We had a great time with two families with three kids. Downstairs with tons of space for kids. Hot tub was a highlight. Kitchen had everything to pull off an ambitious dinner. Beds were extremely comfortable. We were able to walk to the pebble beach Carmel gate for the pro am. It is quite a descent so walk up would be difficult for some and really hard with strollers.

Excellent and clean property in Carmel, CA! Close to downtown (Lyft/Uber highly recommended) and the beach. Susan was a wonderful host and left a (very much appreciated) personal note for us upon check-in. Despite lots of rain during our stay, the hot tub got lots of use as did the fire pit! Only wish is that there were more covered patio spaces and that Hwy 1 was a little farther away. But we would definitely stay again!

Great house ! Appointed with everything you could need or want! Location is awesome- a beautiful 15 minute walk into town. Susie and Rob were terrific hosts and super responsive. Best Christmas ever!

We were four family couples staying for my nephew's wedding weekend. We all had our own space and the bedroom to bathroom ratio is awesome. The outside space is really enjoyable and the kitchen is very user friendly! Would love to stay there again sometime.Thanks Rob and Susan!

What a gem this house is! And in such a great location! We stayed here for a family wedding at Mission Ranch, which is between 5-10 minutes away. The house is close to the town and the beach; some of our crowd walked or ran there; the rest of us drove the short (5-7 min?) drive. It is a cozy, welcoming home that has plenty of room for a large group. When we arrived and began to settle in, we noticed so many welcoming touches that Susan and Rob had left- it is evident that they take great care to anticipate what guests might need or want in order to feel at home. The kitchen was well stocked - we never found ourselves in need of anything. The bedrooms are lovely with comfortable beds. The whole house is nicely decorated and has lots of seating areas to lounge in; the living room area fit us all so we spent lots of time all together in there. The 5 teens/young adults in our group all ended up sleeping comfortably in the bonus room which had the door out to the hot tub and seating area in the back yard. They had a blast down there. The front porch/deck has plenty of seating for the gas fire pit and we enjoyed hanging out together by the fire. Susan is wonderful- she is extremely helpful and responsive. It seems clear to me that she takes pride in this lovely spot and makes a genuine effort to ensure that guests are happy there. Cant wait to stay here again!

Three couples were very comfortable in this lovely, well stocked home. Location is excellent and the owners are AMAZING HOSTS that are exceptionally responsive if there are issues. Without a doubt we will endeavor to secure this property in the future.

My family thoroughly enjoyed our time in and around Carmel. We stayed for three nights and easily could have spent a whole week here and still not done everything we wanted to do. Hiking at Pinnacles National Park was a high point for us (pun intended). Laguna Seca, 17 Mile Drive, whale watching tour in Monterey, shops/galleries in Carmel, were just some of the things we got to do. Visits to Big Sur, the aquarium, and more wineries are just some of the things we'll have to save for 'next time'. We LOVED the spacious hot tub to end each day. The cool sea air and the hot jets is PERFECT! The house was certainly more than needed for the four of us but we loved every minute of it. Thanks for a memorable home during our stay.

The house was great, better than expected! We had a mix of ages staying together (grandparents to grandkids), and the house was perfect for accommodating all. Whether hanging out inside or outside the house, the space was lovely and perfect for everyone! We will definitely stay here again!

Here for a reunion, we eight ladies made ourselves at home in this spacious Vrbo. Having stayed here previously with my family, I knew it'd be perfect and nabbed the reservation for my Dancing Team (High school,1975). Meeting every expectation, they were equally as impressed with the location, the decor, the fully equipped kitchen!, the private hot tub! The best testament might be that while we had multiple meal reservations, we cancelled them all! Other than heading for the shops and the beach, no one wanted to leave this amazing spot. The biggest plus was to have plenty of seating for visiting all in one room. And I mean COMFORTABLE lounging seating for everyone.

I stayed at this property for a birthday trip with life long girlfriends. It was perfect! There was plenty of space for everyone and the kitchen and family room was very well decorated and comfy. The location was very close to Carmel downtown and Pebble Beach. The owners were great communicators and provided wonderful suggestions.

Everything was amazing! The house is BEAUTIFUL, clean, and very welcoming. We could not have asked for more when choosing this place. 100% recommend!!!

This property did not appear as advertised. The yard is down giant, difficult steps and tiered. Not flat. The fire pit and dining table were on the main road by driveway and not fenced. Noise level from street was very loud on both sides as neighbor doing construction and jackhammering in the a.m. The “updated” furnishings are dated and way too chunky for this space. The house wreaked of pet urine and the carpet was filthy. We could not stretch out/exercise on the carpet or area rugs. It should be torn out to continue to be a rental. The kitchen cabinets are falling off the hinges. We did not cook in the home as we did not feel comfortable with the odor. The karaoke machine was not functioning. We had to use our laptop. Only part of the family could hot tub as the steps were way too steep. For a pet friendly advertised property, we were surprised to get a notice two days before check in that no pets allowed on furniture and they had to be crated. We received the notice after we flew to our destination. We looked on listing and could not find anywhere that showed that. This is a great potential for 5 stars once odors cleaned, carpet removed, and home updated. The yard needs to be advertised properly as do the pet rules. Not walking distance to Carmel but convenient to main roads as it’s practically on them. We probably will not ever rebook this home.

Nice home tucked in a residential neighborhood. Well-equipped for our guests. Quick access to highway making it easy to visit all areas of the Monterey Peninsula.

Lots of room and coziness throughout. There's a firepit perfect for making smores with the family and easy access to a spa in the backyard.

This house is awesome for a big family, extended family or two families vacationing together. It’s pretty far up at the top of Carmel which means you have to drive to the downtown area, but that literally takes 4 or 5 minutes. The kitchen has almost every tool you might desire to use, the front deck’s gas fire pit is cozy in the evening, and the hot tub on the back deck is a plus! The hosts are very responsive and love locally, so available quickly to help, if needed. We have made a couple of visits to this home and it has made our stay in one of the most beautiful places on Earth more enjoyable.

It was a great house in a great location. 5 minute drive to downtown Carmel and the beach. We used this property for a Thanksgiving family reunion. 6 adults & 3 young children along with a small dog. More than enough room and very comfortable, for all of us. The host/owner Susan, was very nice and accommodating. It is a home, not a hotel. It had a wonderful front yard with an awesome fire pit for gathering and a couple of outdoor decks in the backyard with a hottub. I grew up in this area & know it well. We had an amazing family stay and I would definitely use this property again.

We were happy to find a place with both a hot tub and firepit. We were in California for a family wedding and it was the first time any of us had seen each other before COVID. We loved the different hangout areas and there was enough variety for all. Thanks to the hosts for being available for any questions that may have arisen.

This property was a perfect location for our family get together for a wedding in Carmel. We had such a great time and everybody was comfortable. Absolutely loved the welcome with a bottle of wine. The house was beautifully decorated….very warm & cozy. It was big enough and prefect for our family gathering. The fire pit was perfect to sit around laugh and share stories. Only drawbacks were limited parking and fallen leaves on back deck & on top of hot tub. Nevertheless, the house was very clean, comfortable and close to Carmel & Monterey. We were 8 minutes from the Defense Language Institute. Carmel has great shopping and the beaches were a long walk or short drive away. Owners were responsive to questions. Thank you for making our time together as a family wonderful and providing great memories!
