The Feathered Nest was absolutely perfect for our weekend getaway to hike and visit wineries. The location was quiet and beautiful, exactly what we hoped for. Sharon did not miss anything in preparing the house to meet every need. It was truly a pleasure and we highly recommend.

This is such a beautiful house situated in the Newberg Winery area. It is secluded from traffic and it was such a wonderful place to stay for our 1st visit to Oregon. So close to many of the great wineries - but we always loved coming back to this house. The wrap around porch was the best! Sharon is a great host - her dinners were delicious - and she is there if you need her, but not intrusive. If we go back to Oregon - we will definitely stay here!

Booked a long weekend here with my childhood bffs, and we have never been SO well taken care of! Sharon made sure we felt cared for and pampered! She cooked us an amazing dinner the first night that we ate almost all weekend...gave us excellent travel advice and really made sure we were comfortable. The house is filled with interesting trinkets and little details like I've never seen in a vrbo. There is a wraparound porch with chairs and quilts that SCREAMS "hang out here!", which we did all weekend. There's a very cool garden room that is a 'secret bedroom'. The master upstairs is so comfy, and the HUGE bathroom was a fiesta for 6 women! lol Everything about the house was perfect. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and we would likely never leave. Thanks Sharon for being the amazing woman/host that you are!

From the moment we arrived at the Feathered Nest we were surrounded by the beauty of the location and property. There is a wide veranda surrounding this lovely & spacious home where you can sit & relax in comfy chairs or a cushioned porch swing with coffee in the morning or a nice glass of wine in the evening! This beautiful & spacious home is so comfortable & well appointed it has everything anyone could possibly need! The great kitchen has everything from modern appliances, to spices, condiments and cookware. There is lovely dishwater, & every type of glassware you can think of! The furniture and decor throughout the home are beautiful & extremely comfortable. The bedrooms are lovely, not only large but cozy as well! The en-suite bathrooms are terrific & contain all the amenities & more that you’d not even expect. The owner is extremely welcoming & gracious and made our stay one to remember!

This was an awesome spot we rented for our wedding weekend. Sharon was great and let us view the house prior to booking to make sure it would be the right fit for our rehearsal dinner and for my bridal party and I to get ready the morning of. The house is beautiful and lots of room.

Our stay was perfect!! The house was just as nice as the pictures. We came out west from New Hampshire to marry our daughter off! The house was out in the country just like back home. The cleanliness was amazing! The rooms were perfect! We had six people total. The wrap around porch was great for morning coffee and evening drinks! The host sharon was available anytime if we needed anything but everything was already there. We will definitely stay there again when we come back! Thank you Sharon! 😊

The place was immaculate. Centrally located to all the local vineyards. Sharon (host) was incredible, and went over and above all expectations. We had her prepare a dinner for us the night we got in. Food was amazing! All of her winery recommendations were outstanding.

A wonderful place for our family to spend time together. From the covered wrap-around porch complete with porch-swing to the much loved "horse-swing" nestled among the trees on the roomy property, to the lovely furnished house itself, our 3 generations felt very pampered. The house was well stocked with everything! Sharon's attention to detail that included neat touches and surprises in every corner, made for a wonderful stay. Wow! What a place Sharon has. Absolutely beautiful inside and out. Friends that visited us didn’t want to leave its warm and friendly feeling. Beds were comfortable, kitchen stocked, quiet mornings, it doesn’t get better than this. We visited for a wedding and are trying to figure out a reason to return just to stay at Sharon’s place. Fabulous!

Our stay at the Feathered Nest was amazing!! The house was very very clean and comfortable. Upon our arrival we received a basket with wonderful snacks and wine, which was so kind. Sharon has literally thought of everything and my group kept mentioning how the house was stocked with everything we could ever need. I would highly recommend staying here!!

Sharon, the owner, was delightful and available for anything we needed. The house has everything you need. Comfortable beds, nice linens, great space for relaxing after a day of wine tasting. Bathrooms are comfortable and the big tub upstairs is amazing. Kitchen has everything you need. The wrap around porch was delightful in the morning and at sunset. One of the best Vrbos I’ve ever stayed at. The bonus was the amazing dinner Sharon made for us. She’s a chef and we hired her to make a birthday dinner for our party of 5. It was absolutely fabulous. Top notch. Would definitely stay here again!!!

Everything you need for a comfortable, relaxing visit to wine region. Wonderful privacy in a country setting with close access to all your daily needs. The small town of Newberg is close by and provides access to wine tasting, art galleries and antiques. Our host Sharon provided many delightful yet unexpected extras and kind accommodating instructions. Sharon provides food for the local birds including hummingbirds that visited the "L-shaped" porch daily. We were sorry our trip had to end, but we now know of a delightful destination to which we hope to return. Thanks Sharon!

This house was Spectacular!!! So comfortable, clean, roomie and just a completely unreal place. Sharon, our host, is off the charts fantastic! This was the ideal home for a wine tasting weekend with friends. Sharon was extremely accommodating including recommending wineries to visit while we stayed, and the meal she made for us was phenomenal. Definitely save this property for your next visit to the Willamette Valley.

Location was wonderful, property is beautiful, house is emasculate, cupboards were more than stocked with everything we could ask for, and so organized. Our host and owner of the property were very accommodating. We would definitely stay at this lovey location again.

Just a perfect stay at Feathered Nest for a girls long weekend trip. Communication was clear and timely. The property is beautiful, stately but natural. The wraparound porch is a perfect spot to relax and enjoy company, a cup of coffee or glass of wine. The house itself is large, but so cozy. The 4 of us had plenty of space. It was incredibly well- appointed - we wanted for nothing. We all felt so welcomed and comfortable. It was the perfect spot to visit the surrounding wine country as well.

Beautiful stay in the Oregon Wine country. Perfect home for our Family of 6 adults and an infant Grand-daughter. Countryside feel with plenty of room for relaxing and visiting. Property overlooks a couple of vineyards and is such a pretty location. The owners hospitality was incredible and all communications were clear and timely. Thank you for a great long weekend. Would love to come back and spend more time to explore the region.

The Feathered Nest is an exceptionally well furnished and kept property. It was scrupulously clean and very thoughtfully appointed with plenty of towels, extra bedding, paper supplies, breakfast foods and every type of thing you might need in a pinch. We were two couples and one singleton and found it perfectly comfortable and spacious. And it’s conveniently located! We loved bird watching while having coffee in the mornings! The property manager texted us with check in instructions and was available for questions or problems, but we never had any. We would love to stay here again!

Our group of 8 friends stayed the weekend at the Feathered Nest and we cannot recommend it enough. We congregated on the wraparound porch in the mornings to drink tea and watch the hummingbirds as well as soak in the sun and incredible view of vineyards on the hillside. The rooms were clean and slept us all comfortably. The kitchen was gorgeous and easy to navigate even with 8 people. The hosts Sharon and Cassandre were so friendly and helpful both before and during our stay. We look forward to returning!

We stayed here for 3 days and didn’t want to leave.. house is so adorable and just loved the decor. It’s close enough to town and wineries but feels secluded and quiet- best of both worlds! House is stocked with everything we needed and loved the welcome gift of wine and specialty popcorn. We all enjoyed relaxing on the wrap around porch and even saw a deer on property while enjoying my morning coffee. Will be back!!

Three of us moms enjoyed a very relaxing weekend at the farm house in Newberg. It was close to the little town of Newberg and close to wineries. Just a 2 minutes away from the awesome Allison Inn and Spa! I recommend this spot for families and small groups of friends.

We enjoyed our stay at the immaculate Feathered Nest. The location was near town but still felt more rural snd typically wine country. We loved all of the extra touches. It was a real find.

We enjoyed our experience at the Feathered Nest immensely, from initial contact through the moment that we reluctantly drove through the gate the last time. The home is absolutely lovely and more than convenient. Surrounded by lush grass, flowers, and budding trees in early April, the hummingbirds danced over us on the porch all day. The sun warmed us in the backyard in the morning and on the front porch in the afternoon and we delighted in the spacious, yet cozy and well decorated home. It was a nearly perfect experience for us ad we could not be more thankful for the excellent management and service we received. Unforgettable!

This is our third time staying at this property and it is always a great experience! The house is large enough to hold our group and we love that it is quiet yet close to all the conveniences of town. We are always greeted with a nice basket of goodies and this time we decided to have Sharon cook a meal for our first night. This was a great option so we didn't have to make a reservation after traveling all day and the food was tasty! Communication was always prompt and friendly. We will definitely keep this as our top choice when staying in the area!
