This is a darling property and absolutely the best location. We really enjoyed our stay. The only two semi negatives were that we had to call the owner to adjust the thermostat, as the directions left for it weren’t accurate. Also, when we unmade the bed to wash the sheets, we found stains on the mattress pad. We washed it as well as the sheets. It will be clean for the next renters. 😄

Village Gem really is a gem! The kitchen was well-stocked, the decor & furnishings immediately made us feel at-home and the entire home was spotless. Plus, we could not have asked for a better location. Hosts Bill and Laurel obviously put a lot of thought and care into this home and it shows. It made our stay exceptional. We would recommend Village Gem without reservation to anyone looking for a wonderful stay in The Villages. Thank you!

This was our first visit to the Villages. The home was perfect for us. Two bedrooms, two baths, very clean and comfortable. Nice patio in back. Golf cart was great and a must have in the Villages. The location was perfect. Less than five minutes to the town square. Three championship golf courses within 10 minute golf cart ride. Pool nearby. Owners very helpful prior to arrival and during the stay. Our stay couldn't have been better. Thanks for a great trip.

We loved this place. Location was perfect. The courtyard was great to have for our pup. The neighbors were friendly when taking the pup for a walk. Parked our truck when we arrived and didn’t move it till we departed. The golf car was awesome. The wife and I were talking. This might have been the best stocked vacation rental we have stayed in. Trash bags and paper products etc. Thanks Laurel and Bill. We definitely will be back.

We had a phenomenal stay at Bill and Laurel's Village Gem. From the moment we first chatted, prior to booking, all the way through our last day, we received the best hospitality and thoroughly enjoyed our home away from home. This unit is beautiful, clean and central to the most ideal sections of the Villages. My girls LOVED the golf cart--a highlight of our trip! We were in super close proximity to the square, the grocery store and community pools. Everything about the home was comfy and enjoyable. This was also the most well-equipped rental we have ever stayed in; the games and activities were an added bonus. Laurel and Bill were great. They were incredibly fast to reply when we needed anything and they were very flexible to our needs and requests. We cannot wait to come back and enjoy this little piece of Heaven again. The house was comfortable clean. The location was fantastic! Only a couple minutes drive to Sumpter Square and Winn Dixie grocery store. The private backyard was nice too! I didn’t love having to wash the towels and sheets and put them in the dryer before we left. I never mind putting a load in the laundry prior to leaving but waiting for a load to dry before putting the next load in made us leave later than we would have liked. We appreciated having use of the golf cart when we golfed at Mallory Hills golf course which was very close by.

Very nice layout for the villa and nice lounging area outside too.

My sister has pancreatic cancer and we wanted to spend quality time in a home but also enjoy the fun. We had a blast. Thank you.

This property was beautiful well maintained very clean The location is excellent close to Sumter Landing owners provided a golf cart, which is a great added benefit property felt safe. Owner is responded to any questions right away and seems very concerned that I was having the best possible vacation. I appreciate that highly highly recommend this property and owners.

We love the Village Gem! This is our second time staying here and we are already planning on coming back next year. It has become our home away from home. The house has everything you need. You are just a few minute golf cart ride from the square/grocery store. The hosts are great, they respond to any questions is a timely manner. Our daughter is 4 she loves the study which has a love seat and a tv, it is “her own” living room. Can’t wait to return!

Beautiful home. Easy access to many restaurants and entertainment, as well as several pools and rec centers. Even nicer than expected!

We really enjoyed everything about this Villa! Location, decorating , well stocked kitchen. It was a plus, having a 4 person golfcart, for when our friends spent the day with us.

The property owners Bill and Laurel made sure that everything was just right for our stay. The house was clean, tastefully decorated and fully stocked with all of the essentials. It was in a prime location.... close to Sumter Landing/Town Squares, Caroline Pools and many golf courses!

Been renting Village homes for several years and this home is by far the best we've seen. The home was very clean, the beds were comfortable, the dishes and cooking utensils were all very good quality. The appliances even included a Keurig, a Ninja blender, and a nice toaster. Also included was a Yamaha gas golf cart. The owners were easy to communicate with and very accommodating to our needs. Overall, a very enjoyable experience.

We cannot say how much we enjoyed the home, the location and the amenities. We enjoyed taking the golf cart and listening to live music at Market Square. We ate appetizers at RJ Gators and lived a dinner at Redsauce. We met local family at Sonny’s for lunch and ate at First Watch and Flying Biscuit for breakfasts. Everything was exceptional. We would do this again.

Great property near the heart of the villages. We were able to visit the area via golf cart and enjoyed seeing all the different squares. Would definitely stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful 2 bedroom 2 bath home in the Villages of Caroline in Florida! They had everything we needed as kitchen was well stocked and all of our needs were met! We loved having the Golf Cart to zip around in! Hopefully we can return again next year to visit family!

My experience was great except in comparison to other VRBO’s that I have stayed in I have NEVER been asked to do towel laundry or bed sheet laundry before I checked out it in the early morning.. The reason stayed was because the maid didn’t have the appropriate time to accomplish these tasks. Totally unacceptable . Maybe consider hiring a new maid or an additional maid or maid service. Everything else was great and very highly rated.

Location was great. Really a short golf cart ride to Sumter Landing. We didn’t even rent a car. Other areas were very easy to get to as well. The Villages were beautiful!

A wonderful experience! Laurel (owner) was exceptional from pre booking on. Any questions we had regarding the property or the area were answered immediately. The house was extremely comfortable, clean and ready for us! Couldn’t ask for more!

The Village Gem is PERFECTLY located just a few minute golf cart ride to Winn Dixie and just a couple more to the square! Golf cart included was a great bonus. The property is clean and fully stocked for all our needs. Laural and Bill were very attentive when we had a couple questions. We have family that lives in The Villages and we plan to stay at this property again!

We enjoyed are stay for the 3 months we were there. The location was ideal, the property was exactly as the pictures displayed and the owners were very attentive to any of our needs. We would highly recommend this rental.
