We stayed a week enjoying the beautiful vegetable and ornamental gardens. Amazing, well-equipped kitchen and lovely well decorated living space. Everything was there. Melanie gave suggestions for local walks and shared the bounty from her garden.

We loved the feel of this property. Very well stocked kitchen, beautiful relaxing garden space. We will be back!

The suite is ideal. Large, comfortable & clean. The deck with furniture is perfect for enjoying the outdoor space allotted to the suite. The location is great. A quiet spot yet quick access to trails, beaches, shopping, etc. This was our 3rd stay and we plan on returning. Thank you to our kind host, Melanie.

Great location and peaceful setting

Attention to detail was just the beginning. Beautiful property and wonderful garden to sit in after a day of hiking and visiting the town of comox . We were made to feel very welcome and enjoyed the fresh picked berries and wine that was left for us on arrival. Extremely quiet location that we both needed. We loved staying here ! The hosts were very friendly and welcoming.

As before our stay was easy, relaxing, nice to come home to after a long days work. Loved it!

We spent 5 nights at Melanie's, we would have liked to stay longer. It is a beautiful home, with all the comforts you might need, with fresh flowers in every room. The garden off the deck was a bonus, such a wonderful and quiet setting. We had deer out back one morning and hummingbirds flitting through the garden. Melanie is a Great Hostess, so accommodating and helpful. The proximity to town was ideal for our early morning fishing charter. We will definitely stay there again.

Melanie and Colin went over the top to ensure our stay was the best it could be. Our first time travelling out of province and they made the stay completely worry free.

The property was beautiful, inside and out! Melanie was fantastic! She messaged me one evening to let me know there was cake on my deck for me and another time to let me know she left cookies for me in the laundry room. I cannot say enough good things about her and Colin. Suite was nicely decorated and comfortable, all amenities were there, and we wanted for nothing. Should the need arise, i would stay there again and would recommend the place to anyone!!

There isn't much not to love about this spot. For us the location was spectacular as it provides quick access to Goose Spit and Ellis Beach, yet just far enough from town to feel like you're in the country. Their garden is full of color which really adds a nice charm. Will definitely be back!

It so quiet and the place has everything you need with great hosts. Our elderly dog who is scared of stairs likes that it’s on one level. Such a private property with trees everywhere and sheep next door. Great location too. We have been a few times now but just bought a house not too far away so we are moving over 🏝

Very comfortable suite with everything you need for a great stay. The deck is such a nice spot for chilling with a book or taking in the beautiful garden. The location is awesome. Quiet, peaceful, private. Close to Ocean, trails and town. Melanie is a terrific host. We’ll stay here again!

Great biking and walking close by. Also close to town for shopping and dining. The unit has all the amenities you need as well as a nice outdoor space with bbq.

This was our 2nd visit to Melanie's vacation suite. Hiking, biking, beaches, shopping are all close by. I especially liked spending time on the private deck with 2 large umbrellas to protect from the hot sun! My husband enjoyed using the barbeque. We look forward to returning. Very nicely appointed guest house with everything you need. Location is great, within walking distance to beaches and trails. Nice and quiet and comfortable. No air con. but fans were fine. Stayed at a very hot time of the year. Hosts were friendly and there to help if needed.

This was a quiet property in a beautiful neighborhood a little ways from town and the water. It was easy to get to the local places, the property itself is very nice with all necessary accoutrements and you can cook with their implements! The owners were quite nice and completely non-intrusive. I went to escape the US fireworks with my dog, and had a lovely quiet time. There was a bottle of wine and a chocolate bar included as a sweet gift as well! BTW- this is not waterfront, which I had thought due to misinterpreting the picture on the waterfront. It is a lovely garden property in the woods.

This is a beautiful property and spotless interior, just an easy 10 minute drive from Comox Airport using the coast road , the private deck was nice although it was to hot the week we were there to fully enjoy it as there is no shade from the sun maybe a small sun umbrella would be a good addition Melanie did invite us to use the shaded area of her garden that has an umbrella and seating she was also very helpful in letting us know about places to visit in the area that we didn't know about , we had a very very nice week there

The accommodation was lovely and we had everything we needed. We enjoyed having a lovely deck to relax on in the evening. The property was amazing!! Wonderful gardens to wander through and was so inviting.

Melanie Power offered us a relaxing week in her one bedroom apartment. Well equipped kitchen as all amenities. Quiet and well located near several different beaches. Highly recommended.

We had a great stay. We were super busy house shopping but it was such a nice quiet place to stay. Hearing the birds in the morning was just like home and you could hear a pin drop outside at night. Hosts were great and it was close to town yet far enough away. You could totally stay here for an extended stay as it has everything you need. We would totally come back😎

We loved this stay so much we've decided to retire here. This property has gorgeous gardens, is well appointed and was spotlessly clean. Our hosts were very friendly. The location was perfect for visiting the beach and walking in numerous forests.

Very spacious and comfortable- Melanie was an excellent host. We did lots of cycling in the area and had a wonderful stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The suite is ideal. Clean, large, comfortable bed & living room furniture, great layout, ground level suite with private deck off the entrance, perfect for morning coffee. Our French Bulldog loved investigating our outdoor space which is surrounded by beautiful gardens. I loved the personal touches - fresh cut dahlias, beautiful fresh herb bouquet, delish home baked cookies. Perfect location for access to trails, ocean, downtown Comox & Courtenay. Our hosts were visible & available, never intrusive. We look forward to a return visit. Thanks Melanie & Colin.
