Mary is amazing and very helpful. We had a greater time. Propery had everything we needed and spacious. We will definitely be back.

We were 3 friends staying here and it was perfect for our group. The outdoor space and fire pit was lovely and we spent most of our time out there. The owner also fully equips this place - anything you can imagine is there - coffee grinder, Bluetooth speaker, extra blankets, etc. Both beds are super comfy and there are three couches total - 2 with pullouts- so plenty of spots to hang out. Also, lots of parking at the house. The only (somewhat) odd thing is that both bedroom suites are side by side and you have to walk through one to get to the other. The one at the far end has a separate door to the outside, so you could leave and reenter at the other end of the house if you need to get to the kitchen without disturbing the middle room. This wasn’t an issue for us because we were friends, but if you’re traveling as two couples and want separate spaces, it might be awkward. We loved it here and definitely want to book again!

Our family had a great time at this location. It has everything you could need for the beach. The property manager was very responsive to any question or concern we had. Everything was great and we would love to return!

Amazing Host, so friendly and accomadting!

We were struggling to find a beach house that would allow us to celebrate our daughter’s birthday but right before giving up I found Mary and her home, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Her home had everything we could possibly need and the location was so good, just a super short walk to the beach. She had a little birthday setup for us when we arrived and my daughter loved it! Mary went above and beyond what I would expect of a host, her kindness and helpfulness were truly my favorite part of our trip. 😊

Over the last 6 years we’ve stayed in all the rentals on this little street, and this is one of our top two! We miss being right on the strand, but the attention to detail regarding amenities can’t be beat. Thank you for providing living room space and kitchen supplies that corresponds to sleeping beds (surprisingly difficult to find in rentals). And thank you for not partnering with vacasa! We will definitely rent with you again!!

This is our second time here and we still love it. Location is everything and this beach house is no exception. Practically on the beach without all the noise, The owner, Mary, is wonderfully helpful.

The location was great..walk down to beach yet feel privacy in quiet small street. The upstairs patio area is fantastic and we spend lots of time there. Parking is ideal and easy. Beach house is well equipped. The layout is great. The host is very attentive. We would definitely stay again and recommend the Beach House for other families.

Got there Friday and left on Monday. House was great. Beautiful ocean views and hearing waves all the time. Easy walk to beach. House was great plenty of sleeping room for my family (there were 6 of us all adults). Kitchen has everything and more to prepare meals. Owner bent over backwards to make sure that we enjoyed our trip. Will be back.

The location was really good since it was right next to the beach. The owner was always on call if we needed anything asap. The kitchen was filled up with everything; no need to bring any kitchen utensils. As well as the beach supplies. We enjoyed our stay here at this place.

Wow, don't hesitate to rent this lovely beach house! The location couldn't have been better, you are so close to the beach and walking distance to pretty much everything desired on a vacation in Oceanside. Just a short walk down a little street and turn right onto the Strand, great beach for all ages right there. We could set up our beach gear and walk back to the house easily for breaks. Lots of families enjoying the sand and surf, volleyball nets, picnic tables etc. My kids enjoyed the bikes, we absolutely loved the rooftop patio and could see the ocean perfectly! We enjoyed watching surfers, dolphins, and sailboats on the horizon. The house had plenty of room for my family of 5, in fact we made use of the pull out couches so each kid had their own bed. Very comfortable! Mary was the best host you could ask for, the house has everything you need and more. My husband and I walked to the Harbor every morning for coffee at the Nautical Bean and we enjoyed dining over there too. Even saw some sea lions on Sea Lion Island and rower teams competing. Watching the surfers between the jetties was a treat too. Plenty of beach gear, my kids used the boogie boards all day long. Chairs, umbrellas, towels, toys, speakers, etc. Easy walk to the Pier and shops/restaurants nearby, we didn't even use our rental car except for one Walmart run. Only thing I would change is the cloudy weather we had, but no fault of the owner -- luckily we did get a beautiful sunset the last night!

The house is in a great location and perfect for small gatherings, the host is incredibly accommodating and reasonable. We will definitely stay here again!

Fem the beginning, Mary May was super helpful. Gave info on things to do, places to eat. Had some decorations up when we got there for my husband’s bday. House was what was described. Enough space for us and our two kids. They enjoyed having the upstairs area to themselves. Outdoor deck was fantastic!The views were beautiful and we spent a lot of time up there eating and relaxing when not at the beach. I would suggest stringing outside lights around the rails for more of a festive look but that’s it. The adult bikes are a bit used and not very comfortable so you may want to consider bringing yours or just renting from down the strand. Tons of options to eat and you can walk all over. The farmers market and sunset market were great! We loved being able to come and go from the house to the beach. Would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely perfect location, beautiful view, ideal situation for our two families of 4! This house is located within a 1 minute walk to the most beautiful and well-kept beach and only a 15 minute, beach-front walk to a plethora of shops and restaurants. The house is loaded with amenities to make our stay incredibly relaxed and thoroughly enjoyable! We lived on the upstairs patio to enjoy sun with a view or a fire at night. Mary has thought of everything to make this home feel like the ultimate beach house from the well-appointed kitchen to an amazing collection of beach time fun items! Her attentiveness was above and beyond. Thanks, Mary, for sharing this piece of paradise where an amazing vacation was had by our family!

We had a great time at the Beach House! Lots of space for our family of 8! It was such a short walk to the beach too! What we really enjoyed was the roof top deck area with the firepit, lots of seating and an amazing view! It was walking distance to restaurants and the pier. The Beach House had everything we needed for a beach getaway! We will definitely come back!

This property had everything you need for a beach vacation. From the location, to the views. There were games, books, bikes, beach entertainment, chairs, and much much more! The kitchen was well stocked too. Our favorite was the upstairs deck space. We played games during the day and enjoyed the fire pit at night. Mary was great as week. She was very accommodating, responsive and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Great location for walking!

This is a, dare I say, perfect location and I highly recommend anyone looking for a perfect vacation getaway in Oceanside to book this place! On the property location: It’s exactly as described. My friends and I gladly took every opportunity to walk out on the beach. It was that close. Plus the walk to the main restaurant areas is so convenient. On the property: Everything was neat and clean. We had plenty of everything including blankets and towels. We barbecued and snacked all weekend and were grateful for the fully stocked kitchen. We used the pull out couches on the second floor to have a slumber party/game night. There was so much overall space for the 5 of us. The deck was our favorite spot with the view of the beach and the grill at the ready. On the host: Mary sets a very very high bar as a host. I really felt like a friend was renting me their beach house for the weekend. She had the house decorated for my birthday, made sure I understood all the parking possibilities for my party, knew about dining options, the list goes on. Whenever I had questions, Mary responded within seconds. I couldn’t ask for a better experience. Thanks for everything Mary!! I’m grateful we found this listing and hope to return soon!

This house is literally steps from the beach! Awesome view from upstairs balcony, as well. Owner was very responsive and explained everything in detail prior to our arrival. We enjoyed our stay!

This property is excellent! Location is just as promised, and as it looks in the pictures. We enjoyed being able to walk the beach, and walk both to the harbor area as well as downtown. Very relaxing spot, watching the surfing and sunsets. And a relaxed feel to the community as well. Our only disappointment was the unusually rainy weather, (although our California relatives loved it). You do have to walk through one bedroom to get to the main part of the house from the other bedroom, but this was not a problem for us, just unexpected. Neighborhood was quiet and great for looking at the night sky from the deck.

We had a very special Christmas at this beautiful beach house with the rooftop patio being the highlight of our time together!

We had the kids and grandkids all together for a great stay at the beach. The beach house was nice, clean and exactly as described and shown in the pics. The property manager, was very communicative and very reachable. As others mentioned, it's nice to be a tiny bit off the strand to avoid all the bike, car and foot traffic. All in all a great place to stay!

We loved our stay at the beach house! It’s tucked back at the end of dead end street which made it very quiet and private, but easy access to beach just around the corner. The house is roomy and very well equipped with what you need to stay. We filled it to capacity, and even had extended family for dinner most nights, and it didn’t feel cramped. The rooftop deck is wonderful! You get the ocean view and breeze, but it’s quietly removed from the craziness of the strand. It was my regular morning spot. Some other benefits were the AC in the master, the three bathrooms, the open kitchen, chairs/seating in abundance, all the beach equipment, and my kids loved having the bikes. The lot for parking was perfect for our local friends who came in everyday to spend time with us. My kids also used it to play in a couple mornings. Mary was so great to work with and she answered questions very quickly. We really loved it and hope to be back again next year!
