Myself and my teenage kid had a great stay. The apartment has everything we needed (and more). It was considerably bigger than I had anticipated and a fantastic way to start our West coast trip (without a car). Location: A short walk to both the Hollywood Bowl and Walk of Fame. It involves a steep hill if you go via Yamashiro (great views) but it's a fairly easy walk via Highland, and there's a 7-Eleven and liquor store within easy walking distance for supplies. There are stairs down to the property, but this is clearly stated in the description, and they are strablr andwell lit. We got Lyfts to and from LAX for around $40 (+tip) and it took about an hour each way. We easily got public transport to both Griffith park and Universal studios. Facilities: the apartment had everything we could expect and more! The kitchen was well equipped with plates, bowls, and a wide range of cooking supplies (as well as coffee, which was hugely appreciated!) The living room had a dining table, comfy sofas, and a huge TV with a range of channels and apps. The bedrooms had very comfortable beds, a range of pillows and clean, nice linens. The bathroom had a shower with excellent water pressure, and very useful washer dryer. There is interesting art throughout the property, and AC in the master bedroom and living room (other rooms were naturally cooler). We absolutely loved our stay there. It was an ideal base for the two of us as it felt enormous, comfortable, safe, and interesting!

This rental is unique. A few blocks off Hollywood Blvd. and right next to the Hollywood Bowl it is a convenient location. The decorations definately let you know where you are and put you in the LA mood. Furnishings are a bit tired and the bathroom layout is odd because it is an old structure and not very good. Parking is tight but manageable. We would recommend if you want a good location with a hollywood theme and can sacrafice some of the newer amenitites.

Close to 'Walk of Fame' and Metro. Quiet location.

We enjoyed our stay. The location was great, and the place had a lot of character and funky-fun vibes. We loved it! It was an older place that wasn’t perfect, but it was perfect for us. Zero complaints besides not having designated parking! We recommend and will try to stay here again next time we’re in LA

Location was very central to all famous sites. All appliances were state of the art. Residence was very decorative with great paintings however found the furniture in living room was too low to the ground and hard to get up as we were all seniors. Also, bed in second bedroom was too low to the ground. Overall, everything was great.

Spacious property close to Hollywood sights. Host Kevin was easy to deal with and quick to respond to questions. The only thing we missed was some outdoor space otherwise we had all we needed. We did not have a car but Uber was readily available in this area.

Comfortable and pleasant, nicely decorated and roomy home. We enjoyed the fun and pretty neighborhood, very convenient to Hollywood attractions. Excellent and easy communication with host.

This area and apt are the ideal place to stay in Hollywood. Owner was SUPER SWEET. Apartment is well taken care of and the beds are very comfortable. Lovely host, lovely rooms. We spent a lot of time in the dining/living room playing games and watching shows. Easy off and on the freeway to anywhere in LA and easy walking distance to restaurants, entertainment and the beautiful Roosevelt Hotel. Had there been a show at the Hollywood Bowl it would have been an ideal location. Would book again!

Me and my family stayed there for a couple nights and had a great experience. We loved the vintage Hollywood feel. The location in the hills was awesome for views and far enough away from the city feel while keeping drives manageable. Highly recommend

i enjoyed everything about this home! from the spectacular location to the friendly, welcoming and super helpful homeowner who greeted me upon arrival and helped me along the way! the home was exactly as pictured and i couldn’t get over its unique and stunning qualities.. very charming and cozy spot that kept me warm at night with the space heaters… artwork on the wall is beautiful (Amy Winehouse photo was my fav) the area is absolutely stunning, i told the homeowner i wished that i lived there! i was sad to leave.. many thanks for an unforgettable trip, i would love to stay here again in the future!!!

My family and I had a wonderful time here in this very cool rental located in the Hollywood Hills within walking distance to Hollywood Blvd. It’s a very special property that is well equipped and has all the Hollywood vibes you could ask for.

This is a must stay VRBO if you plan on attending an event at the Hollywood Bowl as it is only a 10 minute walk from here to the front gates. Also walking distance to Hollywood Blvd. It is located in a very quite neighborhood and the suite is massive, lots of room to relax after a long day of pounding pavement.

Spacious, artsy, and quirky, this place had plenty of space for my family. Nice neighborhood that we felt safe walking through from here down to Hollywood boulevard. Beds were comfy and the place had everything we needed.

A great place to stay in the Hollywood hills within walking distance to the Bowl. We enjoyed our stay very much. Artfully decorated throughout. Do mind the entry stairs and steep hills which I found challenging as an older person with knee problems. I am VERY grateful for Kevin's responsiveness and assistance with parking tips during check-in. (I needed his help with the entry lock, which he patiently explained upon arrival.) Be mindful of local traffic while unloading your car as the road is narrow. We arrived on a Friday afternoon. Luckily a spot opened up across the street from the property where we left the car for the weekend (get the parking pass) and walked where we needed to go. Well-appointed kitchen, new washer & dryer also much appreciated. Had a lovely time.

Our stay here was great! The location was great if you are looking to be close to the streets of Hollywood without being directly in the middle of it. It’s a clean and safe neighborhood. Parking can be trickier if you are out past 7pm, but we were still able to park by the house each day. Kevin is awesome!! He is so nice, responds very fast, and is always readily available to help with any needs! Would recommend to anyone!

What a lovely, eclectic, funky place! Exactly as described. Kevin was super helpful answering all my questions. The house is central to everything and the Hollywood Hills is such a cool area. Only thing is that super weird toilet and shower placement. Could be difficult for handicapped folks. Everything else was perfect! I’d definitely stay here again.

Everything was fine and accurate to what I saw online. However going up and down the stairs was a bit too much. I saw that that was common with most of the houses there. So for those who don’t have knee problems go for it! The host was excellent, and tended to our needs with no hesitation.

It’s is a very nice neighborhood in the Hollywood Hills. The place had a couple issues. Parking is a challenge, especially at nighttime. The keypad lock on the door was broken and the washer/dryer did not work. The host was very accommodating and fixed the issues that we had promptly. Thanks Kevin!

If you like to look for space parking 2 blocks away from the property this is your place. lots of broken furniture, it feel unsafe last night not even stay there. Good luck if you choose this place.

From check in to check out everything was awesome. It was clean, exactly as pictured and close to everything. Kevin, the property owner, was quick to respond to everything and he was so kind and helpful. It is such a cool place. So unique and just a great vibe. We had no issues parking and we always felt completely safe. Great neighborhood. Would stay there again any time I am in the area. My entire family loved it. If you get a chance to rent it, do it! The Hollywood Hills apartment has everything you need. It is the perfect location to do everything you want. We walked to the touristy Hollywood area, took a 25 minute drive to Santa Monica Beach and rode bikes, saw the amazing sunset in Malibu, and of course cruised the crazy windy Hollywood Hills.

Very clean, close by tons of attractions.

AFter making payments since January (on time), for our extended stay on Memorial Weekend, we were booted out of the big house(208878) one hour before our arrival because Kevin gave the rental to someone else.... because he "double booked" and because "they" travelled farther. Kevin "paid" for us to have a parking spot at the end of the street. But we only got to park there once (someone else parked there and never left), so we were offered a parking garage down the street around the corner. It worked, but what a hassle. This apartment is substandard at best. Needs a thorough professional cleaning (why I paid for cleaning I really have no idea) from top to bottom, except for the kitchen,... which was in good condition and clean for the "most" part.(vents above stove, the view of behind the fridge from the makeshift bedroom, non-working garbage disposal) The furniture was outdated, worn, and dirty. (Could of been some nice retro-style if, again,.. they were CLEAN and the bottoms wernt coming out of the chairs) clothes that wernt ours under the bed, no TV in living room. BUT,... the bathroom. I wouldnt recommend ANYONE using it. Shower was gross and had rust stains. shower curtain had mold on the bottom. There was something wrong with the ceiling above the toilet,... it was a huge bubble in the ceiling as if it was gonna burst any minute. There was no way someone could be in there with that looming over your head. And after all is said and done... i wouldnt of even left this review, but Kevin never responded to any of my emails regarding this once I left his apartment. I felt pushed aside and that is not a way I expect to be treated as a paying guest. Everything above is true, I have pictures, and I encouraged the owners to contact me but never did to this date.
