The house was as advertised. A short 3-5min walk to a small beach that is not crowded. We traveled with two families and four toddlers. Everyone had their own space and never felt crowded. Highly recommend.

Great location!

The house was very comfortable and relaxing. It had everything we needed for a family weekend getaway. It’s on a quiet street and just a short walk to the beach. I would recommend!

Our families loved the well decoratedhouse, good spaces for the adults and teens to hangout. The firepit was a big hit, lots of smores were enjoyed while the adults loved grilling. We ending up eating around a few tables and the island as we couldn't all fit at one table. We just had a few maintence issues that should be an easy fix such as the upstairs shower drained slowly, the fan didn't work, and the sliding screen needed attention. The location was great and we'd come back again.

Our second year at this house. It is perfect for our family group. Very clean and equipped with everything. Highly recommend.

7 of us, mid 30s-40s, stayed in this home. It was very comfy and accommodating! The neighborhood is a quiet short tree lined culdesac. Clean homes and yards surround it. The home is slightly smaller than it appears in pictures, but not unusually so. Nick was very responsive. We had an unforeseen plumbing issue with a shower that he had been unaware of prior to our visit. Due to that inconvenience, he very generously offered us a free couple of nights sometime. I have no doubt he would do that! The home was tastefully decorated. The walk to the lake is just as stated: 5 minutes or less:) There is a small area that is public at the bottom of the stairs. It is a "deep" beach area and you couldn't see the end of walkable beach in either direction. First time in South Haven. We did a weekend trip with 4 total couples. The house was really clean, and in a good location. The living area was comfortable and spacious enough for all 8 of us to hang out. The owner was very responsive to questions. We would definitely come back to this house, but probably during the warmer months when more things in town are open.

This place is beautiful. It’s cozy and comfortable, and it’s also in a great location. We have been taking a fall weekend trip for well over twenty years, and this place is calling us back.

This was a great property for our group- the house is updated and there is plenty of space. It’s close enough to everything in town while being on a low traffic quiet street. We had a great stay!

This was our second time back at this property because we loved it so much. Perfect for two families with kids. Great back yard, perfect location to walk to small beach or golf cart ride to north and south beach as well as down town. We love it here!

We stayed here in early August with my extended family and it was a great experience. The house is clean and well maintained, and they really have everything you need from fans to kitchenware to baby items all in the house available for you to use. We really enjoyed the deck and yard space (with swing set!) that let us be outside while at home vs. properties more in town. We loved the quiet neighborhood, and it's less than a 5 min walk across the street to the closest beach. That closest beach is very small, but it was perfect for us and was super convenient vs. battling parking at crowds at North beach. We definitely recommend this house and would book again!

This is our second time staying in this home. It did not disappoint. Our two families started vacationing in this home together. We had a terrific time. We spent our beach days at Newcomb Beach (which we'd avoided the first time) - which worked out perfectly this time around! We had a bonfire, enjoyed the grill. There was an issue with the basketball hoop and Nick (owner) was on top of it right away. We even thought we may have left something (a week later) and Nick again was quick and helpful. We were able to watch the fireworks at Newcomb Beach. Everyone in attendance was kind and respectful. There was no anger about who had more beach space, coming and going was smooth as well. It was so enjoyable. We walked to Bunde's Bakery a couple times. It was a nice walk. We didn't bring our bikes this time, but you could easily bike everywhere from this house as well. There is so much to do in SoHa. We thoroughly enjoyed our time.

Great space for two small families - great location! Host was good to communicate with ~ would stay again

Plenty of room for our family of ten people. Three generations and there was enough space for all. The kitchen was well-stocked, and there were comfortable beds for everyone. Easy walk to Newcome Beach and several other small beaches, which was much more enjoyable than dealing with the crowds at the larger beaches. Didn’t use the deck or yard at all, but the screened three-season room was ideal for our morning coffee. Fantastic week and we hope to return often!

Loved this house. Bedroom layouts were perfect for our family. The open spaces on the first level were great for everyone just hanging around. Adult (kids) loved the backyard fire pit. We'll come back.

My family rented this home over Memorial Day Weekend 2022 and had an amazing time. We had 7 adults and kids ages 6 months, 10 months, 3 years, 6 years and 8 years. You cannot beat the location of this home. It is even closer to the beach then I expected. We had no issues walking with our young kids. Also very convenient location to downtown. A quick 5 minute drive to downtown and a 5 min walk to the beach. Location was great! The house itself was very nice. It does have a few minor cosmetic things that could have been fixed like loose toilets, holes in some of the bedding, nicer patio furniture but nothing major that impacted our stay. The amount of items this house supplied was AMAZING! They truly try to make everything so convenient for the renter. This house supplied hand soap, toilet paper, any kitchen utensil you'd ever need, baby items, beach chairs and so much more. Very comfortable beds and living room furniture. Truly was a wonderful vacation and a great place to stay. The owner was very friendly, quick to answer any questions we had and easy to work with. If we find ourselves in South Haven again we wouldn't hesitate to rent this property!

Fun time with family. A bit chilly on the beach this time of year but did get to play in the sand one day. Steep stairs for little ones but there is a gate provided. We will certainly visit again.
