Truly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful place. We slept so well, with windows open and cool temperatures at night. Waking up to total peace with only turkeys, squirrels, and bird sounds. Loved watching the deer on the property and having such privacy. Joshua was the perfect host and we had everything we could have ever needed. I highly recommend this beautiful place and hope to return myself in the very near future.

After one night it felt like our own home away from home.

The local Deers paid a visit every morning outside our window. Stars at night.

This rental was perfection. Joshua and Tim clearly take so much pride in their property, it was exactly the backdrop we needed for a wine country getaway. The rental itself is even better in person than the pictures portray. In addition, Joshua was so helpful offering up advice on wineries and restaurants whenever my wife or I solicited his help. Such an excellent host! If you're going on vacation in the Sonoma area and looking at this place, just stop searching and book it. You will not regret it at all.

The property grounds were absolutely gorgeous. With deer guests everyday eating the olive trees.
We had everything we needed. The house was very clean and nice. Glen Ellen is such a cute town with wineries and restaurants right down the road. We will be returning. Cheers!

Another wonderful stay in less than a year at this beautiful property. Quiet and secluded yet close to all things Sonoma has to offer. Best Ever
We have traveled to a lot of places in U.S. and abroad. This is flat out one of the nicest places we have ever been. It is like an old Italian villa with modern electronics. There is a long winding road to access the house which makes it a bit difficult to find the first time, but becomes quite easy with repetition. It makes a perfect getaway. The only unusual aspect was the bathroom was on the first floor, but overall we loved it. Wine and cheese greeted us when we arrived and coffee beans were there for the grinder. What could be better?

Cet endroit est simplement fabuleux. Une propriété magnifique située au bout d’une petite route tortueuse en pleine campagne. Tranquillité assurée. La qualité de la construction et le mobilier sont exceptionnelle. Nous avons été très bien accueillis. Joshua a répondu rapidement lorsqu’une question lui était posée. Pour cuisiner, il y a tout ce qu’il faut, l’équipement de cuisine est complet, moderne et les couteaux bien aiguisés! C’est parfait, il n’y a pas d’autres mots.

A must stay!! This was a perfect home for us to stay at during our anniversary. The cottage was clean, fully stocked and the the hosts were very hospitable. We highly recommend staying at this cottage. Our only regret… we should have stayed longer.

Sonoma Retreat
My wife and I had the privilege of staying at this wonderful property in Glen Ellen. The cottage is beautiful and perfect for a couple with all the comforts of home. The location is secluded and quiet yet just a short drive to restaurants and local area wineries. The best part were the super hospitable and attentive property owners. Easy to communicate with and genuinely concerned about the quality of our stay. We can't say enough about this great find and will be returning in the future...6 star rating!!!

We had a beautiful experience in Glen Ellen, staying at the guest villa. Joshua and Tim were truly outstanding hosts, besides maintaining a magnificent property in a tranquil setting. We will be visiting again!

We enjoyed our stay for 5 days for Bottle Rock. This trip was canceled several times because of Covid, Joshua and Tim were very accommodating with our ever changing dates. The property was clean and extremely quiet. It allowed us to unwind, relax and sleep.

Elegant, rural retreat from the wine tasting pressure! Joshua & Tim are the perfect gentlemen hosts.
Glen Ellen is a wonderful spot, not as crazy as Napa and with all necessary amenities. This Tuscan villa is so beautiful and the property is charming and remote. Don't let Wolf Run scare you, it's a drive you will look forward to as returning to the cottage is the best part of the day.

We enjoyed our stay for 5 days for Bottle Rock. This trip was canceled several times because of Covid, Joshua and Tim were very accommodating with our ever changing dates. The property was clean and extremely quiet. It allowed us to unwind, relax and sleep.

Quiet, secluded cottage for a perfect getaway
We *loved* our stay at this property! It was so quiet and peaceful, with wildlife sightings and the privacy we craved for our anniversary getaway, yet within easy driving distance to everything—wineries, restaurants, shops, etc.
The cottage itself was gorgeous, with everything we needed for our stay. It was clean, spacious, and the communication with the owners were fantastic. Joshua and Tim were so gracious and welcoming. We can't wait to visit again!

We had a lovely stay at this Utopian villa. You couldn't have a nicer host than Joshua or a more well-appointed place to call your temporary home. Plenty to do nearby and a nice drive over to Napa for a few tastings.

Josh and Tim were great! Beautiful house. Loved the location. It was quiet and away from crowds, but with most of Napa and Sonoma accessible within a 15 min to half hour drive, and the cute town of Glen Ellen with great restaurants just 5 mins away. We’ll be back!

Everything the host posted was 100% accurate and if anything the property exceeds the advertising. We especially enjoyed the quiet and seclusion. Nothing but natural beauty visible as far as the eye can see, tucked away in a small canyon.

Spacious. Quaint. Comfortable.
Josh and Tim’s guest house is amazing. Very spacious and well appointed with all the things that you need on vacation. It is quiet and close to all of the cool wineries and restaurants in Sonoma and Napa but far enough away to feel like you’ve gotten out of town. That is super comfortable. Internet works great. The town of Glen Ellen is super cute with great restaurants. Josh and Tim are super hosts. Lots of info and lovely people. Will definitely return and highly recommend.

We appreciate the attention to detail by Joshua and are happy to give this rental an excellent review. Property exceeded our expectations. Beautiful well maintained setting . Large living room with wood burning fireplace. Large comfortable bedroom . Joshua and Tim are perfect hosts . Checked in with us often to make certain everything was OK . Did a small amount of laundry for us so that we weren’t inconvenienced going to laundry mat. One evening when they went out offered the use of their gorgeous patio . The Weber charcoal grill was a big plus and finally we stayed one extra night because we loved the experience so much .
