Guest sat on a bed and it collapsed. Clearly it was inferior quality and faulty and appeared to have been repaired previously. Reported to owner immediately. when I got home, owner added $240 charge to repair with no communicatoion. Ridiculous! Add to this the aggressive and unfriendly language in welcome letter and it is clear that you have a property owner only concerned with their benefit and taking advantage of people

Both my children were graduating from graduate school and our family gathered from MA, FL, VA, CA, NC, AZ. Such a lovely place for our family dinners!

What a great house! We enjoyed everything about our stay --- the front porch for happy hour, the dining room and kitchen for casual dinners together, the fireplace on the rainy day we stayed in, the lovely neighborhood walks, the comfortable bedrooms, the little kitchen sitting nook where we enjoyed our morning coffee together. It was the perfect house for five long-time girlfriends to spend the week together. Excellent!

This home was beautiful and lovely. The location was perfect for our adventures in Portland. Bruce was quick to respond to questions. I would recommend this home for a get away with family or friends.

The property is a beautiful, comfortable house that will make you feel right at home in Portland. The owner has thought of your every need and the house is in a lovely neighborhood with great restaurants and groceries within walking distance. Our family of four adults loved our stay!

I rented this home for my bridal party and I to prepare for my upcoming wedding. The home itself was GORGEOUS and definitely fit everyone comfortably. The closeness to the 84 highway and walkable neighborhood was a huge plus! Everything was well equipped and organized with lots of hang out and sleeping space. Great location, gorgeous home, very well kept, and great communication by owner. Love the front porch, cozy fireplace and backyard. I do wish each of the 4 rooms had a big bed, as it required one of us to sleep in a twin bed while the others had queens or a king. One confusing item on charges, but that’s my fault for not following up. I’d recommend to anyone.

Terrific stay, lovely home, great location!

There is a lot to say, so I’ll start with the positive: 1. Owner was very responsive 2. King bed was very comfortable 3. The house is roomy and in a great location 4. Kitchen is adequately equipped for a short stay (only) 5. Nice front porch w/good seating Places where this rental fell short: 1. House (especially downstairs) is quite dark 2. Kitchen is not equipped for a long stay (we were there 3 mos.) 3. Hot pads in kitchen were old & nasty, disgusting 4. Coffee pot and countertops were not clean (fyi, the pot is also not thermal) 5. Dishwasher cleans but does not dry dishes 6. Refrigerator had stuff left by previous visitors and was not especially clean 7. Many spices & things left behind were old 8. Couldn’t get wine cooler to work, but also didn’t ask for help 9. No “group” TV watching - only TVs are in master bedroom & tiny kitchen nook BUT THERE WERE 2 **BIG** CONCERNS: 1. Make sure to document in the VRBO system everything that you agree to in terms of what you are being charged and are paying. We were 6 weeks into our 3 month stay and the owner came back on us and said he had miscalculated and wanted a considerable amount more money….even though it was documented in the messaging system exactly what we had all agreed to - and that we had long since already paid. 2. Owner asked us to adjust the thermostat in the house ***in order to accommodate renters in the basement.*** When our adjustment wasn’t satisfactory, evidently he must have come in in while we weren’t there because it was changed to a different temperature that was not comfortable to us, where we had it set. Had it not been for these last 2 things, this review might have been a little less harsh. As it is, this is a very honest recap of our stay.

Cute house, close to everything!

We had the opportunity to stay in this beautiful home while in town for a conference. Fully equipped including anything you might need. Beautiful detail inside and out. Comfortable and spacious. Lovely outdoor space as well and in a lovely neighborhood.

Our stay was amazing. The house is even cuter in person than it is in the photos. Bruce was very helpful and answered any questions we had right away. I would highly recommend this property!

The yard and front porch areas were great to hang out in and enjoy the cool weather and pretty flowers. The kitchen was a dream to cook in and the beds were comfortable.

This house has everything you could need and is in a great location. House was super clean with a spacious layout allowing for everyone to have their own space. We cooked Thanksgiving dinner there and kitchen had everything we needed- great appliances. Looking forward to staying there again.

Lovely home, has everything you need to make a wonderful meal and keep everyone happy with coffee in the morning, afternoon brunch or a gourmet dinner. Very accommodating for our stay, would stay again. The front porch is a perfect place to spend sun down time. Beds and baths accessorized and comfortable. Our stay was to attend our son's wedding. Perfect.

Bruce was the perfect virtual host. I seriously could not have asked for anything different. He reached out via email about a week with every detail I could possibly need and then followed up via text when he didn’t hear back from me. I really appreciated him going out of his way to ensure that our stay was perfect. We had one question for him about an item in the house and he immediately responded. There was every single amenity you could imagine on the premises which is so helpful when you just want some darn foil or ziploc bags! I know y’all know what I mean! I can’t imagine how anyone can be disappointed with this place or the owner. It’s impossible.

This was perfect for our visit with relatives. It is nicely furnished, with a well stocked kitchen, and plenty of room for playing board games or reading in a window seat. There are several outdoor seating areas, including a welcoming front porch. We took many walks through the neighborhood, going to nearby restaurants and coffee shops, and admiring all the gardens and trees. The owner is very helpful and responsive.

Your home was the perfect size to accommodate our family - two grown sons, daughter in law, and two grandsons. We were in Portland to celebrate my husbands moms 90th birthday. Great location - easy to walk to restaurants and easy access to freeway. Thank you.

Our group of seven was comfortable the entire stay. Great communication with the owner. The front porch was the perfect spot for us to relax and enjoy the Hollywood neighborhood.
