at this home. It easily fit the nine of us for the weekend. While this is a nice home and is well-kept, the other homes in the neighborhood are rather run-down. It is a short walk to the downtown area for dinner and breakfast.

Travelled for a collegiate baseball tournament, house location is 5 min from Stetson, 2 blocks from historic Main Street Deland. House is like a travel back in time, very maintained and clean. Better for a family reunion, neighbors are sensitive to a large and loud parties

This was a beautiful property with a great location to downtown shops and restaurants. The property manager was quick and efficient in getting back to us with all of our questions.

I really wanted to like this property but it disappointed on so many levels. First the neighborhood is a bit scary with most of the close properties were in disrepair. Second - it really wasn't very clean. We immediately washed all the towels as they had a pretty funky smell. I dropped something on the bathroom floor and was horrified with what the paper towel picked up with the lotion. Third - With the exception of the bed in the downstairs, the mattresses were horrible. A few of our group chose to sleep on the couch because of the mattresses. Fourth - Many things were in disrepair such as first floor bathroom with a large amount of peeling paint. Fifth - The art work was very creepy and the stuff of nightmares. I will provide two positive comments - The third floor got pretty warm and the air conditioning worked great. The large dining room table was a good place to gather and play games. I would not stay at this property again and would not recommend it to anyone. Deland on the other hand is a cute town worth a visit but I will stay at the Marriott Courtyard for the next visit.

Perfect size for my large family. Several restaurants and bars within walking distance. Neighborhood is lovely and neighbors were friendly. Very charming home, my kids were enthralled with a “record player” and exploring the house. Pack and play and high chair much appreciated!

This property is perfect for a family reunion...lots of room for all. Nice kitchen, laundry, and a second tv/game area on the third floor. A wonderful front porch. Big back yard. Easy walk to downtown DeLand...and there's so much to do there. Quiet street. We had a great time.

Awesome house ....easily accommodated 11 of us. Bathrooms ample. Kitchenbwas great . The washer and dryer was so helpful especially w the amount of towel usage. Loved the fire pit and porch. Very close to downtown! Had a great time there. Thank you

This home is very cozy and makes you feel welcomed from the moment you walk in. Great property manager that was very accommodating. Highly recommend it.

Can't wait to do it again

I felt like I stepped through time. The house has been renovated with modern conveniences, but left the old world character. We had 6 adults on the 3rd floor and never heard them on the second floor. It was very welcoming with everything we needed right there, as if we were staying at a hotel. Chris always got back with me in a timely manner and accommodated our last minute needs. Loved the experience.

Seven of us...loved the house and the location. Easy living and so good for a group! Chris was easy to work with and very accommodating. Suggestions: house might be really warm in the summer months, so ask that AC be turned on before arrival. Also, twin beds upstairs would be best for some a bit younger than our group...maybe teenagers, etc. Lots of stairs and no bathroom on the third floor...an issue for us 60+ year old ladies. We loved it and would absloutely stay there again!

Came to Deland to attend our daughter's wedding at nearby Harmony Gardens. The house was beautifully furnished and able to easily fit the 10 of us. Plenty of room to relax and hang out. Kitchen was a little sparse on equipment, but Chris was very accommodating and responsive to our needs. House is located within walking distance of the lovely DeLand downtown area. Had a great time walking around and visiting various shops. The house was great for our purposes.

Great place to stay with the size group we ended up having. It was close to all the places we wanted to visit, the rooms and beds were comfortable and the house was clean. Chris was a good host and took care of any needs we seemed to have.

This is our second time staying at this home for an event in Deland. It is an adorable house with plenty of room for everyone. The location cannot be beat as you can walk into town in about three minutes! Everything is always spotless and the owner is Chris is quick to answer any questions if needed. We plan on renting again and again in the future. Love this home!

House has everything you need. Plenty of room, nice front porch. House is an older house with quirky layout. As long as you like character and don't expect a hotel it's great.

We chose this location to stay for a wedding we we're attending in Sanford. The owner of the rental was extremely nice and accommodating. We needed to reschedule our trip a month before and he immediately responded and refunded me the remainder. He brought over a kettle and a toaster as soon as I asked for it. He let us check in early and check out late. However, the place itself is very old and not very well maintained. The pictures are quite deceptive. The floor has random dips in it throughout the house. My aunt fell down because of one of them. The stairs are very steep and slippery which could be rectified by putting carpet. The bathrooms we're leaking and it looked like they were falling apart. The tile in the tub in one of the bathrooms was basically broken. Downstairs bathroom leaked when you showered in the upstairs bathroom. The top floor was extremely hot, the AC didn't work well up there. the carpet did not seem clean and it had tons of stains. There was only one accessible outlet on the top level. There is no bathroom and also no mirrors on the top floor. We struggled a lot using mirrors (we were getting ready for a wedding) since only 2 of the 5 rooms contained mirrors. The towels we're damp when we got the house. There was also no curtain or cover on the front window so you could always clearly see into the house which we were uncomfortable with. Overall, the house seemed dirty and old. I understand that it was a historic house, but I wish it was better maintained.
