Great house! Great location-close to park, walking path and town:) We loved all the movies, bikes, beach things and huge backyard. House was very clean, had everything we needed to cook and all supplies needed for a one year old! Shannon was lovely to work with-highly recommend !

We really enjoyed our stay. The home has a wonderful layout and was clean and comfortable. Shannon was great with communication. We used the bikes a lot to get to the beach. I would highly recommend this home for a stay in South Haven.

We enjoyed the location with an easy 10-15” walk to beach or town, access to bike trail, and quiet surroundings. The surrounding neighborhood was run down but we didn’t have any safety problems. The space worked well.

This is a lovely home and the host was very helpful and accommodating with making our stay comfortable.

Very nice property with plenty of room inside and out. Instructions and information were posted around the house that were useful. Not exactly within walking distance of any of the beaches, but overall a very nice place.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The house was clean and the lot was nicely laid out. We would absolutely stay again.

This house really feels like a home! The house was clean and thoughtfully decorated. Except for food, Shannon provided everything we needed, including plenty of towels, kitchen tools, pots and pans, lake toys, bikes, and though we didn’t have a dog, noticed supplies for them. One car fits in the garage, so parking wasn’t an issue despite there being lots of construction when we stayed. My only complaint is that one of the beds had a stained sheet. Not a dealbreaker for me since I usually bring an extra set of bedding when staying anywhere. The beach and downtown area is a short drive away. I would stay here again and highly recommend!

Nice house, short drive to beach, convenient overall location

House is beautiful and had all essentials for cooking. Plenty of toys, games for everyone. Backyard was amazing! Played Bean bags every day and had fires every night! Shannon was very accommodating and available if we needed anything. Thanks for a great week, would stay here again absolutely.

Believe it! Believe every word in this description. This South Haven property was amazing! Everything you could ever need, and then, some was provided. The housekeeping staff did a great job making sure the house was clean and ready to go! Huge bonus... our dog LOVED the fenced in yard. The owners have done a wonderful job making sure that their guests have a fantastic stay! Needless to say, I highly recommend this property.

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely house. Very clean and well stocked! They have done a fantastic job providing all the essentials for your stay. They also provided everything for our Rylee (dog). Bowls, bed, blankets, and pooper scooper. I loved the large fenced yard with flowers. Location was a little farther out then I imagined but we rented a golf cart for the week and enjoyed our adventures to and from downtown. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful time at the house. It is large enough for our family to spread out in and worked well for our dog. Super clean and comfortable. The fenced in back yard was great for hanging out and having a little evening fire. They had all kinds of bicycles and beach toys and even a shop-vac for the sand in your vehicle. Kitchen is stocked and and usable. We booked last minute and they We’re very accommodating. Would highly recommend and we will be going back for a repeat trip.

We loved our stay at this property. It was extremely clean upon arrival and smelled great. It is very well stocked with kitchen items, games, and kids items. Great layout for traveling with kids.

Very clean. Good location. Only suggestion I would have would be to put a grab bar in the bathtub. With two knee replacements it is hard for me to lift my legs over the bathtub. It seemed slippery so had one of my girls help me in and out.

Great rental! We’ve stayed here twice, with plans to return for another visit. Very clean and updated, it feels like a home away from home. Spacious, fenced in yard. It’s about a 20 minute walk to the downtown shops and restaurants, but we enjoy the exercise and looking at all of the homes along the way.

This house is the best vacation rental we’ve ever stayed in! Everything was clean and organized. The owners have gone out of their way to provide information about the area. Would definitely stay here again!

HAVE to mention the cleanliness of this house. We have stayed at rentals where the pictures don’t reflect how clean a property is. This house was spotless and was everything as advertised. Would absolutely stay here again and have would recommend this property to anyone going to South Haven

We were in South Haven for my son’s wedding. Unfortunately, we did not get to spend much time at the property. Everything exceeded our expectations. The property was very clean and well appointed. We would love to come back again when we can relax and enjoy it all.

We had a wonderful time staying here. The home was nicely decorated and had everything we needed. Just a short walk (~10 min) to the beach & Kids Korner play structure, which was perfect for our family w/ 3 little kids. Quick 5 min drive to downtown or Meijer/Walmart (for groceries). The property includes a binder FULL of info about South Haven, including maps, suggestions on what to do, where to go, and menus from all the local restaurants! Was a really nice touch, and super helpful. The garage is FULL of stuff to use - we didn't use the bikes (there are a bunch!) but we did use the wagon for the kids, as well as the kiddie pool and sprinkler (kids had a great time in the back yard). Very comfortable stay overall. Easy check-in/out. Would definitely stay here again.

You can also walk to town. Its only .9 mi walk / 20 min. For us, we needed the large backyard for the dogs to play, so it was worth a couple extra blocks for a walk into town. You wouldn't be able to find a large property this size w/ a fence closer to Phoenix Street, or the beaches. Very happy with our stay!

Pet-friendly; we were able to bring our 50+ lb. fur baby with us, and he absolutely loved the fenced back yard. Lots of room to run, with a fire pit and hammock for us humans to enjoy. Beds were comfortable as was all the furniture. Kitchen was stocked with all the necessities (coffee, sugar, condiments). We especially enjoyed taking the bikes in the garage out for a spin. Everything for a young family to those with teens was included. The town of South Haven had just enough to do without being overwhelming. The beach was a quick 10 minute bike ride. The hosts provided a guide book of different activities in the area - you could find what matched your interests and budget. There was previous ratings about the neighborhood - we in no way felt this was low end, could maybe considered transitional, BUT we loved it. The neighbors were quiet and we had no issue going out walking at dusk/dark, did not feel unsafe in any way. My young adult children (19, 22) would frequently take bike rides or walks at dusk down to the beach to watch the sun set and never had an issue or stated they saw anything that caused them concern. Bottom line- we would definitely recommend this property and hosts. Having stayed in varying types of rentals from the US to Iceland to Germany/Europe, this rates up there especially with regard to cost/benefit. We hope to make another visit in coming years.
