Loved every minute. Perfect cottage. Its always exciting and nerve racking at the same time when you are approaching for the first time!! But this certainly does not disappoint. Perfect cottage at the end of the lane overlooking the cove. We arrived when Hurricane was approaching so the white caps were awesome. Very solid building… didn't even shake during the storm. We could kinda hear the wind.. thats it. Walk to the beach …lots of seaweed and we didn't walk across the sea way that blocked us from the other side of the beach, but if we took off shoes and had shorts on we could have! Cottage was FULLY stocked with everything you need for your stay. There were books, toys for kids, outdoor games and even a pool table. We loved walking up the lane and to the end of the road, some very cool cottages up the way. We went into town for supper at the Breakwater restaurant… which was a lovely location with great mussels. Carmel and Boyd have done a great job with this spot! Thanks for the wine! And thanks to your neighbour for letting us pick from their vegetable garden! So much fun.

Loved our short 3 night stay and wished we would have had more time to rest at this cottage. Location was perfect and the cottage had everything you could possibly need for an island stay, down to a beach umbrella and towels! Thanks for the buckets and shovels for clam digging!

Our family really enjoyed our stay for 3 nights at this cottage. It was clean and supplied with everything we needed for our stay - and more - including a well equipped kitchen, beach towels, and indoor and outdoor games. Carmel was easy to communicate with and quick to respond to questions. The property itself is in a quiet part of the island but close enough to Souris (about 20 min drive) to get any supplies you may need, or have a meal out. If your goal is to explore the rest of the island from here, be aware that there will be 1-1.5 hours driving each way to get to the more touristy locations. If you're looking for a quiet place to relax with friends and family and enjoy the view from the deck, and/or explore nearby beaches, this is a perfect spot.

This is an extremely well outfitted cottage with stunning views. It is located within a 15 minute drive to Souris which has all required amenities (grocery store, pharmacy, etc). Hosts provided lots of information about the rental and surrounding area and were responsive to all our inquiries. From the moment we walked in, we could tell that Carmel & Boyd wanted us to feel at home. The well manicured yard also provided lots of space for our dogs to run and play. Thank you for making our stay relaxing and memorable.

This is the best rental I've ever stayed in... it does not get better than this! The house is so well laid out, and the hosts have everything you might need (plenty of extra linens, the kitchen has every type of pot/pan you could want), plenty of seating, kids toys, books/DVDs/games... the location is breathtaking! Carmel is very responsive to messages as well. We traveled for two days to get to PEI, and this rental did not disappoint!

This was our first time visiting PEI and we will definitely return soon. We can't review the cottage listed on VRBO due to a last minute unexpected hitch however the host was amazing and provided a cottage next door to the one we had booked, with the same awesome views and beach access. The host was very quick at replying to messages and resolved all minor issues. This host is definitely a super host!

We had a wonderful stay at Carmel & Boyd’s ocean cottage. The property is right along the coast and gave us some spectacular views and sunrises. The cottage itself is clean and had lots of room for us and our dog. Despite Hurricane Fiona rushing us out on our final day of vacation we had a lovely time in PEI, and hope to visit again. Thank you for opening up your cottage to us!

We really enjoyed our stay. We visited some nearby areas which was nice. The house was well-equipped and we all had a blast playing pool. It was very warm and welcoming and comfortable. The property owners left us a welcome gift also which we appreciated!

My sister and I stayed at the beach house for three nights. We had a bit of trouble finding it but as we approached it we smiled with delight. A gorgeous view from the deck! The beach house was spacious and lovely. Great kitchen. Carmel and Boyd were wonderful. They popped in to bring us some utensils for our lobster dinner and were quick to answer any questions we had. I have some mobility issues so beach access was a bit tricky for me, however I loved enjoying a glass of wine on the deck and watching the ocean view. We would love to come back to this spot!

We had a wonderful time at the cottage. It was super spacious and was very well stocked with anything we may have needed during our stay. The view from the back deck was beautiful and we made sure to enjoy it as much as possible.

Such a wonderful property with fabulous bay views and a great beach. Everything was carefully thought through to make us feel at home and in need of nothing. Highly recommended!

Our family found this wonderful cottage in 2021 and immediately booked it for 2022. It is absolutely gorgeous, and one of our favorite places to stay and be on the island! The owners are fantastic people, great communicators, and really keep their place up well! We are sad that we won’t be able to come next summer but we already plan to return for 2024. It’s a home away from home!

This cottage is exactly as pictured. It is beautifully furnished and equipped. Roomy and clean. It's only "drawback" is that it is out of the way. You will have to drive to get to Souris (15 min) Charlottetown (1 hour) etc. BUT - this location is absolutely worth it. We even skipped certain outings because we just preferred to stay in, relax in this cozy, beautiful spot. We'll definitely be back.

This vacation home offers everything you could possibly need. It was very modern & well kept. My family & I enjoyed eating on the deck with the beautiful ocean view behind us. The owners are very lovely to deal with & went above and beyond to welcome us to their cottage.

Great location/base for touring the eastern part of the island and the property and the grounds were exactly as listed. Very relaxing spot, great unspoiled view. We had great weather so the deck got a lot of use.

Loved the peacefulness of the location. The cottage was private, welcoming, clean and comfortable. We very much appreciated the little welcome gift awaiting our arrival!

Absolutely stunning property. Cottage was spacious, clean and just an all around great cottage. The pool table was a great addition for a great evening activity. We loved our stay.

Hidden gem located in a quiet area overlooking the water! Cottage had all the amenities you could ask for- the pool table was a hit and the washer toss for us all. The morning views are second to none! We were pleasantly surprised by a great that was waiting upon our arrival. Absolutely amazing spot! Perfect location just a minute walk from a beautiful beach that can be seen from the window of the beautiful cottage. Hosts were very helpful in letting us know what was around to do and eat! Also the location is nice and private as well! I wish we booked the place for longer. We will definitely be coming back to this spot someday!!! Definitely recommend

Souris is only 15 mins away.The cottage is well equiped (kitchen especially), the pool table is a fun thing to have in the evenings. Nice setup with 2 bedrooms. We all enjoy running and this was a great spot to enjoy a run on flat rolling terrain on a quiet road with some scenic views... Host Carmel had some yummy treats waiting for us and was accessible if needed. Loved the cottage and would recommend it highly.
