Kitchen was well equipped and the bed was spacious and comfortable. The weather was cool, so we used the fireplace often. It didn't give off much heat and cycled on and off frequently. It might need service. Most of the furniture was comfortable with the exception of the chair near the deck which could use new cushions. The common elements are beautiful and well maintained. The location was great, close to a walking path along the beach front to the pier. Good proximity to a variety of restaurants and fish markets. We will likely book again.

There was alot of other construction in the complex as well. The workers worked longer than the posted hours. We stayed last year in a different unit and this one was much cleaner and in a better location. We were able to walk to the harbor for our meals and also one morning walked around the entire harbor are to get in our 5 miles. We also walked to the pier and a bit further along the Strand a couple of mornings. The view from our condo was excellent, although I do wish that they would have made the lanais more private with an extension that blocked the view from adjoining units. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Check in and check out couldn't be any simpler. I would recommend any friends or family to stay in this complex. One really cool thing we did is take The Coaster to San Diego to visit Old Town to have a late lunch. Next time we will take the Old Town Trolly for the tour. The Hwy 101 Cafe is great for breakfast and the Lighthouse for Happy Hour tacos is worth the walk.

Clean, perfect space and location.

This was a vacation for my 2 teenage sons (16 & 18) and myself. We knew we wanted to visit San Diego and LA and this town was the perfect middle-ground for our adventures. What I didn't know was that I would enjoy being at the resort as much as traveling the other cities and wish I had left more time to just sit here and relax. I loved watching both the marina and beach with the early morning surfers, from our deck. I also enjoyed sitting by the pool and walking the grounds and beach. It's a beautifully maintained resort and I plan to come back. As for our room... It was everything we needed. It was a one bedroom/one bath that had a pull out couch in the living room, which worked fine for us. The space wasn't huge, so I folded up the bed/couch daily to give us room to move around, but that was simple. Coming from the southeast, the lack of AC worried me, but I quickly learned the climate is much different in this area. Luckily there was a fan and with that and open windows, it felt great (I did have to sit in front of the fan to dry my hair.) Thanks for a wonderful stay.

The decor was very tasteful, shower was wonderful, everything you needed in the kitchen, lots of linens- everything very neat and organized. The “June Bloom” weather was a disappointment but the location & view from the unit was great. I would suggest there be a bench in the bedroom window niche, to put the comforter & bed pillows on, at night when sleeping. As the very comfortable bed is high, you can’t use it when putting shoes on, so a bench would come in handy for that also. Also 2 hand towel rings mounted on the walls on either side of the vanity. ,would be nice. Other than those, everything was great and we hope to come back to Casa del Sol again!!

We loved the complex and location. However the carpet has stains all over in living room and bedroom and just felt dirty. The pans and cookie sheets looked dirty and were very old. There was a stain on a sheet, blanket and towel. We recommend North Coastal Village but not this condo. Owners need to make some changes. Disappointed that VRBO has this condo on their website.

The property is beautiful and so clean. We needed to extend our stay for one more day and they were able to accommodate us easily. They had ceiling fans and floor fans, but this unit has no AC (which wasn’t a problem in late October). Would definitely stay here again. Also, the views from the balcony were so nice to enjoy with coffee.

The property needs A/C during heat wave times. A freestanding unit is needed. The whole complex has no AC and is probably not an issue except a few months of the year. It was over 90 degrees inside our rental about 20 hours of the day. The outdoor areas are beautiful and it’s right on the beach. The positive outweighs the negative here but be careful in August and September.

I have stayed twice at North Coast Village and both times I have no complaints. Good atmosphere, nice well kept property, beach adjacent and kid friendly. I would stay here a third time for sure.

The property was what we were looking for. Clean, comfortable and convient to pool, beach and restaurants. Complex is fenced which makes it great if you have young children. The only negative was the coffee pot was a coffee nate and didn't handle kcups.

We are very familiar with the complex at North Coast Village as my family owned a unit at one time. This unit was great and as expected. No surprises and would stay there again.

We took our grandchildren to Legoland and the zoo. This place was worth the extra investment. We were right on the beach and the place was well kept. I highly recommend this location for a convenient and fun place to stay.
