My wife and I had a great week by the beach. The apartment has a beautiful balcony and the condo itself is just what you need for a week in the sun. The maritime-themed interior design is beautiful and practical, the kitchen has literally everything a foodies' heart desires.The owners go above and beyond to assure that everything is just right. We hit a low though 3 days in when we run out of the 'welcome chocolate chip cookies' - but we persevered ;-) and we will be back.

The condo was perfect for us. Extremely clean. Well stocked with everything we needed. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners and getting a history lesson of the area.

We enjoyed our stay here. We loved having the deck, eating on it when it was warm enough. Loved being close to the ocean, great beach to walk on. The cookies the host had for us were a great treat. Everything we needed was there, a very comfy place. The shared laundry was very clean. Just a great stay!

We stayed at the beautiful Compass Rose for two weeks and loved it. It was very clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The decor is just just lovely and the views are amazing! We also loved the convenient location and the fact that it is in a safe, gated resort community. Thank you so much, Tanya and Mark, We will be back!

This was a perfect birthday (or any) get-away in a penthouse right on the beach. The condo was immaculate and perfectly appointed with gorgeous beachfront views and great location at Sandcastles on Amelia Island Plantation. A dreamy stay.

We had a perfect stay at this condo. The owners obviously went over and above to provide what was needed and anticipated every possible want. Beautifully decorated. Everything we could have wanted. We would love to come back again next year.

The porch, we have to come back. The view, serine waves, waves were always calling. The sun was shining the way without blinding. The wind was helping us hear the way to the beach. Seagulls were showing us how to have fun on the shore with the waves. The rolling sea foam was always plying in the wind and seagull chiks, runnig away from the waves and into the foam.
It is the place to come back and experience knowing it will be a better one, even though we just had a blast.

I took my wife there for her birthday. We August 13th through the 19th. Tannya and Mark are amazing as there property. They went as far as getting my wife a cake and flowers and left her a birthday message in a bottle. The condo was amazing it is one of the best places in years. Everything was so clean. We had a little problem with internet and they was quick to respond and no time had it fixed. The only thing that was better than the condo was location. It was right on the ocean and it had a huge outside deck. If you are reading this dont think twice book it . Thanks for the special memories that your property made. With out of a doubt we will book this place again.

This quiet, top floor unit has an expanded balcony with a beautiful view of the beach just as the listing states and shows. It is inside the Omni resort gates, which makes it fun and easy to walk on the trails and dine at the restaurants. The unit was very clean and beautifully appointed with everything we needed for comfort during our stay. The sofa is particularly comfortable as it reclines. The patio has very comfortable lounge chairs as well. They have beach equipment such as great beach chairs and an umbrella to use. This unit provides a five star vacation, and I highly recommend booking for your vacation.

The condo was great and well represented. It was well stocked and very comfortable. It is not connected to Omni which is a VERY GOOD. Omni is next door and highly over priced.

Everything was warm and welcoming, especially the home baked cholate chip cookies! A very beautiful place to stay with everything we needed to enjoy a week at the beach. Nice beach with cool white sand and easily to go for a long walk. Almost like having a private beach. We loved it. Hope to return for a month stay.

This is our new favorite place to stay in Amelia Island. Gorgeous condo, well-appointed, has absolutely everything and just steps from the beach. Mark and Tannya are wonderful hosts. Loved every second here. We will be back!

If you are looking for a beautiful place on the ocean, to spend time with friends and family, look no further than Compass Rose. The condo is extremely clean, well stocked, comfortable and so warm and welcoming. The owners are outstanding, friendly and helpful. This is our third visit and we will certainly return to soon.

This stay exceeded expectations, from the awesome view on the huge deck to the luxurious condo, well worth the extra paid for our special 40th anniversary get-away. Tannya and Mark were wonderful hosts, answering any questions submitted via the VBRO app within minutes before and during our stay. This was by far the best beachfront condo we've stayed in over the last 10 years of driving trips since our retirement. And the little extra touches, such as chocolate chip cookies along with fresh cut flowers and a special anniversary congratulations note rolled up in a bottle, made the stay special. They went above and beyond - thanks for making our anniversary trip so wonderful!

This place is exactly as advertised and more. Super clean, updated, and the hosts have attended to every possible need or want at this property. Tanya is super friendly and easy to contact if needed but once you are here you will not need anything that Amelia Island and this unit can provide. The location is stunning. With the large deck you can take in the sunrises or with a few steps be on the beach which stretches for miles. Super clean property overall, very well maintained. Paths on the property can keep you busy for hours exploring this wonderful island. I have been up and down both sides of the Florida coast and have not and probably will not find a property as amazing as this one!

This top floor condo has a full ocean view, it’s clean and well furnished and the owners are very responsive. We thought it was ideal.
