This cabin was perfect! Views are amazing! Beds were comfy, showers were great. The cabin was clean and super easy to get to, the circle driveway was so nice. The swing on the deck was a huge hit..not only with the kiddos but my husband! The karaoke in the media room gave us some great entertainment. We cannot wait to book with Cathie again! She was the best host and super responsive.

It's as simple as this... The house was everything it's pictures showed! Fantastic view, clean property, pool table, hot tub, and karaoke too!

This is the home for you if you want comfortable beds, incredible views and a very convenient quite location. My wife and I really enjoyed our time here and will be back!

We came to the Mountains to relax and recharge. Swingin on A Star did not disappoint!! The cabin is cozy, with a great location and did I mention the VIEW!!! Cathie made us feel like family that she invited to stay at her cabin for the week. She was very attentive!! We could go on and on......Great week!!!!! Thanks Cathie!!

Wonderful! The cabin was perfect! It had everything we needed and the VRBO description was right on! The view of the mountains was great, the hot tub was great after hiking and we all had plenty of our own space to relax. The cabin is a short drive from downtown Gatlinburg, and even shorter drive to a grocery store and liquor store. Perfect all around!

The view from the cabin was very beautiful. The privacy of the location and checking in/out was perfect for what my family wanted. There was a big enough back yard for the kids to play. The hot tub had privacy from neighbors. All the TVs could be logged into streaming services. There were plenty of towels and blankets for a whole family to use. This location was close to Gatlinburg and the Smokey Mountain National Park. Sevierville is about 30 minutes away with normal spring break traffic.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Swingin' On A Star! The cabin offered so much in the way of entertainment and relaxation. And the view from the porch is absolutely breathtaking!! We'll be back!!!

Swinging on a Star is beautiful. Cathie has everything you could ever need and more to make you feel right at home. It was decorated beautifully and it was so neat and clean. The beds are super comfy,I wish we had more time. My boys loved the game room. The view is amazing! We never got tired of it. Soaking in the hot tub looking at the mountains was the best! My husband and son even got to see a bear in the yard our 2nd night there. We had karaoke nights and movie night. There is so much to do! We spent a day downtown Gatlinburg it was a quick 5 minutes away. Swinging on a Star has it all, we can't wait to return!

Our vacation rental was truly amazing at Swingin' On A Star. First of all, our host was friendly, accommodating, and welcoming to our family from the moment we booked our vacation to the check-out process. She made sure we were taken care of as soon as we arrived and personable for any needs we had. As we pulled up, the immediate appeal of the cabin and the breathtaking view of the mountains blew us away. The home overlooks the Smokey Mountains, and the entire backyard faces a breathtaking view. It was peaceful, quiet, and relaxing in the backyard. The porch swings, chairs, and jacuzzi made the relaxing atmosphere pleasurable. As you enter the rental, the home is perfectly decorated for the mountain experience. FULLY accommodating in every room with many amenities to support your vacation stay. The decor gives you a welcoming feel while comforting to know the host made the extra effort to ensure you feel at home while vacationing in the mountains. We did not want to leave daily to go explore as we wanted to enjoy the rental. The beds and linens were quality and extremely comfortable which made our long days of exploring worth it. The game room and media room were our favorite along with the jacuzzi. Many wonderful activities to use when you have downtime to relax and have fun. We loved the pool table and the old-school games such as Pac-Man. We appreciate the extra effort our host provides and will DEFINITELY return for our next vacation.

We came for a get away in January when there was snow everywhere and it was incredible! The views were amazing! The cabin had everything we needed and more! Being from the South we were concerned with what the road conditions would be with there being so much snow, but every morning snow plows went through and the roads were so easy and safe to drive on! We will definitely be back with our kids!

After locating this property on Vrbo, including all reviews, our expectations were very high. Honestly, the cabin exceeded those expectations! The kitchen was furnished with high-end appliances, the bathrooms were very nice with good water pressure, and we were able to utilize our YouTubeTV streaming services on the 2 TVs we utilized! Jim, in-charge maintenence, had the TVs on ready for Super Bowl Sunday! Cathie, our Property Manager, was absolutely a delight to work with, and very knowledgeable about not only the property itself, but, with all the places to eat and visit! We truly enjoyed our 50th wedding anniversary and looking forward to returning for more fun times!

This cabin is exactly as described. The owner is very responsive when called. We had an ice storm during our stay and were very comfortable in the cabin with plenty to keep us all busy. Thank you Cathy for sharing your wonderful cabin. Loved it!

A well appointed cabin with a spectacular view - this property has it all! Clean hot tub overlooking the mountains, game room and plenty of space. Particularly liked the abundance of bathrooms - every room has one! The floor plan is ideal! The decorations are so fun - very thoughtfully laid out. And we loved the convenience of parking - there’s a level roundabout out front. Also incredibly well located - you feel like you’re mountain remote but you are only 7 minutes from tons of shopping and food! We have stayed at several vacation rentals in the area and this one is by far our favorite!

It is truly hard to put into words just how incredible the cabin is. The view alone is enough to take your breath away. The cabin is so beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for our stay. Truly an amazing place to stay and will absolutely be booking again in the future.

The most beautiful cabin - just like the pictures - in an outstanding location - peaceful and serene with an unobstructed view of Mount LeConte - yet less than a 5 minute drive to restaurants and stores - including Gatlinburg's arts and crafts community. The cabin was beautifully decorated for Fall and was spotless. The comfortable bedding and blackout curtains ensured the best sleep I have had in ages ! We enjoyed watching a couple movies in the media room, and also soaking in the private hot tub. Cathie was the best owner ever - thank you for sharing your second home with us - we hope to come soon !

This cabin was easy to get to from light #3 in Gatlinburg off 321. Food city, various restaurants and stores within a short drive of the cabin to pick up anything you might need on the way. The cabin welcomes you with a circular drive and a large bear statue. A few steps up to the large porch that wraps around to the door and on further to the amazing views of the mountains. The porches were well appointed with comfortable seating,swing, table and a hot tub. Inside the cabin is decorated to make you feel right at home. The kitchen had everything we needed to fix meals there at the cabin. Living room had a large tv with comfortable seating and a fireplace for those chilly nites. There is also a media room with a large sectional and movies, and even a karaoke setup. It was nice that each bedroom has its own closet, bath, ceiling fan and TV within. We really enjoyed the game room in the loft area, spent alot of time playing pool, darts, checkers and Pac-Man. Everything was super clean and Cathie was a great host to work with from the ease of making the reservations, to when we arrived and she checked in to see that everything was okay to thanking us upon departure for staying with her! This was a great place to stay! We will be back!

The view is breathtaking! Honestly looks like something out of a painting! The parking was so convenient and easy to get to. Our Pomeranian, Charlie, had a BLAST! If we weren’t on the back porch, we were in the theater room with a glass of wine. We will always remember our stay here and will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our time at the cabin! The view is amazing! I took probably 20 pictures at different times of the day because depending on the sun it looks a little different!! We saw a mama bear and baby cubs in the backyard one afternoon, They were just passing through. The inside is decorated cute and comfortable. It had everything you would need. It’s nice that each bedroom has its own bathroom. Would stay again. Cathy was wonderful to work with!

This is our second time at this cabin, and it definitely won’t be our last! We love everything about it…It is cozy and comfortable, beautiful inside and out! We love the regular decor, and also the fact that it was decorated for the season…Such a special touch. The mountain views from the decks can’t be beat! It’s even better than the photos. Everything is super clean, too, which we really appreciate! Cathie is so easy to communicate with and extremely welcoming, making it a joy to work with her. Can’t wait to come back!

We just returned home and I miss it already. The house was perfect and Cathie was extremely attentive to our needs, It is an absolutely beautiful property and the location was perfect. We can’t wait to return!

The cabin was amazing! All as described, including the view. Very clean and up to date. Cathie, the owner, was excellent! She checked in on us via texts and made herself available if we needed anything. However, we did not need anything during our stay. The check in, check out procedure was seamless. I would recommend this cabin to family and friends and I would go back for certain. Our kids loved it too!

This property has amazing views no matter where you are standing. The bedrooms have extremely comfortable beds with blackout curtains which was great for sleeping in or an afternoon nap. Also the host made it very easy to communicate with her, even gave us some great ideas for hiking. We would definitely stay there again.

This home is beautiful. The owner has paid so much attention to detail. The home is comfortable, cozy, and has amazing views. You are 5 minutes to downtown Gaitlinburg and a short drive to Pigeon Forge. Cathie is wonderful with communication. I highly recommend staying at this property!

Quiet area (far enough from busy but close enough to be there in minutes) in Arts and Crafts Community, very clean cabin beautifully decorated, lots of room, property owner great to work with. But probably best of all is that view from the back decks (including from the hot tub)! We would definitely stay here again!

We’ve traveled to Gatlinburg several times and this cabin had the best view so far. Quiet area. Clean, beautiful cabin. Exactly as listed. Short drive to town. We got to visit our favorite local restaurant Three Jimmy’s. Cathie has been wonderful to work with. She checked in ahead of our trip and again after we arrived to ensure we made it safely and to make sure we had all we needed. Would highly recommend!! We’ll be back again.
