Rachel's warm welcome and ongoing communication and hospitality made our (rainy) graduation weekend perfect. The house is in a perfect location with a beautiful outdoor space.

We had a wonderful stay at Rachel's house. She was very responsive to questions and so accommodating. She offered to pick up groceries for us to stock the refrigerator. We even had cupcakes waiting for us as we were celebrating a graduation. It was a lovely visit and the beds were so comfortable. The house had every amenity you could imagine. We will stay at this location again. Thank you!

Victorian Secrets was a wonderful place to stay, and it worked very well for our group. So much thought and care has gone into making this beautiful Victorian house a whimsical fun place to be. The host was so gracious and thoughtful. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Rented this wonderful house for my three children and their spouses to attend my nieces wedding at Water Oasis. This was the perfect refuge as well as a really fun gathering place for my crew and relatives that were visting the area for the same occasion. Nice outdoor living room with a bbq area and putting green for entertainment. HIGHLY recommended and the host was extremely responsive and helpful.

This was by far the best vacation experience I have ever had with VRBO. Rachel is an amazing host. She provided so many unexpected extras that made this a very special trip. Rachel provided information to make our stay as comfortable and relaxing as can be. I have already told family and friends about Victorian Secrets and highly recommended they stay there. Hope I will have the opportunity to go again.

We were in town for our daighters wedding. It was a great place to unwind between errands and getting ready for the big day. It was also close enough to restaurants that we could walk to them. It was only a few blocks from where the rest of the family was staying so we could leave the cars.

This is the perfect location; minutes to great golf, walking distance to wine tasting, shopping and really great restaurants. Quiet but close to so many attractions. The house has everything you need, very clean, great beds, fun outdoor and indoor spaces; whimsical touches everywhere. The owners have thought of everything and checked in with us! We wish we could have stayed longer!

From booking all the way through departure the communication and flexibility of the host was amazing. Check-in was a breeze and were constantly surprised and appreciated all the personal touches and character of the house. Outdoor area was especially stunning and hanging outside was relaxing. Located close to downtown Newberg and in the heart of wine country we couldn't ask for a better location. Highly recommend staying here and are already planning another trip to Oregon based solely on the lodging of this beautiful house.

Don’t think twice about renting this house!! It was perfect for 4 adults to have as our base for our adventures in Willamette Valley! This owner has the best VRBO we have ever stayed in. It’s truly a labor of love. Had everything we needed! Not to mention the “extra’s” left for our arrival; water bottles with names on them, bottle of wine & homemade jelly. The grounds are beautiful, totally enjoyed the patio with swings and who doesn’t like to play putt putt?! With the ease of communication from start to finish, can’t recommend this place enough!

This property is enchanting, entertaining in itself..filled with surprises which kept us smiling! The antiques, artwork, accommodations greatly exceeded our expectations. Rachel has thought of everything and her attention to detail is phenomenal! She definitely personalized things specifically for us and our special occasion! We were in the area for an important family wedding with a large family staying in several VRBO locations, but everyone wanted to spend time with us, as it is a perfect gathering place with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and in every direction, we discovered something fun to look at...flowers, artwork, beautiful landscaping, the putting greens...and between Rachel and her helper, Patrick, every question we had was responded to and answered immediately! This is a property that everyone should see..but it does raise the bar on VRBO stays!

Lovely, lovely home. the beds were divine, we all slept like kittens. The victorian home was refurbished and I can only imagine the hours spent just on the renovation. The owner decorated the home so beautifully and FUN! Every day there was something new about the decor that we noticed that was so special and beautiful. We celebrated a birthday with family and the home made our stay in Newberg extra special. Thank you and I highly recommend this home

Amazing, amazing, amazing!! This property is everything described in the description. We went to Oregon for a wedding and a birthday and the place could not have been more perfect. It is plenty big and beautiful. We enjoyed all the extras such as forgotten toiletries and little snacks, that the host left. She was very accommodating and willing to give advice and recommendations of the surrounding area. You can walk to any business downtown Newberg. We loved the putting green and the different areas to sit and enjoy the day. We had eight people and we were all very comfortable. If you are in the Newberg area I highly recommend this property. Thank you for a wonderful memory.

Rachel and Michael's home was a great place to stay for our annual weekend in wine country. Our friend group had a lovely stay in this eccentric and fun house. We wished we could have stayed longer than just the weekend!

From start to finish, our stay was the best! Before we even arrived the host sent dinner recommendations, weather updates and even picked up a grocery order and had it all put away so we had a stocked kitchen upon arrival. Once we arrived the host had an amazing welcome display complete with an adorable welcome sign, bottle of wine and birthday cake and candles! The house was perfect for 4 couples - we all had our own room with a queen size bed. I’ve never stayed in a house with SO many little comforts for the guests such as phone chargers in all the rooms, full stocked bathrooms and kitchen, an ice machine and more! The inside of the house was SO beautiful but we spent most of our time outside and enjoyed the putting green and relaxing on the adorable covered patio. Something else I appreciated was how easy it was to communicate with the host - Rachel was just a quick text away and always responded so quick! Finally, the location is perfect! We walked to lunch, dinner, boutiques and breakfast the next day! 10/10 recommend!

We were a group of 6 ladies coming from all over the country for a wine trip. This house is perfect. The hosts are truly the best I have ever experienced. They have thought of every single detail. The location is a block from downtown with great restaurants, clothing boutiques, and wine tasting rooms. It was a short drive to the grocery store and convenient for planning 3 days of wine tastings with our driver. I could not recommend this house enough. The owners were very responsive, proactive, and just nice people.

We rented this house for a fun wine tasting weekend with friends. The how was great (very eclectic for sure), location was perfect (walking distance to great restaurants) and the outdoor area was amazing place to hang out after a busy day. They even had waters with our names in them (thoughtful little touches like that throughout the house). Looking to renting it again in the summer!

The host reached out to us the moment we booked it to find out if there was anything that they could do to make our stay more comfortable. Their positive energy and willingness to help us was even more evident the moment we walked in and saw all the personalized notes welcoming us from the treats in the fridge to the bottle of wine! The darling Victorian home was filled with beautifully appointed decorations everywhere we turned but we also felt so comfortable there and actually spent more time there hanging out because of its ‘hominess’. We all said we’d come back again just because of this place. Just a short walk to the charming downtown- we all highly recommend this place.

This property is as described and then some! Rachel has every detail covered, even a junk drawer with those things you didn't think you'd need but find yourself wishing you had, like a Sharpee pen! Beds were super comfortable and there was even a universal phone charger on the nightstands! The hairdryer had accessories--a diffuser! Kitchen had everything we needed and the outdoor area was relaxing at the end of the day. Rachel was quick to respond to questions about the area and provide suggestions and tips. We can't say enough about how great this rental is! Oh, she even left us birthday surprises as we were celebrating a friend's birthday. Thanks Rachel!

We’ve stayed at over a dozen vacation rentals and this one takes the cake! The attention to detail from the Sherwood’s is noticeable long before you arrive there. Rachel provides tips and recommendations that are excellent and speedy. They truly care about- and are proactive to be sure you have the best experience. The unit itself is even better than the pictures and descriptions! The care that is poured into making sure guests are taken care of is equally poured into making sure the home is truly a perfect home base for your stay. The patio was just lovely to start and end the day. The beds comfy, amenities ample, everything clean and in great working order. The character throughout just makes staying there a treat for the curiosity! Location is fantastic - so close to so many spots- we loved Rosmarino, Painted Lady, and Coffee Cottage! Shopping, antiques, and art galleries nearby so great! We used Black Tie Tours to take us to wineries for a day and Sammy was absolutely wonderful (as was the wine!). Other cities for outings were incredibly close and easy to get to. We met so many friendly people throughout our stay and we raved about Victorian Secrets to anyone who would listen! Highly recommend and would love to return- and stay here! They’ve thought of everything and made it so easy for us!

Great weekend staying at this property. House was extremely clean, hostess padded the house with fun details and extras, outdoor lounging space was amazing, and location was great for walking to restaurants, bars, coffee and shopping. Will stay here again.

Excellent property. Very welcoming with everything you might need. Extra surprise from host for one of my friends who was celebrating a birthday. Host went above and beyond. Easy walk to restaurants, tasting rooms, etc. We are already planning a return trip.

The outside patio and chairs was our hang out spot for the week. Loved that area. We had 4 adults in our party and this house worked out just right. The property owners were great and very helpful with some small issues during our stay. The local information they provide was exceptional.

Our group had a fantastic time in Newberg. From the get go, Rachel spoiled us with wine, cheese and crackers to start our cycling and wine tasting getaway. Rachel has thought of everything. The house is well-stocked, the decor eclectic and entertaining. The location makes for an easy stroll to restaurants and shops in downtown Newberg. Rachel is an exceptional host and her communication skills are superb. We are so grateful to have had such a lovely stay.

The house and decor was fantastic. I hosted a friend from Ireland and Australia - every night without planning we ended up outside in the amazing garden recant our amazing day. The house and host was absolutely amazing. I would stay again without question. You’ll love this house. ❤️
