Overall our stay was amazing. Probably one thing I can say is that although the house is beautiful and it has the 1800s feel there is a need to modernize it and give it the update it deserves otherwise it was comfortable and location was great. Close to everything and walking distance to the Riverwalk, shops, and restaurants.

The home is in much need of repairs and cleanup. We never even used the gardens because they were such a mess in the backyard. Walls need repaired, shower door and faucet need repaired some furniture needs replaced as all the feathers are coming out of the couch. Sadly the home is showing wear and tear and they're not maintaining it. You can't just rely on your historical building to please tenants. I hope that they invest some money into the property soon.

The location was great, on a beautiful street in the historic district. We could walk to almost everything. The house itself was lovely and very comfortable. We wished we could have sat in the garden but we had too much rain. The kitchen was well stocked. We utilized the shop and stock service which was a great timesaver and worked well. The home was certainly spacious with 4 bedrooms 3.5 baths. However, the house had a musty smell and there was mold in the third floor bath and water stains in several locations in baths and bedrooms. The furniture (especially in room off kitchen) needs to be cleaned and the home needs a really good cleaning from top to bottom. In addition, the hair dryers need to be replaced and a box of kleenex should have been placed in each bath. The outside patio was in desperate need of cleaning. Also, due to filming a movie in front of 212 W. Jones Street, we were not able to be dropped off in front of the home; we had to walk a couple of blocks with our luggage to get to our destination. We should have been warned of the filming situation. One last comment, there are squirrels or some kind of animal in the walls of the master bedroom and third floor bedrooms.

There is a lot of space and privacy. The location is perfect, an easy walk to everything.We didn't cook, but the kitchen is well stocked and there are 2 stoves. The only very minor complaint is that there were no paper towels, which we needed to clean the pollen covered outdoor furniture. The house itself was spotless. There is no parking, but it was easy to park at a metered spot out front. The meters are free on the weekends, just pay attention to the street cleaning on Fri night. The only other minor issue was that they wouldn't allow us to delay checkout by an hour unless we paid $50, despite the fact that the app said an hour delay would be free, and the website showed that no one was arriving for a few days. Again, not a big deal. We loved the house and definitely recommend it.

We walked to Forsyth Park and City Market (among others) from the property. With 2 grandparents, 2 parents and 4 kids we had plenty of room to spread out. While the home has been beautifully decorated, it needs some serious refreshing, top to bottom. Every bathroom has smudged, bubbled, chipped, peeling and/or missing paint. Every wall is scuffed, scratched, marked, splashed or otherwise marred. The furniture in the family room near the kitchen sheds an enormous amount of down feathers and the cushions can barely stay in place but mostly slide to the floor. The screen door on the family room sliding door has long since lost its connection to the frame and topples precariously if moved. The rug in the living room has a permanently curled area rug that is a serious tripping hazard for both the toddling and elderly set. It appears to have been tacked down at some point, but the tape is long gone. While superficially clean, orderly, and reeking of cleaning fluid when we arrived, the tired condition of the interior of this place seems not to have been maintained to the standard one would expect for the price and the pictures.

The location of this historic house is perfect for strolling the squares, Forsyth Park and nearby restaurants. The home itself is really beautiful, especially the first floor. Lots of comfy sitting areas, a lovely dining room, nice kitchen and a great deck off the kitchen for morning coffee or evening wine. However, upon walking in, the first thing we noticed was a musty smell. I had seen this in previous reviews and checked with the management company before booking. I was assured the musty smell had been addressed and was no longer a problem. Turning on the A/C (and later during our stay, the heat) and leaving the fan running seemed to help. The second and third floors need some work. While the master bedroom (2nd floor) and bathroom were gorgeous, the other 2nd floor and the 3rd floor bathrooms need updating. Although they were clean, they are dated and worn. There was mold on some of the bedroom windows and the railing on the deck off the other 2nd floor bedroom was in need of paint. Having said all that, we were able to deal with the issues and truly did enjoy our girls getaway in this lovely home.

If the city wants people to stay in the city, they must make visitors parking passes available on the internet. Until then, owners must fully explain the parking procedures. Will not visit city again or tell others to visit until parking rules are changed. Also shops close on a random schedule so you never know for sure when they will be open.

The location of this home on one of the 'most photographed streets' was beautiful. This is a historic home and you can tell. The architecture was terrific. My issue with the rental is there is one key for the door....and it is required to lock from both inside and outside. With six adults having different schedules, this made the rental very inconvenient, but we managed. I was extremely disappointed with the booking process. I had to follow up no less than 4 times to get my confirmation and then they tried to charge an extra $300 above the rental price. I had to call the office for a fifth time just to get the overcharge handled. That was WAY too much hassle even for this beautiful rental.

Beautiful historic home on the best street in Savannah. Location can't be beat. Couple houses down from Mrs. Wilkes dining room so you can trade off with family members while you wait in line ;-) This home is clean and comfortable but could use a little refresh in the bathrooms and some furnishings. Photos are fairly accurate, but you'll find beds without dust ruffles and some pretty well loved furniture in the kitchen sitting room. As long as you know what to expect you should be fine. Again, great location. During one freezing cold, pouring rain evening we ran around the corner for a fantastic meal at the Crystal Beer Parlor, delicious!

Reviewer Comments: Our 3-night stay started out on a sour note as we were expecting a 5-bedroom house (as published) but only had 4 bedrooms to split between 5 couples. All other aspects of our rental experience met expectations.

The house is in a perfect location. My friends and enjoyed staying here. The only complaint is that 2 of us have asthma and the house smells of mildew and maybe mold. You can smell it as soon as you walk into the house. Unfortunately my asthma has gotten much worse each day. So if you're sensitive to mold and mildew you may want to stay somewhere else. With this tthe home was very clean and beautifully decorated.
