The unit is quite dated. We had issues with the WiFi which we had to solves ourselves.

Great location, communicative managers, tools and main things that you need. Only 'issue' that is kind of to be expected with being a pet friendly place, is it has a bit of a pet smell but not awful. Overall, recommend it.

The bad surprise - ebikes are not allowed on Kiawah Island. This was never mentioned in any information received or written about the condo or Kiawah Island. All info speaks of 30+ miles of bike paths which is why we came to Kiawah. If we knew ebikes were not allowed, we would not have rented. Recommend this info be highlighted for future renters.

A wonderful trip to Kiawah island and Charleston. The weather wasn’t fantastic but that didn’t stop us from getting out and about to enjoy all that the area has to offer. Sea La Vie was a great base, allowing us to get away from downtown Charleston but still be close enough, bike rides, walks, beach time and lots of great food at Kiawah and in Charleston. The apartment was well stocked with everything we needed, very clean and comfortable. The iTrip team was responsive and helpful in planning and providing discount codes for our bikes. A great trip.

SeaLaVie is a Kiawah Island treasure! Nestled in the trees, backing up to a quiet lagoon, and an easy walk to the beach. The hosts anticipated all of our needs. Our dogs enjoyed their stay as much as we did! We will definitely be back.

My wife and I (+ dog) stayed in this very nice apartment for 2 weeks in February as a “work-cation.” Clearly this unit has had some upgrades recently. Kitchen cabinets were all new and very nice. Shower tiling and fixtures in the master bath seemed new. Bed in master had a very comfortable “memory foam” mattress. We didn’t utilize the bed in the guestroom but I think it was also a memory-foam bed. Very quiet and nice view (with deck) out the back onto one of Kiawah’s ponds. I’d estimate it was ~7 minute walk to the beach which was nice. We cooked most meals in and found it had all the pots, pans, and utensils we needed. Washer/Dryer worked without a hitch. The hard-surface flooring also seemed new and nice. The carpet could probably stand a cleaning, but it’s a dog-friendly unit: I’m sure every dog visiting sits on the carpet close to the front door awaiting its owners! Internet (AT&T) was good. We had one blip on the first day we were there when it seemed to go out, but that was short-lived (~10 minutes). I set up my computer on a small work table in the guest room which is on the opposite end of the unit from the router and it was functional (streamed video meetings, etc.) but not super-fast. Simply moving the router up off the floor from where it is positioned would probably help. TVs were strategically placed and had good service. Check-in/Check-out were smooth with lots of helpful information and links provided up-front. We had no need to contact our hosts during our stay. We would recommend this apartment to others and would stay again.

We had a wonderful, relaxing week in Kiawah. The condo was perfect for our needs and was exactly as advertised.

The property was even better than expected. Clean, well appointed, and convenient. We would definitely stay again.

Nice layout. Great location. Nicely stocked kitchen supplies. Bed was missing a mattress pad, but that was corrected soon after owner was notified.

My wife and I stayed at this property for 4 nights during the week of September 17. The property was exactly as advertised and was the perfect/relaxing stay, The location was absolutely terrific as we could literally walk to the beach in 5 minutes. Restaurants and market ( Harris teater that we loved) were also quite close and we enjoyed this convenience. This was our first trip to Kiawah and our only wish was that we stayed longer . We will be back !!

This unit is extremely clean & it’s pet friendly!! A double plus !! The location is awesome ! A 5 minute walk to the beach. This beach is amazing !! At low tide it is sooooo big and the sand is bike rideable ! Nice and hard packed. I can’t say enough about SeaLa Vie other than I wish we could have stayed longer ! ❤️😊

We loved the place. The only downside, which is out of the property’s control was the misquitos we’re so bad we could barely stand being outside. Bring a lot of big repellent

We had a great stay here and enjoyed bringing our dog. The master bed was a little hard for our liking but the villa had everything we needed and was accurately described. We would definitely rent again!

Our stay was great! Everyday, we walked to the beach for a beautiful afternoon of sun, biking, reading and splashing in the water. It was fun to bike around. Having Freshfields with groceries, shopping and restaurants was so convenient. We made several forays into Charleston for fabulous meals. The golfing was spectacular. Sea La Vie was the perfect launching point.

This is our second time staying at this property. The condo is perfectly appointed, conveniently located and clean! We stayed with our 3 year old, 1 year old and dog and enjoyed the quick walk to the beach and convenient location to the conference center. Thanks Sea La Vie!

I’ve been coming to Kiawah for 28 years. This is the nicest villa I’ve stayed in. Last summer I came with my husband and my dog. When I was booking my beach vacation for this year with just my daughter, I knew to book this one. Perfect little walk to the beach; nice cozy deck off the back for morning coffee and late night relaxing. Beautifully decorated inside. The owners are super nice too. I’d be interested in booking this villa in the winter when we come down to look for a place to buy for a retirement.

Just as described. VERY close walk to the beach, quiet setting but the best part is IF you have questions the host is very quick to answer and informative!

This unit worked well for us. I can’t think of anything that we needed with the exception of containers to hold leftovers from our gatherings. I realize these would disappear every season.

This villa is perfect for a wonderful vacation. It is well maintained and conveniently located. My family enjoyed golf and a day trip to Charleston, Sullivans Island, Folly's Beach and Isle of Palms. The property management is very conscientious with emails and texts to keep you informed.

We throughly enjoyed our stay. Our dog had a great time on the beach which is 5 mins away. The residence is exactly as advertised. Very quiet area. Freshfields plaza is a 5 min drive, recommend King St Grille who are dog friendly. Village like feel place for groceries, pizza plus other shops.

Place had receny been redone very nicely noisy Upstairs and side units both created lots of noise through the walls the king size mattress was so hard and uncomfortable could not use the bed. The queen sized bed had urine stains on the mattress and mattress pad which we cleaned Porch furniture n the das upgrading. Not much of a view It was nice to have tv access to Netflix Probably would not go back for the expense. Thanks
